What are people saying about Halifax

One of the best informative, engaging tours
We were on Thursday 10:30 trip, Can't remember the name of our guide but the captain chatted with my daughter about living in BC. ( We sat right at the front, thanks to my grandson My grandson, (9), really enjoyed the trip- he doesn't usually seem to be listening to people telling him new things, however I was totally amazed at how much info he was able to 'regurgitate' back to his father when we returned. He was accurate as well, and even looked a few of the history points up on the computer. Well DONE by the guide as her information and manner of sharing it kept a young man engaged. Of course, he would say the best part was the 'big splash' going into the water. What can I say, he's a young boy. thankyou, Due to family coming to visit from out of province, this was my 3rd time taking this trip and I can honestly say the most informative.

The ship is easy to maneuver. The crew is helpful, professional and friendly. My husband and I made some new friends during the cruise. We had the pleasure of listening to "Big Gary" and he was charming and had a perfect lineup of songs for easy listening.

The driver/guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm prone to getting carsick, but I never felt woozy or uneasy with her driving. The van was roomie and the tour group is small so you don't feel like you have to be squeezed into the van. The experience(s) of Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove felt like we had enough time to walk around, explore and get something to eat. My husband and I talked about doing the tour again before we had to fly home 😆. It was a wonderful experience.

This was a perfect half day tour for an introduction to the area. Our tour guide June was the best! A really nice and easy person to be around, June is very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and shared a lot of information about Halifax too. We appreciated that June confirmed our pick up place the day before. She is a good driver and allowed for our slow mobility at the places we stopped while still keeping us on schedule. Not only did my husband and I learn a lot but we also had fun! So glad we had the experience. Thank you June!

Haligonians love to show visitors around their hometown, so there are plenty of Halifax tours. Follow your guide to catch the sunset from Peggy’s Cove, home to what locals say is Canada’s most photographed lighthouse. Or, head to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lunenburg or the Fairview Lawn Cemetery, where you can see the graves of 121 Titanic victims. Meanwhile, in Annapolis Valley, guides know where to find the best wineries, and at historic Halifax Harbour, they’ll have you helping a boat crew hoist the sails. Refuel on fresh seafood chowder during a culinary-themed walking tour.
