Alex was a perfect tour guide -- interesting, knowledgable, accommodating, punctual, organized and gracious. He was familiar with every inch we covered, and kept our small group on pace with multiple stops. He ensured everyone's comfort, secured extra tickets for us at a sold-out stop, and was prepared to adjust the itinerary as necessary. Skip the line Peña palace with Paulo

We had a delightful time exploring Sintra specifically Peña Palace with Paulo. We had skip the line passes which made the whole experience more enjoyable as he knew every short cut and bypassed many lines. Paulo has extensive local knowledge which added a lot of flavor to the experience. He knew right where to park and gave great tips so we could save some steps and find the best pastries. Because it was very foggy for the western most point, not his fault, and very busy in Caiscais, iron man race on our day, also not his fault, Paulo showed us little Versailles. Beautiful and very thoughtful on his part. We will definitely be back. Thanks for an amazing day.

Great tour- definitely recommended!!!!

Raphael was our guide, and he was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The tour was great, and you get to see a lot in just one day! It covers Fátima, Batalha, Nazaré, and Óbidos. My only suggestion would be to either make the tour two hours longer—which might be a bit much for most people—or eliminate one stop so there’s more time to explore Óbidos or Nazaré. We were a group of four, including my 72-year-old mother, who has hip issues, so it took us a little longer to walk around and explore each place. Raphael was very understanding and accommodating throughout the entire tour, though, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Lisbon highlights

This half day personalized tour met our needs very well. We wanted to see major sights in Lisbon that were outside of walking range and to get a general perspective of the city. Claudia our driver/guide picked us up in a Mercedes van at our apartment and she was extremely polite, personable and provided history and commentary along the way. She adjusted our route based upon our interests and also navigated to avoid road closures and traffic due to a marathon being run.

Convenient 2 hour Tour for Family of 4

We had some confusion on the pick up point but once we found our driver/Tuk Tuk, everything went smoothly on our two hour customizable tour. We saw the key sights and afterward my wife and daughters were dropped off in the shopping district to spend more time there while our driver brought me back to the hotel. Best use of two ours to get a quick overview of key parts of Lisbon, including the old town areas.

Great informative and entertaining tour with Chiara

We have visited Lisbon several times over the last 35 years and this is the first time we booked a tour. It was well worth it. One misses out a lot by wandering around a city, which used to be our previous preferred option. Chiara was very knowledgeable and an excellent and entertaining raconteur. Perfect evening!

An excellent evening with Padro. Our family of 5 met (kids 17, 13, and 13) had no problem meeting up with him. He was funny, knowledgeable and knew amazing spots for our 6 food stops. One of us was allergic to shellfish and we had a picky kid however this did not hinder the experience! This was our first day in Lisbon and was a great way to start our trip!

Great day in the countryside, exploring wine and history!

This was a private tour that met all expectations. Two unique and different wineries plus a tasting at a spot in one of the rows that gave a great variety. John very knowledgeable and hospitable. The snack plate at the 2nd winery was enough to satisfy with local meats and cheeses plus great wines. If you are looking for some time outside of Lisbon this is a great day with very personal attention. Appreciated all John’s efforts, he was a great guide! Wines were lovely!
