This trip was my first trip to Boston. We hit all of the high points and it really helps to not have to worry about expensive ticket prices. Savings on specific activities were used for meals and rideshare. Definitely a budget friendly option!

It was great. The only thing is Google the distance between the outings. It was worth the money to buy the passes. We didnt have to wait in line.

Definitely worth it!

Kelly_M, Dec 2025
The pass was awesome. Easy to use. I wish it included something with parking as we had to pay $48.00 for 2 hours of parking to go into the Aquarium. Would definitely suggest buying if you are visiting several places.

Wear comfortable shoes for Harvard.

Randall_R, Sep 2025
Allow lots of time for Harvard as there is a lot of walking between buildings. The bulk is in the natural history building but there are additional tiny displays of archeology, anthropology and technology on campus.

So easy to use. Bypass all the lines and get right in. The flexibility of what you can do allowed us to change plans from day to day.

Family Friendly

Gioany_B, Jul 2025
Relatively simple to book the experience after downloading the City Pass App. All activities are family friendly.

Not a discount

andrew_M, Jun 2025
Went to the science museum of Boston, Harvard Natural History Museum and View Boston. Book individually.

Response from Host, Jul 2025

Boston CityPASS includes admission to 4 attractions. It is possible to save even when going to only 3 attractions, depending on which attractions you visit. However, if you visit only 3 attractions and choose ones that have a lower regular admission cost, CityPASS may not provide savings. We include all the regular admission prices on our website so that travelers can determine if CityPASS will provide a savings based on the attractions they want to visit.

Candice_B, Sep 2024
I enjoyed the riverfront and the Boston culture. The food was delicious and the views are breathtaking.

Probably worth it?

Kelly_H, Aug 2024
We did the Museum of Science, Boston Harbour Cruise, Franklin Park Museum, and the New England Aquarium (you get a half rice 3D film on the same day). The zoo wasn't anything special, the aquarium was small but pretty cool, the cruise was the best and the museum of science was more fun and engaging than we anticipated.

Great experience on a budget

Okunlola_O, Jul 2024
Got to explore a lot in a short amount of time without breaking the bank. I highly recommend this service

A great time

Ron_M, May 2024
Love the Penguins 🐧 and the Sea Lions. The Harbour City Cruise was fun and relaxing. We will be back again for the 4th of July.

One Pass to see Lots

Debbie_D, May 2024
My son and I enjoyed the Boston CityPass. We went to the aquarium, Franklin Park Zoo and we viewed Boston Observation Deck. The fish were beautiful, it was nice that the animals were so close to you at the zoo, and the observation deck views were unbelievable! You could see the whole city!

Verify your trip before buying

Chris_E, Sep 2023
The zoo was closed for a private event and the Harvard Art Museums are already free and made the CityPASS pointless.

Response from Host, Sep 2023

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry the zoo was closed. Please note that CityPASS tickets include admission to the Harvard Museum of Natural History, which does not offer free admission. You can find ticket prices here: https://hmnh.harvard.edu/plan-your-visit

Terrible

DiAnn_B, Sep 2023
We were 15 minutes late in catching the lady harbor cruise. My husband is a Vietnam Vet you has bladder cancer from Agent Orange while protecting our freedom. Because we were late and missed the cruise we lost all of our Boston City Pass…. We are here on our Golden Anniversary 💍🎂. This really has ruined it! Can we get a full refund? Plz!

Response from Host, Sep 2023

Hi there, It sounds like maybe there is a misunderstanding. I'm sorry you missed your cruise, but that should definitely not make you lose the rest of your CityPASS admissions. I would suggest contacting our customer care team, and they can clarify the situation and answer any questions you have. You can find their contact info at support.citypass.com. I hope that helps!

Best of Boston in 4 days

Victoria_R, Aug 2023
The Boston Museum of Fine Arts was phenomenal; a must do for art enthusiasts! We have been to several aquariums. The 1 in Boston stood out bc of its unique central tank. The Museum of Science is an uncommon type of museum and offers a little bit of everything. The View was a great 1st day experience bc it can help shape your plan if your stay in Boston has flexibility. I had some difficulty accessing my tickets. The staff of City Pass expertly assisted me. I am so thankful for how accommodating they were!

Not easy to make all reservations by internet. Could not book my Science museum tickets in advance. Not that easy to navigate the website

Response from Host, Aug 2023

I'm sorry for any confusion over Museum of Science reservations. You can find instructions in our My CityPASS app or on our My CityPASS website at https://my.citypass.com/product/boston/attraction/mos.

Nervous at first.

Joseph_S, Jun 2023
I was nervous about buying the pass at first. I have struggled with electronic ticketing in the past. It was available instantly. It was great being able to choose what we did. We made it through the New England Aquarium, Boston Harbor Cruise and part of the Museum of Science.

Kousalya_L, Jun 2023
Had a great time. Worth every dollar. A complete 2-3 day trip is recommended rather than covering all in a day.

Great value

Gina_B, Jun 2023
It’s a great way to see many attractions around Boston and save money at the same time. The aquarium was very unique. My kids were a little too old to enjoy the science museum (19 & 15), but we thoroughly enjoyed the other attractions.

It was good

Ashleigh_C, Apr 2023
No complaints. It was enjoyable. Went to the Franklin park zoo and the aquarium both were awesome. Wish I had more time to do the other things but ran out of time due to having to cut my trip short

great deal for a day trip to Boston

Maggie_P, Feb 2023
10/10 great experience. we got to see the science museum, aquarium, zoo, & harvard museum! We learned so much and had the best day

A Bargain!

Beatrice_E, Feb 2023
It’s a great bargain! The Zoo was great as was the Aquarium! Looking forward to the Museum of Science and Harvard Museum of Natural History!

Great experience, great value.

Chrystal_J, Nov 2022
We chose to do the boat cruise, aquarium, zoo, and museum of science. The experiences were amazing. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.

Amazing time with my family

Julia_C, Oct 2022
Amazing time, my brother loved he and he usually doesn’t like trips :/! But he loved it all :) great!

Viator app is pathetic for planning

Faisal_A, Aug 2022
Review is of Viator app and not the Boston City pass. I bought the ticket on viator app. It showed the tickets on day 1. After I used it in Franklin zoo the status of the ticket changed to completed and could not show in the app. The city pass is for 9 days and now I have to rummage through wifi to get my email where the passes were sent. Viator app says that bookings are avialable offline which is not true. Be aware. Or just buy it on city pass website. There is no value to use the viator app whivh I was thinking of using to have all my tickets in one place for convenience.

Great trip

Leanne_G, Aug 2022
The Zoo which was awesome, a harbor cruise, an amazing Aquarium, and the Science Museum all in less than 48 hours. Great 2 day vacation.

Boston tours

All was paid for ahead of time and it made it easy for us. The sight were amazing. Enjoyed the duck tour the best info.

Finding out that my ticket doesn't cover what I was told spent the day waiting for whale watching then came to find out its not even the right ticket they sold me

Worth Every Penny!

Regis_S, Jul 2022
You won’t regret it, especially if you have a group of two or more people. The city cruise was very informative; both the museum of science and the aquarium were fun for the kids. Overall, great experience.

City Pass - What a Deal!

Patricia_C, Jul 2022
The Aquarium, Science Museum and Water Cruise were fantastic. We learned so much history and science discoveries that impact our daily living. The City Pass is a deal!
