Gude has a huge amount of knowledge about the area and events. Also enjoyed the part thru MIT and Harvard and the history.

Coach was the best tour guide! He talked history from pick-up to drop-off and at all the stops. If you're looking for real in-depth information about the first days of the war, stuff they don't teach you in school, Coach is your guy. All the stops were where history was made and our country began. I can't recommend it enough.

Our Guide, Coach, was very courteous, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Through Coach we learned more about the history of our independence movement and the Lexington and Concord battles than we ever knew. We highly recommend this tour

The driver was extremely knowledgeable and took his time to give a colorful and clear image of each battle. He was also considerate of our late comers and elderly. We appreciated his easy style and jokes.
The bus needs an exit handle for the back passengers. The driver did help but it could be better. Also, people should be told that walking was necessary to participate.

Regarding the comment that "be told that walking was necessary to particapate," note that the GBT website states that "Accessibility: Lots of walking but at a leisurely pace, on mostly level ground. Not suitable for those with difficulty walking." Booking platforms also note walking.
Totally worth the money. Wouldn't have had as comprehensive a tour if we'd gone independently. Would buy again

Great day. We learned a lot. It was an all day tour and mostly in the van but got in and out at the key stops which was great. Guide told us a lot of information.

Happy you had a great tour. There is so much history around Boston, Lexington and Concord that is critical to understanding the beginnings of the American Revolution. Walking in the "footsteps of history" is so different than studying a book on the topic. Thank you for your review.
Fantastic, in-depth, knowledgeable tour exploring the battlefields, people involved, with some literary giants and universities thrown in, all told in a masterfully entertaining way by Coach, whose sense of humor is quick-witted and rapid-fire. Plenty of time for lunch with great suggestions on where to eat. The Concord museum was a small, quaint, uncrowded jewel which really tied everything together, with the added bonus of seeing one of the lanterns from the Old North Church. A fantastic experience overall, even in the rain! Would definitely do it again. Thanks, Coach!

Tour guide was very good keeping us entertained while at the same time providing interesting historical information. However unfortunately they had 14 passengers in a van that should hold a maximum of 10 which made the travel extremely uncomfortable.

This is the first time we've had a complaint about the vehicle that has seating for 14 passengers. When the guide texted me during the tour that you were uncomfortable, I immediately texted you that a full refund would be issued with our apologies. No other passengers noted an issue.
Wonderful small group tour! We learned a lot and our driver, Coach, was great!! We saw a lot of the sites you never hear about plus the ones you do and it puts it all in perspective.

If you are a history buff, or even just mildly interested in the Revelutionary War, Coach is your man. He provided so much information, in such an enjoyable story telling style, he brought the area to life, and provided so much context to the events detailed in the Freedom Trail walking tour in Boston. History truly comes to life as you drive the path of the evening and day that marked the beginning of the Revolutionary War.
Wondering experience. Extremely knowledgeable guide. Plenty of time allowed to permit full appreciation of the subject and places. I strongly recommend it.

Very detailed tour but not much time to spend in Lexington and Concord. Loved the concord museum and the North Bridge
I learned so much and it was a great tour. Lunch stop in Concord was nice and he even dropped me off by a T station at the end of the tour so I could easily head to the airport for my flight out that evening. Thanks!

The Coach was good, he was real good! We toured in a light to medium rain, but he made sure that we saw everything. I had always heard about Lexington and Concord, but now I understand the battles that started the Revolutionary War.

Our guide “Coach,” was so knowledgeable! Really brought the story alive for us. He was thoughtful, professional, and answered every question! Loved it.
Coach put together an excellent tour telling the story and giving the inside look at what happened between April 18 and 19 starting the war. He was so knowledgeable and did a great job of handling at least one person on the trip who was pretty obnoxious. The museums were great and the information was delivered with passion and love of the material and area. If you’re super into history and want to go on an unrushed trip, this is the one to take.
This tour goes in depth of the history that took place with Paul Revere and the shots hurt around the world. You get to stand on the actual grounds where this happened and Coach our tour guide was amazing! His detail of what took place made you feel a part of it even though it was 250 years ago. The only thing I would say is I would’ve much rather had a little more time in the museums. But I know there’s only so much time in a day. Thanks for a great tour!
