This was a great exposure to Quebec City's food, with some history and culture thrown in. Some of the foods were elevated and unexpected [e.g. duck carpaccio with maple vinegar], while others were expected but special [best poutine]. Pamela was a terrific tour leader with obvious love for her home city.

It was very entertaining. It is a great deal of walking but it covered areas of the city I did not have a chance to see yet. Well done overview of the history of criminal punishments during British rule in Quebec City. Do not take your children if you do not want them to hear about criminal punishments.

Highly recommend, so worth it!

If you're able to spend a few hours in Old Quebec this walking tour is an amazing way to explore the city. I was staying for several days and although I explored on my own, I decided to book this tour to learn about the history from an experienced guide. Stefan was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and pleasant to listen to. He took us to many historical sites and taught us so much about the history of the city. I did other excursions during my time here but honestly, this might have been the highlight of my stay if you enjoy exploring and learning. It was not too long of a tour and the walking was pleasant with time to get some nice photos. Our tour ended right before rain started so check the weather and bring an umbrella if you need one because they'll still do the tour!

Great tour! Our driver was excellent, knowledgeable, and funny. I’m glad we went because I probably would have missed some of the sites and interesting history on my own. I just wish we had more time at Montmorency Falls. My daughter was the only child on the tour, but she still enjoyed it. Definitely recommend!

A Great Foodie Tour

A really great “foodie” tour. Our guide, Serge, was very engaging and knowledgeable and his English was impeccable. The food selections and restaurants were chosen with care, and were varied. We sampled a tomato salad, French onion soup, flambéed shrimp, a wagu beef dish and a mousse (at a Micheline Star resturant), with accompanying wine and beer selections. We are not shrimp eaters and the tour was able to substitute a fabulous Caesar Salad and motzuella cheese specifically for us. An absolute great tour and tour guide. I’d highly recommend this tour.

Great Day outside Quebec City

One of the best tours ever. We did every thing we wanted to and then stuff. The wineries were fun and tasty the currant stop was also great. We choose to opt out the chocolate experience and did a photo place instead. François was so amazing and accommodating not to mention professional. By all means take the private tour.

Go Goat Hiking!

This was such a fun activity! The goats each have their own personality and made the hike very entertaining. It was also interesting watching Luna do her job herding the sheep. The picnic at the end was much more than I expected! The fresh strawberries from Francois's garden were amazing. I highly recommend booking if you enjoy animals and want to explore outside the city. It was raining on the day we originally booked, but Francois was great about communicating and rescheduling.

We had a great time...

We had a great time learning about Old Quebec with Jocelyn! We covered a lot of ground (literally!), and even learned the difference between French and English architecture. The funicular was a crowd favorite, as was the scavenger hunt for the 43 miniature men/women hidden around the city. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an informative and entertaining couple of hours.

Perfect first day tour outside if Quebec City

What a fun morning! This was a great way to start our short little trip to Quebec City. Naima was a perfect guide. She talked in French with my brother when he wanted and English with the rest. Best eating in Quebec- come hungry !

My husband and I went on this tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are foodies. The tour started at an Italian restaurant where we had a delicious salad, then in our next location we had French onion soup. Both great, but the last 2 stops were phenomenal. The food at the Continental and the dessert at Le Clan were out of this world. Wonderful tour

It was great to have a private 4-hour tour of Quebec City. Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us many things we would have missed without this experience. We customized our tour and visited Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. Oh my word - such a beautiful basilica - reminded me of European churches. Don't miss this gem when visiting. We have found hiring the private guide gives us flexibility to go at our pace and go places that the larger tours don't go. I highly recommend this tour.
