This was a great way to see so many sites when we didn’t have a lot of time. We came in on a cruise ship and were only in Rome for one day. We had a wonderful guide and we saw a lot of the city in just a few hours.

It wasn't much of a tour; the driver shared very little information; and we saw few sights; but we did see lots of alleys. We expected more. disappointing tour of our first time in Rome.

Although the guide is well versed in the history and provided a good tour, the tour was to include the colosseum floor and did not and just a few days prior to the tour they changed by moving it up 30 minutes.
Note that there is a quite a bit of walking in this tour and dumbing summer months you will not have sun cover.

We would like to clarify that entry inside the monuments, including access to the Colosseum floor, is not included in this golf cart tour. This is clearly stated in the tour description, as including monument entry would significantly extend the duration of the experience and change its format.

The photo is misleading. The golf cart we travelled in only had one middle row and one row facing backwards for passengers. One other passenger could sit next to the driver in the front.
The last row is behind the back axle and every irregularity in the road, and there is lots, will be transferred straight to the spine of the passengers. Painful and unpleasant.
Fumes and heat from the road is also directly transferred to the bodies of the passengers sitting in the last row.
The tour guide had to talk and look rearwards whilst driving which is unsafe. Furthermore all is lost on on the rear facing passengers due to the surrounding noise and all the attractions are explained whilst driving and pointing forward.

Our vehicles are regularly used for this type of tour and are suitable for passenger transport around Rome.
When you expressed discomfort during the tour, our driver tried to assist and offered you the possibility to move to the front seats of the vehicle in order to make the experience more comfortable.
Unfortunately, this option was declined, and you decided to end your participation in the tour voluntarily at Piazza Navona, after approximately one hour.
We regret that you did not enjoy the experience, but we would like to underline that the tour was not cancelled by the operator and the service was provided as booked.
Our team always does its best to make guests feel comfortable and to provide assistance whenever possible.
We appreciate your comments and will continue to take guest feedback into account to improve our tours.

This tour is perfect to see lots of sites without the walking involved with an independent trip. Our guide, Riccardo, was a native of Rome and knew his way through the back streets and was a font of knowledge.

What an amazing tour of Rome with Jimmy! Could not recommend this more! We got to see all of the amazing highlights and hidden gems! We did a 3 hour tour and it was perfect for our group aged from 16 to 72. We could not have hit all of these highlights on our own. Well worth the price!!

Be prepared to have a great time. So much more intimate than a bus tour. You have an opportunity to interact with pedestrians along the way.
Our guide, Matteo (Matt) answered all our questions, no matter how out there (is pot legal in Italy, no) and provided facts about the sites, with humor and a love for the city. I never felt he was just doing his job, but wanted to create an experience we would always remember. I know I will.
He was also very accommodating about the end of our tour, dropping us at the most convenient spot for our hotel, even in a detour created by an organized protest. The drivers were able to keep us clear of the protestors, but still making sure we go to see all the sites.

This was such a perfect way to see Rome! We did the nighttime tour and were able to see so many different places without the chaos of the lines and all the extras that take away from the experience. Our guide had some secret entrances to get into different spot spots so we could get some amazing pictures. It was our favorite part of visiting Rome!

Nick was awesome. We picked a day that was a holiday unknowingly, Nick was able to do a lot of substitutions as well as the main sites. He was very personable and absolutely wonderful. Fully recommend him and the golf cart tour!!!

Tho experience was worth every penny!!! Stefano was incredible. He had amazing historical facts and stories that he shared with a passion. It was also 90+ degrees so having the chance to ride around and see these historical sites was very memorable. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Our driver was inattentive. He pulled away in the golf cart when I was still getting out. It was hard to hear him speak while he was driving. He never gave us an exact time to return to the car at each stop. When I asked the driver a question he did not know I was in his group. We seemed to drive in circles. Disappointed with this tour.

As clearly stated in the product description, we are unable to make exceptions due to safety and operational regulations. Additionally, your booking was for 5 participants, and we had assigned a golf cart with a capacity of 5, so it was not possible to change the vehicle and add another passenger at the time of the tour specially a children.Thanks for your understanding.

Don't depend on this tour operator for anything. We had purchased tickets for a golf cart tour - reference # 1348347013 - on 12/5/2026 @ 11:00 AM. Due to the delayed start form the cruise ship we arrived at the meeting point 10, minutes late only to find out that the tour operator had alt=ready left. His only comment was "everyone knows in Europe we use what's ap to communicate". The only communication I ever received from Viator was thru email. Paid over $475 for this tour and was told, oh well, too bad. Never use this tour operator if you want reliability or assistance.

Good to go on first, so you get a handle on where things are or at least it helps you. Watch out the people drive wild in Italy. It is a fun tour.
