What are people saying about Washington DC

Viator (David) made sure that I had my tickets before we reached there.
An amazing experience. We had to wait for hardly 10-20 minutes in the line. And we were completely ok because we must respect the security checks. It's for our safety only. The security check officers were great and provided the needed information and guidance since this was a self guided tour. David, was the person - guide -;who was in our constant contact regarding the tickets and other information. He explained us everything thoroughly and informed us in advance that this will be a self guided tour and he made sure that we had our tickets with us. He reminded us again and again about the tickets. He sent us text messages, and emails with our tickets. I have read the reviews on Viator that some travelers have complained about not receiving their tickets. But Through Viator my experience was amazing and I had my tickets before I reached there. My family was so amazed to see the monument from inside and specifically the museum inside.

Great information!
This tour is a great “taste” of seeing 3 huge museums. Evelyn was a terrific guide and although it was a fast tour the information was great. Be aware this is not a tour for those that can’t walk quickly and there is some long distance between each stop.,

A beautiful way to see the historic area areas of Washington DC!
A beautiful and different way to look at the historic buildings of Washington DC! So much more magical at night! Like walking as most of the journey was using a van, but you do need to be able to walk up to the monuments. Three hours long, so prepare for that.

A great bike tour! Doable...
A great bike tour! Doable for anyone who knows how to ride a bike. The facts and all the sites were great. The guide gave us enough time at each location.
We got hit with so many things that could have made the trip not as enjoyable but we all had great attitudes and all was happenstance and nothing in the control of the tour guide. Ex: a crazy amount of bugs on the oath that we rode through; rogue sprinklers that had it out for us (no one got wet though!); massive kid tour groups and the UFC fight setup increasing the amount of people at the Lincoln memorial.
With all that it was still such a great tour and I recommend it!

Excellent way to spend a few hours!!
This tour was very informative and gave key highlights to the area without needing to spend hours and hours reading plaques in different buildings on our own. It was a comfortable pace for all individuals in the group. Our guide, Debra, was not only knowledgeable about the area and different buildings but attentive to the people she led. We especially appreciated the tickets to the Senate and the House galleries and felt this was the perfect ending to a great day.

A Germantown gem!
Vicky was a wonderful guide. She’s so knowledgeable about Georgetown, the history, the fun facts delivered with a sense of humor. She’s very adaptable and attentive to your needs. I couldn’t walk very far today as I was not feeling well. She adjusted immediately. Highly recommend Vicky as your tour guide!

Would definitely take this tour
I was looking for a walking tour that was not too long and would also be informational. This was a great tour and absolutely checked both boxes. Trevor was a wonderful tour guide. He made the history of Lincoln’s assassination interesting and engaging. I would absolutely recommend this if you are looking for something different while visiting DC.

Full moon full of photo ops.
Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable of the history, very considerate of passengers, helpful regarding taking photos and exceptional about pick up and return to hotel of passengers. He had a sense of humor and an insight that reflected a true appreciation for the history of the US monuments.

Beautiful way to see the monuments!
This is a wonderful way to see the monuments at night. You get a whole different perspective of them than during the day. Daniel was our guide and he was full of great information about not only the monuments but the area. I would highly recommend this tour as well as Daniel.

Great tour!
We loved it! We had Davey Crockett and he was so realistic! It was more of a history tour than a ghost tour - so definitely family friendly. We have lived in DC our whole lives and learned many new things. It’s also nice to walk around the Capitol grounds at night! A unique experience. Davey is very knowledgeable of the history and it was easy to retain everything he said because of the fun storylines he framed! Definitely recommend this tour and the price is a steal! There are a few more that cost a bit more and I don’t think that’s worth it.

Fabulous food tour in Georgetown! Book it now!
We had a great time with Jacob on the tour. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a funny sense of humor. The Ethiopian restaurant was star of the show! We loved seeing Julia Childs home and the history that went with it. Great job, Jacob!! If you’re reading this, don’t think twice, book the tour. You won’t be disappointed.

Must do Smithsonian tour
Christopher was wonderful. I learned so much and the 2 1/2 hour tour went very quickly. I would love to repeat this tour or book him for other museums as he is a wealth of knowledge. Learned much more from him pointing out specific/special exhibits/information that I ever could’ve done on my own.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
You can’t visit the US capital without immediately thinking about the country’s history—there is a museum and monument around every corner, after all. While you can Smithsonian-hop on your own, Washington DC historical tours add both structure and depth to your journey of knowledge. Let knowledgeable guides whisk you past iconic sights like the White House and Capitol Hill, or skip the lines to enter the hallowed halls of the Library of Congress. No matter which tour you choose, you’ll definitely leave with a lot more factoids than when you started.
