This was one of the highlights for our DC trip. You get to cover alot of land without getting pooped out.
You meet at their headquarters to practice using the segway. Takes awhile to get your body used to balancing. You travel in a small group to the government mall with your guide showing the way, and keeping the idiot pedestrians in check. You have to constantly yell at the pedestrians that you are coming up on their left or right or they just walk in front if you.
We got to see most of the monuments with stops at WW II, Jefferson Memorial, Franklin Roosevelt Memorial, Lincoln Memorial and Martin Luther King Memorial. It was great to see them up close and personal.
As this was the heighth of the Cherry Blossom bloom it was very, very crowded. It became tiresome watching out for the people as they weren't alert. While on foot a car almost hit my husband and I in crosswalk.
Our guide was knowledgable and entertaining. We got our monies worth.

A fun way to see a lot of DC sights in a little bit of time. The Segways are easy to learn, and the guides are very knowledgable of the DC area.

I really enjoyed this tour. It was a laid back, informative tour and we saw a ton of cherry trees. We went around the tidal basin and made several stops. We stopped at the Jefferson Memorial and Lincoln Memorials and were given adequate time to check them out on our own while the guide stayed with the Segways.

We braved the cooler morning of the first day of spring to see a reasonable amount of blossoms, it was a last minute thing for us and we've enjoyed riding segways before. The tour was informative, went to a few places that we hadn't been to before and we had a knowledgeable tour guide, All in all, a cold but good morning out. Thanks
