Your guide will be at the Sam Adams Statue on the Congress Street side of Faneuil Hall. The 20 foot tall statue features Sam Adams on a pedestal with his arms crossed. Your guide will be holding a sign reading "Boston Crawling." Please arrive at least 5 minutes early with an ID.

We came to this area for a girl’s trip! Two tours in Salem, one in Boston, by far, this was the BEST TOUR we took this entire trip! Julie was the best! So knowledgeable and funny!! We loved it!!! Take her tour!!!

Its a "brew" tour, but there's a "dry" option which means you pick and pay for your own drink, perfect option for us. We chose Cider, Irish Coffee, Mules and a punch. Autumn is a wonderful, fun and informative host. Her historical information is engaging and entertaining!

We really enjoyed the Freedom Trail Pub Tour. Ariel was a fantastic guide with great energy and stories. Other than the one bar that served warm beer, the pubs, and beer recommendations from Ariel, were very good!

A lot of fun, our guide Anna was very engaging and knowledgeable. The tour didn't involve a lot of walking, but it made up for it in beers and history! Would highly recommended.

The description of the tour was, “The Freedom Trail with stops of a couple of historic pubs along the way.” You don’t see the historic part of the pub because we were led into a separate room with no character. The Freedom Trail is completely absent from the tour. The pubs were all next to one another. I really disappointed my family. Fortunately, we have time to walk the Freedom Trail ourselves today. The tour guide could not have peppered her talks with more expletives and meaningless antidotes about our history if she tried. I still gave her a good tip. Perhaps she was not trained, so she could write her script- not her fault I guess.

Thank you for crawling with us. Our goal is always to ensure that each guest has a 5-star time and I'm sorry we fell short of this. We always welcome all feedback. However, I believe you may have been reading the description of a different company. The wording you provided ("The Freedom Trail with stops of a couple of historic pubs along the way") is not found on our listing. And we do make sure that guests are aware that the total walking is only 2 blocks in our Overview section of our listing ("You'll visit historic and unique bars along The Freedom Trail. All of the bars are located within two blocks of each other in the Faneuil Hall section of The Freedom Trail.").
And all four of our bars are located on the Freedom Trail as we walk along the iconic double brick line to enter each bar.
We keep our stops close together so that guests of all physical capabilities can enjoy the tour.

The overall experience was fun. Our guide Maddie had a good sense of humor and history. Beer was good and made new friends. The only downside was that we only covered 2 blocks of the Freedom Trail.

Fun way to learn some history and taste some good beer! Don’t expect to see all of the Freedom Trail sights, but no one cared.
