To visit Sintra proper you want a guide. Several ways to go wrong without someone who knows the deal. Castles with entrance times you’ll miss without skip the line tix, taxing hikes without shuttle transfers you thought were included, and all kinds of deeper understanding you’ll miss out on. Medi is the guide you want. He’s an engineer with a Masters in History to boot. We learned so much from his inexhaustible knowledge of the country and beyond (spoiler: the Kinghts Templar figure heavily in Portuguese history). Medi is a man. Love that guy, loved the tour of Sintra.

We enjoyed our Tuk-Tuk tour of Lisbon very much thanks to our fantastic tour guide Victor. Victor provided a great deal of information about Lisbon while safely transporting us around town. He made our time most enjoyable! Be prepared for a bumpy ride, but Victor navigated the streets and carefully dodged rough road conditions. Our 2 hour trip helped to give us a good overview of the city and areas/sights to go back and see. Highly recommend!

Tiago was a great guide....

Tiago was a great guide. He's knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a good experience. We explored several different neighborhoods and he shared interesting insights into Lisbon's history, culture, and landmarks. The tuk tuk can access places that larger tour buses and cars can't and navigates the hills and narrow streets. It gave us a much better feel for Lisbon than we would have gotten on our own. We covered far more of the city than we ever could have by walking. It's a great way to experience the city!
