Best tour of the Freedom Trail!
This was an incredibly informative and well-paced tour of the Freedom Trail. It starts at the Old State House and ends at the USS Constitution. My 15-year-old thoroughly enjoyed all the history that was presented. Mark is a terrific guide, and I appreciated the inclusion of women's contributions. I highly recommend this tour!

Fabulous guide
Our tour guide was phenomenal (I wish I had remembered her name!—tall slim redhead) She was easy to hear (needed no mic which I appreciated), easy to follow, and her stories kept our attention. The amount of info she shared was amazing, yet it wasn’t overwhelming and we were never bored even though it was a full 2.5 hours. The pace was good even for my mom who has to walk at a slower pace.

Great way to introduce the city to you
The guide we had, Elizabeth, was so welcoming and informative. Great job of making the stories flow and tie into each other. It’s pretty crowded by other groups at every stop but she was easy to hear and understand the entire time. Great way to get a good introduction to the history and city streets.

North End Food Tour
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an excellent food and history tour in Boston’s North End! Nebil was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, striking the perfect balance of fascinating history, funny anecdotes, and delicious food stops that gave us a true taste of the neighborhood’s charm. Every stop felt authentic and thoughtfully chosen. We loved it so much that we even returned to Caffè Vittoria afterward to pick up cannoli shells and cream to share with the rest of the family. At the start of the tour Nebil stated that he tries to have the tour feel like you are walking around with a friend who happens to know a lot about the area. That’s exactly what it was like. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience the real flavor of Boston’s North End!

Boston and history go hand-in-hand, and there’s no better way to learn all about both than on Boston historical tours. While many focus on the 16-stop Freedom Trail, which traces the city’s history (particularly during the American Revolution), some add in other historic neighborhoods like the North End and Beacon Hill. You can choose to have a guide in period costume, and some tours also have food and drink components. There is even a narrated cruise along the harbor that recounts the waterfront city’s long history, as it passes the USS Constitution and the site of the Boston Tea Party.
