What are people saying about Halifax

5 star guide Jonathan
Our day was great because of our tour guide Jonathan. He is the cherry on top of the places we visited. He is informative, funny and accommodating which makes for a great experience. If you get Jonathan as your tour guide/driver you will not be disappointed.

Exceptional wine tour
Gary was our guide for our wine tour. He was extremely knowledgable and provided us with the history of Halifax. The wineries provide a discount to some tour groups unfortunately, not ours regardless I was able to ship wine home for $15 fee which I find extremely reasonable

Charming visit to Peggy's Cove
Peggy's Cove is a delight. Picture perfect location. The whole experience was made so much better by our driver and guide Jay. We had a smooth and informative journey of just under an hour from the cruise terminal to our destination. Two hours at Peggy's Cove. Our time was made up of a walk to the Lighthouse, a bite to eat and time to explore and photograph this beautiful setting. On our return our guide Jay made us feel relaxed with his historical and local knowledge of the area, we also had time for a ride around the citadel with wonder views of Halifax. All in all a lovely day out

Hidden Gems
Well worth the time and money to enjoy a day learning about and visiting Lunenburg, Peggy’s Cove and Halifax. Nilah was especially good at providing colorful historical commentary throughout the trip. She also was great at preventing problems: reminding us of bathroom breaks; to give notice if there was a need to pull over; exercised caution while driving.

Haligonians love to show visitors around their hometown, so there are plenty of Halifax tours. Follow your guide to catch the sunset from Peggy’s Cove, home to what locals say is Canada’s most photographed lighthouse. Or, head to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lunenburg or the Fairview Lawn Cemetery, where you can see the graves of 121 Titanic victims. Meanwhile, in Annapolis Valley, guides know where to find the best wineries, and at historic Halifax Harbour, they’ll have you helping a boat crew hoist the sails. Refuel on fresh seafood chowder during a culinary-themed walking tour.
