This an absolutely fascinating trip with a really knowledgeable guide and plenty of getting your feet onto the actual ground of where all these events happened. Very evocative. And so many extant houses from the period. History and literature. And a great museum.

Very good tour and guide....

Stacy_C, Oct 2025
Very good tour and guide. Please keep all Political views out of the tour. The folks in the van started to push back when negative comments about President Trump were made. Keep current politics out of the tour. No place.

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Thank you for letting me know. Politics have no place on a tour.

Good for knowledge

Hayley_M, Oct 2025
Lots of great knowledge, but very cramped transport and guide wasn’t very welcoming or open to questions.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Thank you for the feedback. I'll let the guide know. Regarding transportation, tour companies across the U.S. use the type of vehicles.we use smaller vehicles to access off the beaten track historic sites.

Historical day trip from Biston

Rusty_C, Oct 2025
This was a great day trip. Our shuttle driver Coach was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout the trip. Amazing historical information and sights in both Lexington and Concord. Learned a lot about Boston universities along the way out of town.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Thank you for the review. Coach is our key guide!

Guide lives the Revolution Story with you.

BG_E, Oct 2025
Excellent guide ("coach"). Very informative about all the history. Saw lots of Boston, Harvard, Lexington and Concord plus many historic sites. Only problem was that the 10/12 seater minibus was full; very crampt, no leg space.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Thank you for your review. I'll let coach know.

If you book on a Monday,...

Judith_K, Oct 2025
If you book on a Monday, the museum is closed. Coach was very informative and knowledgeable. Small group so quite personal.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Unfortunately, the museum decided to close on Mondays with no head's up due to staffing issues -mid season. We added other attractions to compensate until Mondays are again available. It remains open on the other days of the week.

Good experience

Dianne_K, Oct 2025
Coach was excellent, very informative. However I felt we were too crowded in the small van. Maybe use a bigger van or not add that many people. Discouraged that the trip was advertised with Concord museum but museum is not open on Mondays. Its always best to be transparent and fully disclose prior to booking

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Than you for your feedback. Unfortunately, demand has increased so much with the 250th Anniversary that next year we'll be switching to a bus. Large vans allow tourists to get into the nooks and crannies of historic back roads and sites too big for coach buses to access , and provide a small group experience.

Coach was an incredible tour guide! He was knowledgable, funny and able to negotiate the roads while telling the history.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Thank you for your nice compliments for "Coach"! Our entire team has DECADES of experience in local tourism but "Coach" is our gold standard!

Sacrifice for Freedom

Charles_H, Sep 2025
We really were in awe of what sacrifices were made for our freedom today. Excellent tour guide, Coach went over and above to give the tour a feel for what these people did, felt and sacrificed for us today.

Response from Host, Sep 2025

I happy that you had an excellent experience on our Lexington and Concord tour and will forward you comments to "Coach".

A walk through history

Elisa_F, Sep 2025
A great tour for both history buffs and those just curious. Our guide, Coach, was a wealth of knowledge! What a great day!

Response from Host, Sep 2025

I'm glad you had a great time. I'll let Coach know!

Great tour K and M

Margaret_B, Sep 2025
Historical tour, knowledgeable tour guide. Enjoyed every moment. Very touching about the Grave of British Soldiers by the North Bridge. It shows the love and great spirit of human beings.

Response from Host, Sep 2025

That you for your very nice review of our historic tour.

A very entertaining and worthwhile tour.

David_N, Sep 2025
This was an excellent tour of Lexington and Concord, even more detailed than might be expected. "Coach" was our tour guide. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, informative, energetic and engaging. My wife, who is not a history buff, enjoyed Coach's presentation. We spent significant time out of the van at several spots including Lexington Green, Concord's North Bridge, Battle Road and, fortunately for us, at the Concord Museum which was one of the highlights of the tour. I would highly recommend this tour, which in our case, consisted of three tourists and Coach.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

I'm glad you enjoyed your tour. We focus on small group tours so that everyone has the full experience of an "escorted" tour, and "Coach" is an "institution" in the local tourism industry!

Excitement with Paul Revere

John_L, Aug 2025
Tour van allows for a small group of people. Tour guide has a good microphone to allow everyone to hear.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Thank you for your nice review. Our company focuses on small group tours to hard to get to historic and scenic sites, so folks can have an up close experience.

Coach was an excellent guide. His tour was very informative, educational and entertaining. My grandson and I love it.

