Incredibile day in Cascais and Sintra

We traveled with our family, including 3 teenagers and had a wonderful day. We spent some time initially in Cascais, which shouldn't be missed. After that, our guide Ricardo essentially gave us a VIP tour through The National Palace of Pena where he knew the detailed history of everything, along with knowing everyone that works there. Daniela was timely, professional, and respectful to everyone—whether you are very religious or not at all. She guided us smoothly into the restaurant and then gave us space to enjoy lunch on our own, which we really appreciated. The van was clean and comfortable, and she thoughtfully provided chairs for us to sit in during Mass in the square. The information shared throughout the tour was truly priceless, and it was such a relief not having to worry about how to get from one site to the next. Take this tour—you won’t regret it. She gives this special experience the respect and level of excellence it deserves.

Greatest Tour of my trip!

The experience was fantastic!!! My guide was Catia and she was “Superb”,she talked to me for the first few minutes to get an idea of what type of tour I wanted and she tailored to my personal interest, most importantly she was very caring and patient with me, she was an excellent Tuk Tuk driver so I felt safe and very educated based on her wonderful knowledge of the history of Portugal. Amazing Day!!

We had an amazing trip with Igor! He catered to every need and question we had, was an excellent conversationalist and of course, had just the right amount of information/history to provide as I was traveling with my son. Music, passion, and culture

A great evening filled with music and culture! Two singers, one male and one female team with classical guitarist and Portuguese guitarist entertain in an on-stage performance with a club-like setting for about an hour. There is a visual experience with video of Lisbon as well. The performances are passionate, and the singers invite the audience to sing along at times. You will enjoy this!

Incredible Tour. Like Stepping Into the Past!

This tour was absolutely outstanding! We explored so much, and our guide, Rodrigo C., made the entire experience unforgettable. His knowledge of the Knights Templar was fascinating and he brought history to life in a way that truly felt like interacting with the past. The boat ride to Castelo de Almourol was amazing, and throughout the day Rodrigo was incredibly observant, patient, and considerate. He and his colleagues made sure everyone in the group was comfortable and taken care of. Excellent driver as well. More guides should be like him! The pacing of the tour was perfect, giving us plenty of time to savor each moment. Despite the changing weather, we adapted easily and never missed a thing. We saw so much. An extensive, immersive experience from start to finish. Highly recommend Cool Tours. This is our second tour with the company and we definitely want to explore more!

BEAUTIFUL site. If you’re looking for “off the beaten path” this is for you!! Our guide Nuno was very informative and knowledgeable about the history of the area. It’s a gorgeous little surprise of an island and not very crowded. What they do NOT tell you is the hike is quite steep so quite challenging (our guide Nino was great and did stop often) so you have to be moderately fit. The glass bottom tour was AMAZING but a bit short wish we could spend more time out in the water. The caves are gorgeous. There is a little beach but the water is a bit cold. GOURGOUS ISLAND with crystal clear blue green water

Sinatra with Nounou

Sinatra and Pena Palace are lovely even if over popular leading to unavoidable road delays. Company is everything and the fact we were in a group of 6 made it extra special. Nounou was very informative and a passionate patriot. His knowledge was impressive and brought the tour to life. The walking isn’t for the faint hearted so please consider this to be fair to your fellow travellers. We were fortunate but I can imagine how the trip would have been negative had we not been able to move at the pace we did. It’s a long day so make sure you have plenty to drink and maybe a snack as we didn’t get to stop for lunch until around 4pm. There are facilities at Pena but we had the preferred option of going back to Sinatra where the recommended restaurant was excellent.

Great Value & Fun Experience on my Lisbon Holiday

Very impressed with the whole package. The Price was great and good value. Joining instructions were clear and I felt it was well paced and never felt rushed. The guides I had, Ana (Day 1) & Nuno (Day 2) were very helpful, engaging and friendly. Highly recommended! My personal highlight was Nazare on Day 2. I had to rush to get to the Lighthouse and back again, but that was my choice as its not on the itinerary. I have done many of these types of daytrips over the years through various companies and this is one of the better ones
