Great Mt Vernon tour.

Great tour. Driver was excellent. He turned us loose at Mt Vernon and we did the tour of the property on our own. Easy to walk the grounds. We took the golf cart type of vehicle down to the Wharf. Highly recommend taking the cart. Try the Peanut soup in the restaurant. The driver returned at exactly the time he said. Drove us thru Alexandria. Nice place to visit on your own Definitely worth the money.

Excellent tour with very knowledgeable guide.

Excellent tour. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He shared many stories of history and showed us a lot of historic sights. He drove us through Old Alexandria on the way back from Mt. Vernon and took us by the Iwo Jima Memorial and stopped for photos. I was very impressed with his knowledge. Mount Vernon was beautiful and all the guides were knowledgeable. Be sure to pick up the free audio guide when you arrive. I highly recommend this tour. We had a great time!
