What are people saying about Boston

Many thanks Mark!
Mark was well prepared, thorough, engaging, and included stops along the trail, and historical notes and vignettes along the trail above the usual, “standard” tour. He thoughtfully provided water and sunblock, and provided an excellent tour and great value (without the goofy period dress outfit) 😊

More Theatrical than historical
We enjoyed the tour, however it felt more theatrical and even a little comical rather than historical and informational. There was historic information but for the 2+ hour tour it felt too performative. We went back and did a self guided walking tour that provided more information later that evening.

Book now! Saba is wonderful!
We had such a great experience on the Boston Architecture, History + Photo Walking Tour—this was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Saba, was incredibly informative, engaging, and thoughtful throughout the entire tour. What really stood out was how attentive she was to our interests. Based on a conversation we had during the walk, she even took us to see an additional statue that wasn’t originally on the route, which made the experience feel very personalized. Her knowledge of Boston’s architecture—especially in the Back Bay and Beacon Hill areas—was impressive. She shared so many fun facts and historical insights that brought the buildings and streets to life in a way we wouldn’t have experienced on our own. It never felt like a scripted tour; it felt like walking through the city with someone who genuinely loves and understands it. If you’re looking for a tour that blends history, architecture, and great storytelling (with plenty of photo-worthy spots), I highly recommend this one—especially if you get Saba as your guide!

Boston food tour with Nabil
Nabil was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable, easy to talk with and ask questions, and considerate of the severe weather conditions we were facing (very cold with high winds). The food was great! The history learned was fantastic. Definitely recommend to anyone traveling to or around Boston.

Boston and history go hand-in-hand, and there’s no better way to learn all about both than on Boston historical tours. While many focus on the 16-stop Freedom Trail, which traces the city’s history (particularly during the American Revolution), some add in other historic neighborhoods like the North End and Beacon Hill. You can choose to have a guide in period costume, and some tours also have food and drink components. There is even a narrated cruise along the harbor that recounts the waterfront city’s long history, as it passes the USS Constitution and the site of the Boston Tea Party.
