Awesome experience. Very intimate, but they envelope you Like family and share their love for the music and culture. We booked on a spur from another tour suggestion and it was worth it. We had an 11yr old and 7yr old and they were enraptured but the music. It was a lovely hour spent learning, experiencing and engaging with this cultural gem.

It was a really great experience! The venue is marvelous. The owner greets us and we had a welcome drink in the bar which looks really amazing. The fado show was awesome, voices and guitars were full with powerful deep emotions. What made the evening even more special was the educational aspect: the show offered clear, engaging insights into the history and meaning of fado.

Educational and Entertaining Fado show in Alfama

We had a lovely time at the Fado show. It was just the right length. The host explained alot about the genre and sang examples to help us better understand what it was all about. At the end of the show, the audience joined in on singing a Fado song using the words "la la la la la" and it was nice to join in. The bar in front of the show space is modern and nice and the glass of port was very good.

From the music to the way things were explained and told, the show exceeded our expectations. Hard to believe they've only been in operation for less than a year. Highly recommend this show if youre staying in Alfama, or if youre checking out the area during the day, stop by after and sample some wine and enjoy what the artists have to offer.

Very small venue with authentic Fado. Musical talent was excellent. His knowledge and love of Fado is evident and he expresses his lifelong passion for the art. The female singer was powerful! It seems to be a family performing. There is a bar before the show to bring your drinks but no food. The show was only about an hour and was fabulous. Well worth going to this one!
