Our guide Luke was awesome. He had a great sense of humor, was super personable and made sure to connect with everyone on the tour. I was really impressed that he remembered all of our names and details about where we were from.
Darren was a good speaker and knew his material very well. The lantern he carried was a good touch. Great stories about the area and what goes bump in the night. I would recommend

Darren was our tour guide and was very entertaining. He kept my very skeptical husband interested and I enjoyed it very much. Lots of things I would never have learned about without the tour.

It was a truly enjoyable day! All of the drivers we had were fabulous! I know we had Mrs. Beantown, Lurch, Music and one other driver that started with an S! They were all extremely knowledgeable and funny! Definitely will be taking this again when we revisit Boston!

I had a fantastic experience on the Haunted Boston Ghost Tour! The tour was both entertaining and packed with fascinating information, stories, and history. Zach was an excellent guide — engaging, knowledgeable, and very respectful. He did an amazing job bringing the stories to life and keeping everyone interested throughout the tour.

If you are looking for extreme paranormal stories, this is not that tour. But if you are looking for some ghost stories and a fun way to learn about the history of the area - this one is great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and able to answer questions. He kept it interactive. I would go on another tour with this guide again.

It was a really boring experience in all honesty. The tour guide really needs to work on her story telling skills. At points I was not even listening because it was really hard to understand where to story was going. Also, I wouldn't call this a ghost tour. We talked about two ghosts. Kinda creepy tour? I would not recommend this to anyone.

Our tours do incorporate a significant amount of Boston’s history because the real stories, people, and events of Boston are what provide the context behind its haunted locations. That said, our guides absolutely do share firsthand accounts, and some of the city’s more unsettling verified and researched history along the way. If you are looking for theatrics, jump scares, costumes, and unverified stories, we would highly recommend one of our competitors that pop up every year.
We encourage all of our guides to incorporate their own style into Haunted Boston. What may look different from one person’s perspective does not diminish the knowledge, preparation, or passion they bring to our tour. Zach is a valued member of our team, and we appreciate the unique perspective and dedication he brings to Haunted Boston.

We met our tour guide Harry at the entrance to the cemetery. Right away I knew it was going to be great. He is full of so much trivia and is a great story teller. We learned tons of new things. I see the city and the birth of our nation in a different way.

Nice history lesson of the Boston Commons area involving a few ghost stories and true crime events. Given the amount of history in the region I thought it would be more creepy but it was not boring. Definitely not scary for children. Lasts around 1.5 hours. The guide was friendly and a good storyteller. As with everything else in downtown Boston, expect a lot of walking.

This was by far the best ghost tour I’ve ever been on. It was an actual ghost tour, full of real stories and a lot of history of the city. Our tour guide was incredible and knew a ton of history about the city. He was great to talk to, listen to, and ask questions to. He answered everything and hung out after the tour to swap more ghost stories. There were no weird actors popping out to scare anyone (just real honest stories).

Meeting place was easy to find. Tour started on time. Guide was very friendly and asked the group if they had any questions throughout the tour. It was an ok experience, and gave us something to do while visiting Boston. I’d say it was Ok. Not ghostly or spooky enough.

More of a history tour than ghost. Informative but not scary. The tour guide was nice enough. The entire tour is outside, it would've been nice to go into the Parker house or the other mansion in Beacon Hill.

As for visiting indoor locations such as the Omni Parker House or private Beacon Hill residences, those buildings do not permit access for walking tour groups, but we share the stories connected to them as closely as city guidelines allow.

The tour guide is an impressive storyteller.
Finding the starting location was confusing. The group meets directly across the street from the Emerson address as indicated in the directions.

The guide was friendly and clear, but reading from notes hurt her credibility. The tour was advertised as eerie and gory but was mild—more PG, even G. Great for kids, but disappointing for adults.
