Wonderful show, super informative and the music was beautiful. Almost made me cry. Went with my grandma who has limited mobility and they were very sweet and helpful to her.

We learned so much about the history and traditions of Fado, which made the performance even more meaningful. The owner and singer was incredibly kind, welcoming, and truly talented. You could feel the passion and emotion in every song.
It was an authentic and memorable experience that gave us a deeper appreciation for Portuguese culture. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Portugal and looking for a special evening.

A magical blend of learning the history of fado, listening to beautiful performances by the guitarists and singers and joining in a fun sing-along. The glass of port to start was a treat - we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it was a very fun introduction to Lisbon on our first day in the city.

Took my family to see this Fado and we all loved it. We learned the history of Fado and were moved by the music. The setting felt intimate and personal and the 12 string guitar has inspired my son to learn it. Would highly recommend!!

My family and I truly had such a wonderful time during this Fado experience. The ambiance was wonderful, the wine was delicious and the performers were extremely talented! We especially enjoyed also being able to learn about the history of Fado and different types of this music alongside listening to the stellar live music. I’ve been to flamenco and other shows like this and haven’t had this kind of experience before. I would highly recommend!

Excellent intro to traditional Fado. Mario is entertaining and informative! Beautiful singing by him and the female artist (I didn’t catch her name), as well as a talented performance on a 12 string Portuguese by the guitarist. Highly recommend!

It was a really great experience! The venue is marvelous. The owner greets us and we had a welcome drink in the bar which looks really amazing. The fado show was awesome, voices and guitars were full with powerful deep emotions. What made the evening even more special was the educational aspect: the show offered clear, engaging insights into the history and meaning of fado.

Awesome experience. Very intimate, but they envelope you Like family and share their love for the music and culture. We booked on a spur from another tour suggestion and it was worth it. We had an 11yr old and 7yr old and they were enraptured but the music. It was a lovely hour spent learning, experiencing and engaging with this cultural gem.

We had a lovely time at the Fado show. It was just the right length.
The host explained alot about the genre and sang examples to help us better understand what it was all about. At the end of the show, the audience joined in on singing a Fado song using the words "la la la la la" and it was nice to join in. The bar in front of the show space is modern and nice and the glass of port was very good.

From the music to the way things were explained and told, the show exceeded our expectations. Hard to believe they've only been in operation for less than a year. Highly recommend this show if youre staying in Alfama, or if youre checking out the area during the day, stop by after and sample some wine and enjoy what the artists have to offer.

Very small venue with authentic Fado. Musical talent was excellent. His knowledge and love of Fado is evident and he expresses his lifelong passion for the art. The female singer was powerful! It seems to be a family performing. There is a bar before the show to bring your drinks but no food. The show was only about an hour and was fabulous. Well worth going to this one!

It was a moving experience from very warm and talented hosts. We didn’t just get a show but a brief lesson of the history of Fado as well.
Make sure you get there a little bit early to enjoy the drinks and to soak up the vibes.
