Very boring and useless tour. We stood in practically one area for the hour. Didn’t learn much. We could have not wasted the money and done this ourselves.
Rohini_G, Jun 2026
Lani was a fantastic guide! She clearly spoke from experience of being part of Harvard. Loved every moment of the tour of this historic landmark.
Karen_C, Jun 2026
Great guide. Fun and informative. We really enjoyed ourselves. Take a parasol if it’s a hot sunny day.
Tania_D, Jun 2026
Our tour no hide Alexandria was amazing! Wonderful information was shared and she took us to all the key places on campus.

It was "okay" ... the entire event was outdoors (and hot) with no water or restroom breaks. I would have liked to have seen some of the interior architecture. The guides are okay, but heavily accented. It was challenging to stay caught up (and my kids zoned out early). He did fine, and his English is way better than my Swahili. But still, it was challenging. The group size was appropriate. I think we had about 20 or so with us. And the fee would have been fine IF it wasn't just outdoors. But we got nothing from the tour price we couldn't have gotten for free on our own. Bring water, umbrella, walking shoes ... anything you need for an outdoor walk.

Alexandria gave a great tour and even caught us up on some of the history we missed at the end. We contacted the tour operator when we got stuck in traffic and Juan gave us great directions on where to meet up with the tour group. A tour you don’t want to miss if you are in the area!

Robin_M, May 2026

Sarah_C, May 2026
Very informational and fun! It was neat to see the buildings and hear about the history, people, and customs of Harvard!
Maria_R, May 2026
The Harvard student guide we had was very nice friendly and of course very knowledgeable about Harvard and it's history, including fun facts.
Keith_A, May 2026
The tour is of the grounds only, and not in any of the buildings. Dress for the weather and come with questions for the guide.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for your review! Unfortunately, we are unable to bring tour groups inside campus buildings due to university policies ensuring student safety. Nevertheless, we're glad to hear you had a good experience!
Brad_T, May 2026
Elia (girl from Ireland) was very friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone on campus involved with the tour was helpful
Priscilla_B, May 2026
Dante was an excellent host. He was very knowledgeable and was very exciting to tour with. He kept us laughing and guessing by asking us questions. Truly, one of the best tours I've been on
Kristi_B, May 2026

Svetlana_U, May 2026
We had a great tour, lots of interesting fact about the university and its campus. the group was relatively small of 8 people and everyone was friendly and engaged (Our tour was on Monday at 11am)
Gary_N, May 2026
I asked the tour guide if I needed ID to see the Gutenberg Bible at the library and he said no I did not need ID. When I arrived at the library the security guard was very rude because I didn't have school ID. This guide also said we can attend certain classes without ID, I don't think that's true either. At the end of the tour the guide said that he is "forced" to end the tour at the Harvard Shop. This guide said he disagreed with this as it is too corporate! I don't recall his name but he was a tall blonde guy, said he was a junior and came here from Russia. That's all I have as a description. Other than what I mentioned above he was a nice man.

Dominique was a great tour guide. Nice to get a student’s perspective on life on campus. I would recommend this tour, very insightful. Thank you!
Ava_D, May 2026
It’s a comprehensive tour around the campus and he’s very good about what he’s doing
He gave us a tour of the buildings in the campus an d also the history of who went to Harvard University and impressed how the very successful students became the presidents of the United States. It’s an amazing thing to know .
Sierra_S, May 2026
Jake was a great tour guide. Tour had great info and it was fun! Would definitely recommend to others!
Kemi_B, May 2026
This tour is much shorter than described. Because you’re basically just walking the yard, you can do this tour on your own with a map.
Alexandra_K, May 2026
Great way to learn a little bit more about Harvard! We enjoyed chatting with our guide and learning about the buildings, history, and famous alumni.
John_C, Apr 2026

Great walking tour of Harvsrd! Student tour guide led us on a tour of Harvard Yard, student dormitories, John Harvard statue, libraries and history of Harvard. Answered our questions and led tour at a comfortable pace. Easy to hear and understand. Personable.

Great tour student guide was quite informative and answered all questions.
Got a real sense of the experience of a student. Took my daughter and she really enjoyed it. Harvard yard was impressive and full of energy and the explanation on big events was great.
