The tour guide Coach is excellent. He is very knowledgeable and thorough with his description of the events at Lexington and Concord. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Dana_H, Aug 2026
Loved it! Coach was great and he knew so much history and interesting facts. I highly recommend this tour if you are remotely interested in our country’s history.
Larry_L, Jul 2026
If you are a history buff, or even just mildly interested in the Revelutionary War, Coach is your man. He provided so much information, in such an enjoyable story telling style, he brought the area to life, and provided so much context to the events detailed in the Freedom Trail walking tour in Boston. History truly comes to life as you drive the path of the evening and day that marked the beginning of the Revolutionary War.
Glen_R, Jul 2026
Wondering experience. Extremely knowledgeable guide. Plenty of time allowed to permit full appreciation of the subject and places. I strongly recommend it.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for your compliment to your tour guide. I'll let "Coach" know that you enjoyed the tour.
Patti_H, Jul 2026
Very detailed tour but not much time to spend in Lexington and Concord. Loved the concord museum and the North Bridge
Sarah_M, Jul 2026
I learned so much and it was a great tour. Lunch stop in Concord was nice and he even dropped me off by a T station at the end of the tour so I could easily head to the airport for my flight out that evening. Thanks!
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for your kind review. I'll let "Coach" know. Safe travels.
John_M, Jul 2026
The Coach was good, he was real good! We toured in a light to medium rain, but he made sure that we saw everything. I had always heard about Lexington and Concord, but now I understand the battles that started the Revolutionary War.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for your great compliment to Coach. I'll let him know.
Lauren_M, Jul 2026
LOTS of information! Well organized and explained though. Covered a lot of history in a good amount of time.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for your compliments on our 250th Birthday Tour; walking in the footsteps of history!
Howard_S, Jul 2026
A great experience with a great guide. Being able to see the actual places that made this ‘Great Experiment’ possible was amazing. Since I taught history, this tour made it all come alive.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
That you for your compliments for our guide. There is nothing quite like walking in the footsteps of history.
Sheila_C, Jun 2026
Amazing experience seeing historical sites. Coach did an excellent job sharing the stories and making the experience memorable.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
I'm glad you enjoyed Coach's presentation and experience learning about the American Revolution 250. I'll let Coach know. Regards.
Sheilah_H, Jun 2026
Enjoyed this very good tour which shows you the locations in Lexington and Concord where the American revolution starts as well as the real stories of those times.
Kristin_P, Jun 2026
Coach is very knowledgeable and engaging. The tour covered both Revolutionary War and literary history.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for your review. I'll pass along your compliment to Coach.
Karen_L, Jun 2026
Our guide “Coach,” was so knowledgeable! Really brought the story alive for us. He was thoughtful, professional, and answered every question! Loved it.
Kimberly_S, Jun 2026
Coach put together an excellent tour telling the story and giving the inside look at what happened between April 18 and 19 starting the war. He was so knowledgeable and did a great job of handling at least one person on the trip who was pretty obnoxious. The museums were great and the information was delivered with passion and love of the material and area. If you’re super into history and want to go on an unrushed trip, this is the one to take.
Steve_P, Jun 2026
This tour goes in depth of the history that took place with Paul Revere and the shots hurt around the world. You get to stand on the actual grounds where this happened and Coach our tour guide was amazing! His detail of what took place made you feel a part of it even though it was 250 years ago. The only thing I would say is I would’ve much rather had a little more time in the museums. But I know there’s only so much time in a day. Thanks for a great tour!
Kate_F, May 2026
His narration was a deep dive into the first events of the American Revolution and he makes you feel you were a part of it. I learned a great deal. Mini bus was comfortable and the stops were the right locations for the right length of time. Highly recommend for history buffs!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for your nice review. I'm glad that you found the tour to reflect the right stops and balance.
Richard_H, May 2026
This is a full day of American history. It will give you a thorough understanding of these initial battles of the American Revolution.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for your nice review. We always strive for a comprehensive presentation of the early years of the America Revolution!
stacie_h, May 2026
General overview of the events of April 19th with time spent pointing out key locations and stopping at a few. Best stops were the national Park Service locations. Best films and information and docents. Tour guide very knowledgeable about both historical and general information about Boston and the surrounds.
