We spent an afternoon with Gonçalo and it was the hightlight of our trip. His good vibes, laid-back attitude and extensive knowledge makes him an exceptional tour guide. We didn’t feel like tourists - instead we felt like we were hanging out with our friend that was showing us his country with pride and honour. I can’t recommend him enough!

This was a fun tour with Gonçalo. He brought us to many historic sites, and was knowledgeable about the history, and shared it in a fun way. One note of caution for all Tuk Tuk tours, this is a very bumpy ride, and the streets are all cobblestone, so be prepared. If you’re considering Tuk Tuk, I would recommend this company.

We had a wonderful tuk tuk tour of historic Lisbon. Our driver was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts about the city’s history, culture, and landmarks throughout the ride. She made thoughtful stops along the way, giving us time to take photos and pointing out small details we definitely would have missed on our own.
What really stood out was how friendly and personable she was—she made the whole experience feel relaxed, engaging, and tailored to us. It was a fantastic way to explore Lisbon, especially for getting a great overview. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

Jose, the tuk tuk tour guide with Chico Chico tours gave a wonderful, thorough tuk tuk tour around the beautiful city of Lisbon. He was thoughtful and eloquent and gave detailed history of Portugal and the sights of Lisbon. He took us to numerous sights including look out spots and beautiful churches. We never would have gotten to all these places on our own. Jose is very passionate about what he does and it shows on this tour. Highly recommend.

We were picked up on a rainy day by Pedro - he had new covering on his tuk and therefore we did have good visibility throughout the tour. We did a 4 hour tour of the old town and then the Belem area. Pedro was friendly and knowledgeable.

We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few important points.
Our tour page clearly states that this activity is not recommended for people with back problems or for those over 80 years old, due to the naturally uneven streets and bumpy roads in the Alfama district. Unfortunately, we were not informed in advance that there was a 90-year-old guest in your group, which would have allowed us to suggest a more comfortable itinerary.
Please note that all electric tuk-tuks in Lisbon follow the same model, and our vehicles are regularly maintained and kept in excellent condition. During your tour, our guide did their best to adapt to your group’s needs and even proposed an alternative route through the flat, paved area of Belém to ensure a smoother ride — but this suggestion was declined.
We always strive to offer a pleasant and safe experience for all our guests, and we regret that, despite our efforts, this was not achieved on this occasion.

Wonderful tour. Worth it to include the old town for a full four hour tour. Ze’ was an amazing guide, full of local historical facts and cultural stories. His warmth and genuine interest made the tour even better. His English was excellent and easy to understand. My mom is elderly and this was a perfect way to get an overview of the city with several stops, without being limited by the cobblestones and hills. Highly recommend!

Travelling by tuk tuk is the best way to get around the streets of Lisbon. We were taken to places you couldn't easily access by car and high scenic viewpoints that would be quite demanding and time consuming by foot! Our guide even stopped to buy us a pastel de nata and drink from his favourite food van. Yum

Jose Pedroso was our tour guide with Chico Chico Tours - our TukTuk tour of old town Lisbon. Jose was marvelous. His English was extraordinary as was his knowledge of his city and country. He shared some traditional Portuguese music, Fado style, as we moved from stop to stop. Would highly recommend this tour and Jose in particular as a guide.

Was wonderful. Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. Tuk Tuk made the hills, winding roads, cobblestones streets, and summer traffic easy to manage. We would have missed many interesting and beautiful sites otherwise.

We really enjoyed our Lisbon tour by Tuk Tuk and highly recommend it to first time visitors, especially with Chico Chico Tours. Francisco was an excellent tour guide. He was very friendly and patient with our Mom who has some slight mobility issues. The convenience of hotel pick up and drop off was also a big plus for us when selecting our tour.

Company Never appeared. Wrote to me 16 minutes after the tour was to begin to say they could not pick us up at our hotel. Company did apologise and said they would submit a full refund.
