Horrible!! Use the red bus

I thought I’d booked the red bus. Had to climb uphill to deserted location for first stop. Wait 1 hour for yellow bus at next stop. Although saw multiple red buses stopping and then at the second to last stop. The driver told us next departure was in 20 minutes. Use the red bus. Book directly!

Not great but did get refund

The experience wasn’t great never used the service the bus did not arrive outside the cruise terminal were we expected by the big yellow flag someone from another company said it was over the dual carriage way at another stop so has we crossed the road and the bus ijust departed so waited another hour then gave up but to be fair to Yelliw buses they did refund us so pleased with that

Long Wait Times for Buses

Hard to obtain information re bus. No one seemed to know where it started from. There was no information kiosk or office to get assistance. Several places sold tickets but couldn't help with questions or where to get the bus. The bus doesn't run about every 30 minutes as stated, as we stood an hour awaiting a bus after hopping-off at a stop. Three "Red" buses came by before the "Yellow" bus appeared after an hour wait.

Good Overview of Lisbon's Bellem Area

This Hop-on Hop-off experience provided a great overview of part of Lisbon. Because of the width of the streets, the bus is not able to navigate the very narrow streets of old Lisbon. This is best done on foot or by Tuk Tuk. The commentary on the bus was informative and provided interesting information. It was a bit challenging for our taxi driver to find the initial/central starting point as the address/point has changed. There are also more than one route for this company so it's important to find the correct spot for the route purchased. Overall, a good experience!

It was good to have a tour of part (Belem) of the city. There are times where the audio was out of sync with where the bus actually was. I wish it was more clear that this was only one of the lines available & was expecting all lines were accessible on this ticket.

Picking your preference with this good operator is a must

The bus was clean and the headsets were clear. While the Belem tour through the historical district was good, we should have known that we could not also do the other yellow bus tours on one ticket. Next time I would pick the red bus which has 3 routes included on one ticket to see more of the city.

Get the Red Bus

Difficult to find the nearest stop to our hotel, in fact we could not find stop 2 Marques de Pompal and ended up walking for 20 minutes to the top of the Park at stop 4 or maybe 5. On the Sunday we we caught this bus it was jam packed and people were standing in the aisle which suggests they do not have enough buses. I have been on hop on/off buses in many cities and this is definitely the most boring as is the commentary which is mainly dreadful music.

Lucky if audio jack produces sound

A great overview of the city, supposed to be narrated, but many of the audio connections did not work at all. People were hopping seat to seat to find one they could listen to, and several people never heard a word. If you plan to take photos, sit on top level away from the windows. The route was beautiful, and friends needed a rest from walking, so it worked for us.

As mentioned in many of the reviews the busses aren't that punctual. Moreover it's very poor value for money as well since the places covered aren't that much. It's better to take public transport and do the same thing for 60 percent cheaper. Wouldn't recommend it.

Couldn’t get on bus and never able to redeem voucher.

Memorable, in a negative way, was trying to get on the bus with a Viator voucher that the driver was never able to read or convert to a ticket. See attached photo.

Use Red Sightseeing buses. Yellow stops were 30 minute wait. Couldn’t find the Tram stations. Wouldn’t recommend.

Do not choose this bus service at this point. Pick the red Hop-on, Hop-off service.

We waited for a bus for over an hour at the cruise terminal, right under the yellow flag bearing their name and a picture of the bus, which most people would interpret as the correct spot to wait. I was monitoring bus activity on the app, which kept changing the arrival time (first 10 minutes, then 20 minutes, etc.). Finally after more than an hour, a bus stops across the street from the terminal. We were unable to make that one given the distance we had to walk. Waited again for another bus but finally gave up and grabbed a TukTuk since our time was running out at the port.
