Awesome experience with our guide Ruk

We had to cancel a more active tour because of an injury and instead booked the 4 hour private tuk tuk tour. Ruk met us at our hotel in downtown Lisbon (even though I incorrectly identified our hotel in the booking) and was very considerate of our comfort right from the start. We were thoroughly entertained and impressed by his knowledge and how he navigated the route. Driving around Lisbon is not for the faint of heart. We learned so many interesting facts about the history of the city. He introduced us to a delicious custard tart and ensured we had photo opportunities at many of the magnificent sites in this beautiful city. I will remember this tour fondly It capped off our first but hopefully not last visit to Portgal perfectly.

Filipe was awesome! He brings a lot of energy and knows his stuff cold. Very engaging and is very interesting with all his knowledge. He was born and raised in Lisbon but has worked and traveled the world. The tour is amazing and Filipe extended our tour by a couple of hours which enabled us to see more beautiful areas. We stopped for a terrific lunch at 3 Gomes. We asked Filipe to join us and grateful he did. We got a chance to get to know Filipe and enjoyed our conversation. The van was very comfortable. He certainly knows his way around Sintra and Penta as well as the Atlantic coast. We got a lot of pictures. Also, Filipe took 50 plus pictures and forwarded them to us. I can’t say enough and he made the day most remarkable and easy. A must do tour with him when visiting Lisbon. You will not regret it!!

Great tour with the best guide!

My husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour in early May. Our tour guide. Miguel, is a local and was very knowledgeable about the area and its history, and gave us plenty of interesting information about places visited. The day was well-organised so that we were able to visit Sintra old town, Pena Palace, Quinta de Regaleira, Cabo da Roca and Cascais without feeling rushed. I had some mobility issues at that time and I appreciated Miguel’s thoughtulness and assistance getting in and out of the car, and making sure I was comfortable throughout. When he learned that we were heading for Porto the next day, he even sent us a personalised list of spots to check out, which we found very helpful. I highly recommend this tour and Miguel as a guide.

Our guide, Jose, was very knowledgeable about the history of the city. He used the time we had to visit most of the stops on our list, always being concerned with the comfort of each person in the group. José spoke English very well and we had no difficulty understanding him. All of us in the group enjoyed chatting with him and learning about the city. The vehicle was crowded with 8 passengers and there was no wi-fi as advertised but its absence was not missed.
