We paid for a group of 10 but had a couple back out last minute and only had 8 that made the excursion. They provided 2 drivers: one drove a van that should only hold 5 guests. That driver was very knowledgeable but she was extremely soft spoken and hard to hear even with repeated requests to please speak louder and close the windows. The other driver spoke very little English and drove a 4 door sedan that could only hold 2-3 guests. Seating was really for a group of 7, not 10. Our day went fine but would have been very uncomfortable had we had the 10 we paid for. We also thought we were guaranteed to have English speaking drivers.

We had such a wonderful day with Alexandre! He took us to the beautiful palaces of Sintra, along some incredible coastal sights, and all the way back to Lisbon. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and attentive throughout the entire day, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
Beyond the tour itself, Alexandre gave us so many great recommendations and tips for the rest of our time in Lisbon and Porto, which made our trip even better. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and wants them to have the best experience possible.

Tiago was absolutely phenomenal and made our day trip to Sintra and Cascais one of the highlights of our time in Portugal. From the very beginning, his communication before the trip was excellent, and we felt completely confident that everything was well organized.
He was a wonderful driver and made sure we were able to visit all of the places we wanted to see throughout the day without ever feeling rushed. His car was extremely comfortable, which was especially appreciated during a full day of sightseeing.
What really made the experience special, though, was Tiago himself. We had fantastic conversations throughout the day about Portuguese culture, history, the places we were visiting, and life in Portugal. He was incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to spend the day with.

We traveled to Lisbon, Portugal, for the first time to celebrate our goddaughter’s wedding. We knew there were a few places we wanted to see, but beyond that, we really didn’t know how to put the day together or make the most of our limited time.
Fortunately, we found Swingo, and they paired us with Fabio as our private driver and guide.
What a difference that made.
Fabio was courteous, professional, and an excellent, safe driver. But what really made the experience special was how much he knew and how naturally he shared it. He didn’t simply drive us from one tourist attraction to another. He gave us the history, context, stories, and little details that helped us understand what we were actually seeing and why it mattered.
From Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra, through Cabo da Roca and Guincho, and finally into Cascais, Fabio helped turn what could have been a long day of sightseeing into one of the highlights of our first trip to Portugal.
We especially appreciated that the day never felt rushed or scripted. Fabio knew when to explain, when to make a recommendation, and when to give us the space to explore and enjoy the moment. That balance is harder to find than people realize.
If this is your first visit to Lisbon and you’re trying to figure out how to experience Sintra, the Portuguese coast, and Cascais in one day, this is the way I would do it.
And if you can request your driver, ask for Fabio.
He didn’t simply show us Portugal. He helped us understand and appreciate it. That’s what we’ll remember.

We had a stellar experience with Felipe David. He picked up our family of four, and the ride was roomy enough for all of us. He helped us drop off our luggage at the hotel before taking us all around Lisbon and even outside of Lisbon. He was entertaining and informative and helped us time activities to avoid lines. Since it was such a hot day and we were only in town briefly, we were grateful to have this more efficient way to see so much of the city and learn about its history.
This tour was around Lisbon, visiting multiple sites, including spectacular overviews, the waterfront and, of course, a visit to the bakery that produces the well-known Portuguese custard pastry.
Our guide, Nuno, was quite knowledgeable, imparting history of the various sites in a calm and humorous manner The four of us are each walking challenged to some degree - Nuno showed much patience in escorting and assisting us.
Teresa C. met us as we disembarked and our wonderful visit to Lisbon began. Teresa was knowledgeable and truly interested in what we wanted achieve in the six hours with her. She was also an amazing driver, parking in spaces with inches to spare!
Teresa took us "off the path" to find a special place for lunch and frequented by locals.
In our many years of touring, Teresa was the best guide ever, and we left Lisbon with a new friend.
Driver was Fantastic!!! MS. TORRES what a sweet educated beautiful young woman!!! Highly recommend!!
Loved our private Lisbon tour with Nunos! Highly recommend exploring the city with a local guide. The tour was amazing and our driver took us to all the main sights and hidden gems. Highly recommend! ✨

Nuno Gomes was a wonderful tour guide. He's a Lisbon native and knows the city like the back of his hand. The details and historical facts he told me throughout our tour were fascinating. I asked for some specific places and things I wanted to see and he was extremely accommodating. I highly recommend a tour with Nuno, especially if this is your first time in the city. Great six+ hours tour of the city. All the highlights. Our guide was very knowledgeable and flexible. Dyane came prepared to give us an introduction to Lisbon but unbeknownst to her we had taken a tuk tuk tour the day before (included in our hotel stay). She was able to shift things around and we had a fabulous time. She was an excellent driver and her English was perfect. We wish Dyane a wonderful career as a Viator guide.

Our guide, Jose, was very knowledgeable about the history of the city. He used the time we had to visit most of the stops on our list, always being concerned with the comfort of each person in the group. José spoke English very well and we had no difficulty understanding him. All of us in the group enjoyed chatting with him and learning about the city. The vehicle was crowded with 8 passengers and there was no wi-fi as advertised but its absence was not missed. I would recommend this tour operator and Jose to anyone looking for an enjoyable day in Lisbon.