Rachel_W, May 2026
This tour takes much longer than it needs to. It’s nice to be able to see Lexington and Concord from Boston, but each stop felt like it was dragged out just to fill the whole day. Would’ve been a much better tour had the stops been shorter and the guide stuck to the tour topics.
Response from Host, May 2026
Please note that the tour needs to cover Cambridge, Lexington and Concord along with time for lunch. The Concord Museum is scheduled based on feedback and museum advice for one-hour. In addition to an hour of travel time each way. It is listed online as an 8-5 tour with multiple stops focused on the first stages of the American Revolution.
Michael_H, Apr 2026
Our guide was fantastic, so knowledgeable, a true history buff. A fascinating look back at the beginnings of the Revolutionary War and a lot of famous literary people as well. Emerson, Thoreau and Alcott.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your nice review. I'm glad that we are able include the amazing literary society folks as well!
Lauren_C, Apr 2026
This is a fantastic way to visit Lexington and Concord while in Boston. We had a great time and learned so much. 10/10 recommend!
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your great review. I'm glad you enjoyed "walking in the footsteps" of the American Revolution.
Stacy_C, Oct 2025
Very good tour and guide. Please keep all
Political views out of the tour. The folks in the van started to push back when negative comments about President Trump were made. Keep current politics out of the tour. No place.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thank you for letting me know. Politics have no place on a tour.
Hayley_M, Oct 2025
Lots of great knowledge, but very cramped transport and guide wasn’t very welcoming or open to questions.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Thank you for the feedback. I'll let the guide know. Regarding transportation, tour companies across the U.S. use the type of vehicles.we use smaller vehicles to access off the beaten track historic sites.
Edna_P, Oct 2025
Easy in and out of the van. Very informative guide. Fun and a good time. Beautiful drive.
Very enjoyable.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Thank you for taking the time to write a super review.
Glad you had an enjoyable experience!
Rusty_C, Oct 2025
This was a great day trip. Our shuttle driver Coach was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout the trip. Amazing historical information and sights in both Lexington and Concord. Learned a lot about Boston universities along the way out of town.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Thank you for the review. Coach is our key guide!
BG_E, Oct 2025
Excellent guide ("coach"). Very informative about all the history. Saw lots of Boston, Harvard, Lexington and Concord plus many historic sites.
Only problem was that the 10/12 seater minibus was full; very crampt, no leg space.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Thank you for your review. I'll let coach know.
Judith_K, Oct 2025
If you book on a Monday, the museum is closed. Coach was very informative and knowledgeable. Small group so quite personal.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Unfortunately, the museum decided to close on Mondays with no head's up due to staffing issues -mid season. We added other attractions to compensate until Mondays are again available. It remains open on the other days of the week.
Dianne_K, Oct 2025
Coach was excellent, very informative. However I felt we were too crowded in the small van. Maybe use a bigger van or not add that many people. Discouraged that the trip was advertised with Concord museum but museum is not open on Mondays. Its always best to be transparent and fully disclose prior to booking
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Than you for your feedback. Unfortunately, demand has increased so much with the 250th Anniversary that next year we'll be switching to a bus. Large vans allow tourists to get into the nooks and crannies of historic back roads and sites too big for coach buses to access
, and provide a small group experience.
Mary_C, Oct 2025
Coach was an incredible tour guide! He was knowledgable, funny and able to negotiate the roads while telling the history.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Thank you for your nice compliments for "Coach"! Our entire team has DECADES of experience in local tourism but "Coach" is our gold standard!
Charles_H, Sep 2025
We really were in awe of what sacrifices were made for our freedom today. Excellent tour guide, Coach went over and above to give the tour a feel for what these people did, felt and sacrificed for us today.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
I happy that you had an excellent experience on our Lexington and Concord tour and will forward you comments to "Coach".
