This skip the line guided tour (What A Life tours) included Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. Elaine was knowledgeable, funny, and kept us on track theough busy spaces. I appreciated her depth of knowledge and commitment to continued learning about the history of artifacts and spaces. She truly loves her job. It was quite hot when we were there and large air conditioning units were not yet installed. Plan accordingly either water and cool clothes. Shoulder and knee coverings are required. Tip: cafe vaticano between the Vatican and the meeting point does not always open on time.

Tour was well organized, unlike other tours we saw, the meeting area was inside with seating! Other tour groups were meeting in long lines outside in the heat. The tour was smaller than many groups we saw (around 13 guests) we feel it was definitely worth the extra money for the smaller group size and the organization of the tour company.

This was the perfect way to start our trip to Rome!

We took the tour on our first evening, and it gave us an incredible overview of the city while helping us get oriented before exploring on our own over the next few days. Seeing Rome at night was absolutely magical. The monuments, fountains, and historic streets are beautifully illuminated after dark, and experiencing them from the comfort of a golf cart made the tour both relaxing and exciting. We were able to cover so much more ground than we could have on foot while still having plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos, and learn about the city's incredible history. We traveled as a family with our 17-year-old daughter and our 9-year-old son, and both of them loved it. Finding an activity that keeps everyone engaged isn't always easy, but this tour was entertaining, comfortable, and enjoyable for all of us. It was a great way to avoid a lot of walking after a long day of travel while still seeing Rome's most iconic sights. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience both informative and fun. They shared interesting stories about the city's history while also pointing out places we wanted to come back and visit later during our stay. The perfect ending was stopping for gelato at what turned out to be one of the best gelato shops we visited during our entire trip to Italy, and we ate a lot of gelato in Rome, Florence, and Venice! It was a delicious way to wrap up an unforgettable evening. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome, especially if it's your first day in the city. It's a fantastic introduction to Rome, a great value, and an experience our whole family will remember for years to come.

A cannot miss experience!

Honestly maybe the best tour I’ve ever been on! I’ve visited to Rome before but the experience made me feel like I was seeing it for the first time. We initially booked this due to our short time in Rome to try and get as much in as possible, thinking we wouldn’t get a chance to properly see and learn about all the places. But we felt like we really got so much out of it. Our guide Daniele was such a great host, and so engaged! Most tours feel like a memorised script but we feel like it was really tailored to us and he’s very open to questions. You can tell he has a real passion for this and that he knows quite a lot. Would definitely book again and recommend to anyone we know.

Duccio Is The BEST!

Duccio! Duccio! Duccio! My wife and I cannot say enough good things about him if we tried! He was an AMAZING tour guide and especially so with our 2 year old daughter. He knew exactly how to pace the tour for our family and even noticed, before my wife and I, when it might be a good time for the toddler potty break (which immediately calmed what was about to be an epic temper tantrum). He was also extremely informative and his love and passion for the city of Rome was extremely evident! He curated the tour to things that we wanted to see and took us to an amazing local spot for gelato. The tour was quite comprehensive and moved at a good pace. I liked the size of the tour group and our guide (Marco) was engaging and fun. Meeting at Crown Tours was simple to find our group although an hour before the tour is a long time to stand around. The tour office has no where to sit, some air-conditioned space inside, no washroom facilities and although I understand the desire to have the group present and ready to go in advance of the tour, it was a long wait with little shade.
