Itinerary
After meeting your guide and small group in central Lisbon, set out on the scenic journey to Arrabida. Admire the spectacular views along the Tagus River as you pass over the Portuguese Golden Gate Bridge, then continue south, watching as the urban landscape gives way to rolling hills and lush vineyards.
Stop in Azeitão to learn about tile-making at a local factory. See how traditional tiles are made and the rich history behind the decorative building materials. Drive through the idyllic landscapes of the Arrabida Natural Park, stopping to take in the views of the Arrabida Mountain, the convent, and the sandy beaches along the coast.
Then, stop at the first of two family-owned vineyards for a guided wine tasting paired with local snacks. Continue to the coast to explore the lively fishing town of Sesimbra, where you’ll have time to stroll the scenic beachside promenade, take in the views, and enjoy lunch (own expense) at one of the renowned fish restaurants.
After lunch, head to another family-owned vineyard nestled in the foothills of the mighty Arrabida Mountain. After indulging in the final wine tasting of the day, travel back to Lisbon, stopping at the Christ the King Statue and Sanctuary, before ending the tour back in Lisbon.

One of the best tours I have ever been on. Tanya was amazing! So knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The wine tastings were informative and fun. Was able to take loads of pictures of beautiful vistas. Tile factory and lunch stop were also excellent. Was with a great group of people. I would highly recommend.

I feel the itinerary was a little misleading, sounds like you do more than you actually do. It mentions that you're at the California beach for 1 hour 30 minutes and then you're also at Sesimbra for 1 hour 30 minutes. You're actually at both the California beach and Sesimbra for 1 hour and 30 minutes total. Didn't go in the Fort which is listed. By the time we had lunch in Sesimbra, there was not time to do anything else. Would like to have had more time there. The wine tasting was was good and at a wonderful place, but could've used a few more snacks.
Our guide was wonderful and spoke really good English. Very informative. The views along the way were amazing so it was great to see another part of Portugal.

Fabulous day out. Lots of off the beaten track sightseeing plus of course the wine tasting. Lilly our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Air conditioned vehicle and just the right amount of time at each stop. Views to die for and wonderful recommended lunch. Would definitely recommend this tour and Lilly !

Our tour guide from Lisbon Riders, Lilian (also known as Lilly), was fantastic. She made the experience enjoyable by sharing interesting facts about Portugal's history, telling fun anecdotes, and providing us with excellent wine. Lilly took us to beautiful vantage points for photo opportunities and recommended great places for lunch. This tour is definitely worth considering for first-time visitors to Lisbon.
The best part was that Lilly genuinely wanted us to have an amazing experience. She never rushed us and ensured that everyone in the tour group was happy. Along the way, she shared some great jokes, making the tour even more enjoyable. Lilly is a truly fun and outstanding tour guide.

This was one of the best tours we have ever done. Carolina, our tour guide, was the best guide we have ever had when traveling. The tour was only 6 people which was nice and small so we could have a more personalized experience. Carolina was incredibly informative about everything we did throughout the day with history and knowledge of just about everything. Truly passionate about her country and excited to share it with others. She had many recommendations for the rest of our time here in Portugal of where to visit, what to do, and where to eat. Despite it being an incredibly hot day, it was a relaxing enjoyable day with many beautiful view points, a beachside town, the beautiful natural park, and ending in a great wine tour where we got to bring some bottles home to enjoy. Can’t recommend this tour enough with Carolina as your guide!

This was an historical adventure! Our guide, Tania shared the most wonderful historic facts, legends and stories with us. The castles, churches and villages were spectacular. The views were indescribably beautiful. We travelled on narrow, winding hilly roads and felt safe in Tania’s care. She made special stops to make sure we saw every incredible view possible and even knew the best poses for pictures. My favorite stop was Sesimbra- so rich with culture and beauty! The Alcube family vineyard was the perfect ending. Tania’s knowledge of the wines was very enlightening. Her personality made every moment special. Thank you for giving us this incredible experience!

We loved the scenic drives along the coast and the stops on this tour. Unfortunately, due to storm damage, we were unable to go inside the castle, but enjoyed the tour nonetheless. Our tour guide, Lily, did a good job explaining Portuguese history. We loved ending the day with (plenty of) wine.

Lilly was a lovely guide for our day trip to Sesimbra. We were the only ones on this tour but she didn't cut corners at all. She was attentive, informative and an excellent guide. This trip is well worth the money - this is some of the most beautiful land and water we've ever seen!

Our tour guides (Catarina and Carolina) were 10/10! So kind, flexible and knowledgeable about Portugal history, attractions, food/activity recommendations, etc. It was a relaxing day of sight seeing, lunch in Sesimbra and ended with a winery stop (Quinta de Alcube).

Had the best time on this day tour to Sesimbra and the winery. Unfortunately the time spent in Sesimbra seemed rushed but that was only because the restaurant we chose took so long to serve us. We were warned about this. Your was fantastic and had a great mix and group of travelers especially for someone like me who was travelling single.

They didn't cancel the tour even though I was the only participant. So basically I had a private tour guide all day! Carolina was very friendly and knowledgeable and taught me a lot about Portuguese history and culture. The tour itself was great, a bit of the beaten track as advertised with spectacular nature and amazing views. The winery was small but nice, no tour of the production facility but we walked around the vines and I got to taste four different wines. A perfect day!

Caroline(English name) was a fantastic guide/driver. We had a lovely little group that she included everyone in conversation. Unfortunately the weather was not the best but it did not spoil the day. Still enjoyed the scenery, lunch, towns and winery. Highly recommend it.
