If you're looking for a wonderful nice driver to take you around this is a great option but if you're looking for more you might want to choose a different tour. Our guide was early to pick us up and everything went smoothly, but I wish we had used another company because we did not go to all the stops we wanted and the tour ended 30 minutes early. We were mostly just dropped at each spot with little to no guidance. Our last stop wasn't even one we requested, so I wish we could have done more. There also wasn't the bottle water that should have been included, not a big issue but we could have brought if we knew.

Pretty nice itinerary and sights. Beautiful day. Perfect length. But, misleading features. Van had no functioning AC which meant open windows and much wind noise if you didn't want to cook. Rear had no opening windows, though very nice Mercedes Van, still way too hot for rear passengers. Also, no advertised wifi either. Both affected our overall experience. Sights and stops pretty good. We enjoyed Nelson, driver, but not really a "guide" even thought this was billed as a "half day tour". Value about 50% of what we paid, but won't give us back our limited time in Lisbon, so...hope your booking turns out better!

I originally booked a tuktuk tour but switched last minute after I saw rain in the forecast on Feb 8, 2026. We had Ricardo as our guide and from the very first interaction, we knew he would be amazing! Although it was a rainy day in Lisbon, he customized our tour especially for my Dad (he uses a walker) so that we could see as many things as we could in the 4 hour tour we booked. He was very attentive to our needs, ensuring he would drop us off as close as possible to the entrance of each of the sites and gave us free time to explore around and take pictures. We were able to try Pasteis de Belem and had a ginja shot close to Rossio Square! Highlight of the tour for sure! He also shared some local recommendations on what to do after, where to eat etc. Only downside was that the van wasn't as comfortable as it could be - the seats you could feel the metal underneath on the middle row and with the cold and rain, the windows fogged up inside and we had to wipe the inside windows down to be able to see sites that we would pass by. This is beyond the tour guide's control - Ricardo was a wonderful guide, had great stories to share and treated us like we were family! Obrigada!

Daniela and Daniel picked up 10 Seniors at the Marriott at 2pm. It poured and rained for the one and a half hour ride to Fatima.
We stopped at Centro Comercial Fatima for shopping. This place was huge with many artifacts.
When we reached Fatima the first miracle happened. It stopped raining the entire time we visited Fatima. What a unique experience!!
Daniela was our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. We had free time to explore the property.
We left Fatima in the dark. On the way back it rained again. Sometimes there were torrential downpours!!!
The second miracle occurred when Daniela and Daniel reached our hotel safe and sound!!!!!
Daniela and Daniel are great assets to Magnificat Tours and should be recognized.

Paulo and Ana picked 12 of Seniors at the Marriott in Lisbon at 9amon November 1, 2025. They drove us to many great sights.
First, the LISBOA sign in the park. Great picture taking.
Next, the Torre de Belem, statute, and a shopping area.
Next, to the Monument to the Discoveries. Gigantic statutes on the waterfront.
Next, to Pasteis de Belem. This bakery was crowded. Paulo was able to get us inside the bakery. We watched a woman thru a glass window preparing the pastries. Then Paulo took us outside and showed us how to eat this delicacy the traditional way. We went back inside and purchased more delicious pastries. Then went shopping at the Next Door Shop.
Next, we drove to Barrio Alto, for shopping and a viewpoint of the city.
Next, Miradouro de Sao Pedro de Alcantara. Another spectacular viewpoint of the city. We saw the Virgin Mary enclosed in a glass case.
Paulo and Ana spent well over our four hour tour with us. They were both very friendly and knowledgeable and should be recognized as great assets to the Swingo Tour Company.
Ana even found a members picture box (camera) and returned it to the hotel. We then received a phone call from the Company. We really appreciate what Ana did!!!!!!

We were fortunate to have Paulo as our driver. I made the mistake of booking him in a Monday when all the historic sites museums are closed…but Paulo gave us experiences and shared with us best practices when we do visit the sites. The time flew and we had a great day and really felt we got to see parts of Lisbon that we wouldn’t have seen had everything been open. We highly recommend.

We had only one day to see Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais. We were assigned the perfect person,

The car for 4 people was way too small. This was supposed to be a luxury car for 6 hours. It was a sub standard car that we barely got through 2 hrs. Of that 2 hrs, we spent at least 45 minutes trying to decide whether we should go or not. We tried to make the best of a bad situation. We could not.

It was a wonderful experience, I am glad we chose the option of a private driver. Our driver was Miguel and he was extremely knowledgeable and shared his childhood/adulthood experiences with us. We could not have imagined a more perfect day or a better guide than our tour of Lisbon with Paolo! We booked a 12 hour tour on our first day in Lisbon and totally lucked out getting Paolo as our guide. He filled every minute of our long, delightful day with his charming personality, incredible knowledge of the history of Portugal, and obvious passion for his city and country. We could not believe how much of the city’s highlights we were able to cover in just one day! Paolo went above and beyond by being super attentive to my 87 year old mom and assisting her at every stop. He tailored our tour to our preferences, waited patiently for us at each site we visited, and helped us navigate entries to crowded tourist attractions. We wrapped up our day with a wonderful dinner at a fabulous Portuguese restaurant he recommended. Paolo made our introduction to Lisbon memorable and wonderful. He deserves more than 5 stars and I recommend him highly!!!

Jose was the best! Our six hour tour with him was amazing. His knowledge of the city and of the history was delightful, educational and particularly interesting to this history buff. I had a broken kneecap and his special care helping me get in and out of the car as well as storing my walker was greatly appreciated. his kind, gentle voice was soothing, and he made sure we tasted the best the city had to offer in pastries! He was also an excellent photographer. He made all of us wish that this one day visit to Lisbon was longer. He even taught us to say thank you in Portuguese! …. so a big Obrigada to you, Jose!
