Getting to Know Lisbon

My tuk-tuk tour of Lisbon was an excellent way to get to know the city thanks to our guide, Nadia. The tour was personal, relaxed, and engaging from the very beginning, making it far more enjoyable than a typical sightseeing experience. Nadia's English was excellent, but even more impressive was her depth of knowledge about Lisbon's history, culture, and people. She had a remarkable ability to move seamlessly between historical events, architectural landmarks, local traditions, and modern-day life in Portugal. Whether we were driving through a historic neighborhood, stopping at a scenic viewpoint, or discussing contemporary Portuguese culture, the transitions felt natural and conversational rather than scripted. Half Day Sintra Tour with Filipe

Filipe was awesome! He brings a lot of energy and knows his stuff cold. Very engaging and is very interesting with all his knowledge. He was born and raised in Lisbon but has worked and traveled the world. The tour is amazing and Filipe extended our tour by a couple of hours which enabled us to see more beautiful areas. We stopped for a terrific lunch at 3 Gomes. We asked Filipe to join us and grateful he did. We got a chance to get to know Filipe and enjoyed our conversation. The van was very comfortable. He certainly knows his way around Sintra and Penta as well as the Atlantic coast. We got a lot of pictures. Also, Filipe took 50 plus pictures and forwarded them to us. I can’t say enough and he made the day most remarkable and easy. A must do tour with him when visiting Lisbon. You will not regret it!!

Ricarlo was by far the best tour guide I have had even after visiting several countries. My friends and I learned so much from him and had an absolute blast. Great tour with the best guide!

My husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour in early May. Our tour guide. Miguel, is a local and was very knowledgeable about the area and its history, and gave us plenty of interesting information about places visited. The day was well-organised so that we were able to visit Sintra old town, Pena Palace, Quinta de Regaleira, Cabo da Roca and Cascais without feeling rushed. I had some mobility issues at that time and I appreciated Miguel’s thoughtulness and assistance getting in and out of the car, and making sure I was comfortable throughout. When he learned that we were heading for Porto the next day, he even sent us a personalised list of spots to check out, which we found very helpful. I highly recommend this tour and Miguel as a guide.

Lisbon in a Day

Our guide, Jose, was very knowledgeable about the history of the city. He used the time we had to visit most of the stops on our list, always being concerned with the comfort of each person in the group. José spoke English very well and we had no difficulty understanding him. All of us in the group enjoyed chatting with him and learning about the city. The vehicle was crowded with 8 passengers and there was no wi-fi as advertised but its absence was not missed. I would recommend this tour operator and Jose to anyone looking for an enjoyable day in Lisbon.

Amazing tour

This was an amazing tour from start to finish. Diogo was a wonderful guide. He was friendly funny and so knowledgeable. We learnt so much in a short time. We had free time to explore Sintra before doing a tour of Quinta da Regaleira. Then to Cascais for time to explore and have some lunch at the beach. We then went to the Pena Palace. What amazing architecture that started from the 16th century.