Not Your Average Tour

LeAnne_G, Aug 2025
In our travels, we’ve been on many tours, but this was one of the very best. Coach, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job adding insightful details to our experience. His descriptive dialogue was the perfect compliment to the museum stop where we were able to view a synchronized timeline re-enactment of the Lexington and Concord events. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the tour was very informative. Highly recommend!

Izolia_J, Aug 2025
This tour was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation from our guide. He knew the history of each city, and I definitely enjoyed the Freedom Trails. The food at Jones' restaurant was extremely good. This is definitely a must-see.

If you like American history, this trip is for you!

Sandra_V, Aug 2025
It was a long day but learned so much about American history. Guide was very informative. The van we were in could have used a new set of shock absorbers. Lots of hard bumps in the roads!

Lexington & Concord History Tour

Kim_B, Aug 2025
Coach, our tour guide, did an excellent job on our van tour. He has a wealth of knowledge that he shares along the drive through Cambridge, Lexington & Concord. He would pull over to share facts all along the way. We also walked around many historical sites on this tour. We stopped to have lunch in Concord’s cute downtown.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Thank you for your review. I'll let Coach know that you had an enjoyable experience.

Samuel_A, Aug 2025
The driver was knowledgeable and friendly. I learned stuff I never knew before. It was a pleasant experience

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Glad you had a pleasant time. Coach is a local Bostonian, and has been giving historic tours for many years. He has a vast knowledge of local history of Boston, Cambridge, Lexington and Concord.

Very good tour

David_O, Aug 2025
Guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions on the amercan revolution.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

I'll let Coach know that you had an enjoyable experience. Coach is one of the most knowledgeable guide in Boston tourism and a history buff.

Informative tour

Terry_H, Jul 2025
If you like history, this tour will be great. You can learn a lot about the battle at Lexington and Concord and the times in which the battle took place. You see and experience a lot in a short amount of time. The only downside to the tour is the van is not very comfortable for a large group of people. The guide talks a lot and has a prickly personality. If you can look beyond the guide and the cramped van, it is a good tour.

Outstanding experience

Susan_I, Jul 2025
Our guide was exceptional. He was ever-so knowledgeable about the historical events; completely prepared in every sense of the word; and it was easy to see that he was passionate about the subject. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Your nice review is greatly appreciated. I'll let Coach know. Thanks.

worth while tour

Curtis_E, Jul 2025
great information, our tour guide, Coach, did a wonderful job giving us a good overview of the area.

Excellent Tour!!

George_M, Jul 2025
You will not find a better tour of the area than this one. Our guide, Coach, was incredibly knowledgeable and inciteful about the area both historically and contemporarilly. Highly recommended!!

Fabulous Tour & Experience!

devon_f, Jul 2025
Coach really made Lexington and Concord come alive! My family learned more about the beginning of the American Revolution in this tour than we ever did in school, in large part due to Coach’s clear passion for and deep knowledge of this time in America’s history! The group was intimate (12 people) in an air conditioned shuttle and the day was well planned. We not only learned about various battles and events, but learned about American authors from the time, saw historical homes, and really gained an essence of life in colonial times. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone! Thank you Coach!

Great experience! Tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Could have used a bit more time for pictures.

The pick up point was not...

Lee_C, Jul 2025
The pick up point was not specifically where stated. You travel in a cramped van. Other people spoken too also thought it would be a coach. A solution would have been to have less people on board. The guide was very knowledgable but over commentated with non stop commentary. Think less examples and more pauses would have been more enjoyable.

Response from Host, Jul 2025

Nowhere on the website or materials does it state that it is a coach bus. We use large vans as do other companies to access historic sites inaccessible to buses. In addition, the trip to Lexington is only 40 minutes in length. The tour is advertised as narrated, for the purpose of providing a fully escorted experience that includes information vs. that of an unescorted "on your own" adventure. Your pickup location and time is very specific, and provided by email/text the day prior to the tour. Sometimes there is a slight change in the pickup spot when construction projects are underway impacting pedestrian safety. But this is relayed with pickup information prior to the tour.

Tight but great

Geoff_S, Jul 2025
Coach was a great tour guide. We hit great sites and he gave a ton of information. The only bad part was we were all crammed into the bus. It was so full I had to sit sideways in the back, stuck sweating on and with another guy. I’ll definitely need a chiropractor visit after. Otherwise a good time, the ride detracted severely.

Response from Host, Jul 2025

Unfortunately, numerous historical sites are inaccessible to large coach buses. The air conditioning was recently recharged and tested. Unless the guide is made aware to turn up the blower, the AC is kept at a low/moderate level to avoid too much cold air.
