Great tour!

Our guide who I wish I could remember her name was so amazing! This tour was so fantastic and fun! We got to see all the awesome sites of Rome and had many photo stops. This was one of the few golf cart tours that take you to Vatican City, which was awesome to see. Plus it included gelato. We had just gotten to Rome that afternoon and for whatever reason the Ubers and taxis we ordered kept canceling one or two minutes before they reached us so we had to take a bus and got there late. I was calling the contact number to ask them to please wait for us. When they couldn’t wait any longer, I dropped a pin to where we were waiting and the person I was in contact with drove over and picked us up in his car and met up with the golf cart tour so we could take the tour. It was over and above and so appreciated.

Vatican with teens in the summer

Christina,, our guide, was knowledgeable and funny. She also navigated the group efficiently. We had two teens with us and they enjoyed the tour with her. Midday June was hot, as not much is air conditioned, but the trade off to the heat was less people. The headsets were also easy to use and hear. We enjoyed this tour!

A+ Tour!!

This was one of the best tours I've ever done on any vacation. Our tour guide, Dario, was passionate, engaging, and knowledgeable. He took us through the Forums and Colosseum, explaining hundreds of years of history in an easily understandable way. We learned a ton on this tour and got some excellent photos. The arena floor is not to be missed! It was very hot in the afternoon sun and Dario was conscious of finding us shady spots to stop in and making sure we had time for water breaks. The three hours flew by and we left feeling like we really understood this part of ancient Roman history. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

The tour was quite comprehensive and moved at a good pace. I liked the size of the tour group and our guide (Marco) was engaging and fun. Meeting at Crown Tours was simple to find our group although an hour before the tour is a long time to stand around. The tour office has no where to sit, some air-conditioned space inside, no washroom facilities and although I understand the desire to have the group present and ready to go in advance of the tour, it was a long wait with little shade.

What a fabulous day! Nicholas, our guide with perfect English & Pino, our driver, collected us from our hotel in Rome & whisked us off to Pompeii where we were met by an expert for a fascinating 2-hour tour which really brought it all to life. Then off along the Amalfi coast where Pino excelled at navigating the mindblowing hairpin bends & squeezing past other traffic when there really wasn’t enough room, giving us stunning views all the way to Positano for lunch. Nicholas answered all our questions along the way, & was not only knowledgable & charming, but got us a beach-view table for an absolutely delicious lunch. It was a very big day, made much more enjoyable by Nicolas & Pino - highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing. Was well worth it.

Roberto was fantastic. We had such an amazing day. Roberto picked us up and drove us out to mazzano Romano where we stopped at the local shops. We even had samples of meats at the butchers where all the meat came from their farm. The cooking location was amazing and Roberto was such an amazing teacher and chef. We can’t thank him enough for such an amazing day. Can’t wait to come back and do it again.
