Harlan was our guide and was great. Very entertaining, really informative and friendly. Would recommend the tour

The story teller was not.....
1. Speaking loud enough to hear.
2. He did not seem to remember much of thr stories.
3. He felt rushed, especially on the graveyard, actually started a story and then okay let's go
This is our 2nd tour even my 9 year old granddaughter said the last time was much better.

Fun experience. We learned some interesting facts and laughed a lot. Definitely do it at night. Tour guides were very nice.
Alicia_A, Jul 2026
This was not interesting at all. We went around in a circle and saw two graveyards (that you can see on your own btw). I was so disappointed.
Hiral_P, Jul 2026
Really fun and interesting
Easy way to learn some history and have fun
Guide was very knowledgeable.
Ryan_C, Jul 2026
Tour was fun, guides had good stories to tell and stayed in character. some surprises on the way. There is some walking, not just riding for anyone who has trouble walking.
Melissa_B, Jul 2026
Our guide was engaging and a great story teller. He knew a lot of history and scary tales from the past. Loved the graveyard tours and seeing the city at night. The last graveyard tours stop we had a different guide and she was a bit harder to understand and connect with - wish we would have had the same guide for both graveyard stops. Overall a fun tour and good experience!

Fun and Great time. Would recommend to anyone. Our guide was funny and informative. Love all the graveyard tours.

Ronnie was an excellent tour leader. He kept us on our toes with witty jokes and of course interesting Boston history. And Harlan was excellent, as well. Loved his poetry. Loved his stories. And, we loved his enthusiasm for what he does. What a great team. We had a very enjoyable evening. Thank you.
And most important … the driver was much appreciated. He drove slowly and carefully. Kudos to him (I do not remember his name)

A fair price with good actors that develop their characters well. The combination of trolley and walking is balanced out appropriately.
Austin_R, Jul 2026
This was one of the most fun Ghost Tours I have been on. I have been on many and the combination of the Trolley and Tour Guide made it truly a memorable experience!

Last night, my nephew and I did the 7 pm tour with Brian. My nephew is autistic and often can’t emote. When we were done with the tour, I said to him, “that was fun.” He said, no that was awesome; it was my favorite thing of the weekend. He recited facts, anecdotes and even Brian’s jokes. This tour was absolutely amazing.

Great experience. Great info and background stories. You need to be prepared.to walk up so.e hills. Overall, it really is a great tour.
Nancy_H, Jul 2026
It was a fun experience. Lovely to see the city in the twilight. Fun and interesting historical stories. 😀
Arkansas_M, Jul 2026
The guides were very knowledgeable and invested in humanizing the historical figures they discussed. Even if you don’t believe in the supernatural, their theatrics and enthusiasm make the experience very entertaining.
Mary was my tour guide, and she was fantastic.
christy_p, Jul 2026
The guides very informative and professional. Also the bus driver is very polite and caring. The trolley and walking tour is a wise choice to explore all of Boston.
Rachel_B, Jul 2026
Such an incredible tour, highly recommend to all. Ronnie was unbelievable, tony-award worthy performance.
Vanessa_E, Jul 2026
Such a fun Tour! we were late to our first Tour and rather than just dismissing us for being late they worked to get us on another tour! BRAVO for the kindness and service.
Melissa_A, Jul 2026
Such a cheesy trolley tour, and I say that in the best way possible! Our tour guide Mercy was silly and spooky. Even our teenager had fun and he hates everything 😆 Go at sundown, it’s the perfect time.
Stephanie_S, Jul 2026
Our ghoul guide Petunia was fantastic! The four stars is because the walking part of tour to the locations of the burying grounds was more strenuous and could have been disclosed better. It felt like it was a significant part of the tour and we may not have taken it if we had known that the tour was going to be mostly walking.
Michael_F, Jul 2026
We were hoping for more actual local ghost stories, but the staff did a great job in horrible weather. We really liked the graveyard stops.
Michelle_D, Jul 2026
What a fun, silly tour! Fun for the whole family. Our guide and driver were delightful, and the bad puns made even our tough-audience college kids giggle. Well-done!
Linda_P, Jul 2026
This was our first trip to Boston with our friends and family, and our group consisted of 15 people. We saw a lot of positive reviews for this particular ghost tour so we booked it for our kids as a fun experience. The kids were especially excited for this ghost tour, which was the main reason why we booked it.
Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing because of our tour guide.
Our tour was scheduled for 6:00 PM, and we arrived around 5:20 PM. We were the first group on the bus and were seated in the back, which we were perfectly happy with. While waiting for the remaining passengers to arrive, our kids were quietly chatting with one another. They were not running around, yelling, or being disruptive. To our surprise, the tour guide abruptly told them to “SHUT UP and BE QUIET!” At that point, there were no other passengers on the bus. We found this completely unnecessary and inappropriate. Expecting children to sit silently for 40 minutes before the tour even begins is unrealistic. This should have been a fun and exciting experience, especially for the kids.
The situation became even more upsetting during the tour. When one of our children needed to use the restroom, we politely asked if there was an opportunity to stop. Instead of responding professionally, the tour guide became visibly irritated, called us “idiots,” and threw what felt like a tantrum for the remainder of the tour. There is simply no excuse for speaking to paying guests that way.
The tour itself was much more of a history lesson than a ghost tour. We didn’t mind the historical aspect, but families expecting a fun, interactive ghost experience should know that this tour may be better suited for adults or history enthusiasts than young children.
To make matters worse, the guide’s exaggerated character accent was extremely difficult to understand. While we appreciate staying in character, it became frustrating because much of the narration was unintelligible, making it difficult to stay engaged.
We truly believe our negative experience came down to this particular tour guide because every other employee we encountered on thìs tour was friendly and welcoming. It’s unfortunate because we think we would have really enjoyed this tour with someone who was more respectful, engaging, and family-friendly.
Louise_C, Jul 2026
Some walking off the bus. Multiple guides which made it nice for different styles. Like most ghost/graveyard tours, there is quite a bit of history of Boston given. All guides were knowledgeable and answered a lot of questions.
Marianne_W, Jul 2026
We had a great time. There were a few people on the tour that were bothered by the minimal amount of walking that was required to get a closer look at a few things. We didn’t mind at all. The guides were great and we were amazed at how well they stayed in character!
Fernando_B, Jul 2026
They bury the time you need to show at the location deep in the notes of the event setup. We arrived at 6pm for a 6pm tour and were told we missed it. Not a great experience to say the least
Linda_P, Jul 2026
So much fun! From the moment I stepped on the open air bus--and heard the spooky music--I loved this tour! Tour guide--Demon Rodney--was entertaining, educational, and absolutely fabulous! He stayed in "goolish" character the entire time. The old man in the graveyard was incredible too! Both great actors! I would definitely take this tour again! Loved it!
Teri_P, Jul 2026
Great experience. All the staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!
Nicole_B, Jun 2026
Expected more time hearing ghost stories. There were some interesting facts of the City but was just not what was expected given the title of the tour. Could easily cut back on the role playing aspect, did not seem well received by anyone in the tour group. Made it all seem cheesy.
Sheila_C, Jun 2026
Great stories, fun hosts, and lots to see with our big group. Loved it! Our host clearly did the research and enjoyed what they did!
