Our tour guide gave us so much information- definitely more than we could have gotten by going through without a guide. He seemed to be a very genuine and honest person when he explained the information he passes on to us and why he guides tours. We had children with us and the tour was child friendly as was our guide.

A few days before the event the operator asked me if I could change the time and date. Neither worked for my schedule. The operator set me up with an audioguide tour, which was OK. Still waiting on the refund. A guided tour would have been much better.

Donatella was incredibly passionate about the history of the building and gave us an amazing experience. It was great that she didn’t hold back from any negatives so giving us the full rounded view of the Castel. It is an impressive place and would recommend getting a guide of her standard to give you all the extras that a simple audio guide could never provide. Bravissima Donatella

Our tour guide (Alex) really made the experience top notch. He was funny, energetic and knew his history. He kept everyone engaged and involved throughout the tour

Unfortunately our tour guide was completely unaware of how to keep a group/tour together. Not once did she look or try to look around to see if the group was together. She was basically a tour guide solely for the few that were able to be right next to her. We lost her 3 times and on our own found her until the last time we completely lost the group and we left the tour not on purpose but bc she was extremely hard to understand and we had no idea when the group was leaving a large area and lost the tour. She was running through the Castel and we couldn’t even see what she was talking about and she would run to the next spot.
After spending $300 for a 2 hour tour and only got 49 mins, we were not happy.
Unsure how she doesn’t have pages of complaints as a guide.

Communication prior to the tour was excellent and clear. The meeting point was easy to find, but the greeter did not show up. Fortunately we found others in our small group so we knew we were in the right spot. Our tour guide was a little late and had to handle the logistics (something she didn’t normally have to do). Once the tour started, we found the guide engaging, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour despite the hiccup at the start.

This was supposed to be a 2 hour tour. The guide left us after 1 hour and told us to walk around on our own. He was very repetitive saying the same thing over & over again. The place is well marked with a lot of signage in English. Much better to purchase tickets & go on your own. It is worth seeing the Castle and the view from the top is spectacular

We did this tour as we missed it last time in Rome. Small group and knowledgeable guide, good pace that caterers well for most. Lots of stairs. Enjoyed the history and view as well as the displays. We had drinks afterwards to enjoy the view at the cafe for a while. Good tour would recommend.

A must do on your list. The view is remarkable and worth it alone for just that. We arrived late (Rome traffic is not to be underestimated), but a rep from the company was still waiting and guided us to where we needed to go. Our guide, Silvia, was amazing. She was nice, knowledgeable, and had a sense of humor. The history of the castle is really fascinating.
