We really enjoyed our tour!! Claire was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions; she was also very accommodating to our needs which we very much appreciated! The food was delicious and we really enjoyed going to places we wouldn’t typically know to go to, hidden local gems. We loved hearing the history of the north end and Boston in general. Highly recommend!

Olivia gave a fantastic tour. We learned a bit of history and ate some fantastic food. Highly recommend!

Great tour!

Jill_L, Aug 2026
First time to Boston this past July. We heard the North End had an iconic food scene, and we were so happy to have Nabil guide us around to some great spots. He was a friendly, knowledgeable, funny, entertaining guide who put his group's needs first. We had plenty to eat and got a great taste of the North End! I'd definitely recommend this tour. The group was small, which was so nice - we saw some large groups doing food tours while in Boston, and I was grateful for the intimate size of our group.

Wonderful North End Experience

A nice walk in historic North End visiting neighborhood gems and sampling delicious foods. Nabil, our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable of its history. Made the small group feel at home.

In Boston and like to eat?? This tour is a must.

JeanPierre_H, Aug 2026
This tour is a no brainer if you like to eat and have some time to kill in Boston! Our guide, Nadil (smart, knowledgeable and very funny) took us to some phenomenal food spots that only the locals in the north end know about. We’d stop and eat somewhere fun (without waiting on any lines) and then visit a historic site just to give our stomachs a brief reprieve. What a fun way to spend half a day! Fair warning: DO NOT EAT BREAKFAST BEFORE THE TOUR!!! Seriously, you need to do this.

Loved this tour!

A Wonderful Experience!

Josephine_H, Jul 2026
We were lucky to do this tour with Lexie, who was absolutely amazing! A native Bostonian and an actual historian, she shared so many facts and anecdotes, it really made the North End come alive for us! It was a rainy and dreary day, but she still made it comfortable for us. All of the food we sampled was delicious - with extremely generous portions, so come hungry! I would absolutely recommend this excellent experience to anyone visiting Boston. Ask for Lexie!

Fun tour!

The tour was extremely enjoyable and interesting. Well planned and the stops along the way were fantastic. Nabil was a great guide.

Waste of money! Don’t do this tour.

Irene_G, Jun 2026
Wrong address made it frustrating. It’s actually 136 not 156. Guide arrived after start time. Food was terrible. I recommend doing the Hop on Hop Off Tour instead of this one. Regina’s Pizza was good at one of the stops.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Dear Irene, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, Irene. We’re sorry to hear that aspects of your tour did not meet your expectations. We’ve reviewed your feedback regarding the meeting point with our local team, who have confirmed that the correct meeting location remains 156 Blackstone Street. We also appreciate you highlighting your concerns regarding the delayed start, the food, and the overall experience. Your feedback has been shared with our local team so it can be considered as part of their ongoing review of this tour.

Fabulous Food Tour with History

In celebration of a friend‘s birthday, we signed up to take the tour, not knowing about the food or what everything would be. We were more than pleasantly surprised with food and the tour guides knowledge.Nadil was knowledgeable, friendly, polite, and very resourceful when accommodating my gluten allergy. We had a wonderful time. Since the weather cooperated as well, give it a 5+ stars.

An Afternoon of Deliciousness

Cathy_H, May 2026
I would highly recommend this tour! One suggestion: arrive hungry because there is a lot of amazing food along the way. We started by sampling fresh-baked bread tucked away in an unmarked alley, and it was absolutely delicious. Next, we enjoyed traditional Italian pizza and fried rice balls at a historic family-operated eatery. After walking off some of the food, we visited the Old North Church and learned fascinating history about Paul Revere. We then stopped for cannolis and coffee at a charming little café — both were fantastic. From there, we passed the Paul Revere House and later enjoyed a balsamic vinegar tasting. While we sampled vinegars, our guide picked up sub sandwiches that we ate in a nearby green space. By the end of the tour, we were completely full and very happy. It was a perfect combination of delicious food, local history, and a fun walking experience.
