Amazing evening tour of Rome!

We had the most incredible experience on our evening golf cart tour with Turtle Tour and it was truly all thanks to our guide, Renato! From the moment we met him, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and engaging. That immediately set the tone for a fantastic night. As a local, he brought Rome to life in such a genuine way that you could really feel his passion and pride for the city and its history. What really made the tour special was how knowledgeable he was. He asked what we were interested in and went above and beyond, showing us not only the highlights but also places we never would have found on our own. He even taught us how to drink the water from the drinking fountains around the city...yes, there is a trick and yes it is safe and the most amazing water you will ever tasted. Since we’re coming back to Rome after our cruise, he also gave us a great list of recommendations, which we really appreciated. His English was perfect and everything felt smooth and effortless. The tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip so far, and seeing Rome at night made it a completely different and unforgettable experience. It’s also a great way to take in so many sites in one tour. We highly recommend it especially and because of Renato!

Itziana was a wonderful guide!! We truly enjoyed her personality and had a wonderful time, even in the rain. Thank you for such a great experience! There’s was lots of walking, stairs (there is an elevator for anyone in need) & you should’ve prepared for the elements if weather gets cold or rainy cuz the tour will continue! Be prepared to show your tickets & documents many times just to get into the Colosseum then again to get into the Forum as well as going thru metal detectors! Everything was covered & we were able to access ALL of the special exhibits once inside! Very much worth the money to see & experience all of the history this space represents!

We did the early morning small group tour of the Vatican with our guide Ciara. She was full of information and very knowledgeable of the history. We only had 11 people in our group. It was wonderful. We did the Vatican museum first, then the Sistine Chapel and st Peter’s basilica. So much information. Highly recommend Ciara.

Our tour guide was exceptional!

The tour began a little rocky as the meeting point is outside and the employees were not marked as advertised at all. I think the company works under several names. Thankfully we asked someone with a clipboard where the address was we were seeking and it happened to be our tour group. It seemed very disorganized, no one was taking lead on giving people direction and when someone asked questions the woman working was very curt. Eventually we were brought together as a group and the Nicholi, our tour arrived and he was awesome. From that point on the tour was amazing! He was a wealth of knowledge, very professional. He kept the tour interesting, 3 hours went by so fast! My husband and I enjoyed the tour very much, the guide completely saved the day. The business side of things definitely needs improvement.

Great Experience!

Fantastic experience! Neurami gave us an amazing day! Archie was a very safe driver. It’s obvious that Neurami is passionate about the information he shares and keeping all of the group happy. He made an informational book that he uses to educate about the different sites on the tour. He was fun, patient and helpful with our 4 young children. We all had a great time! Definitely would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Italy!

A Wonderful Way to See Rome in a Day

Truly seeing all that Rome has to offer would take days, if not weeks. But, if you want a good, clean, safe, and efficient way to see the highlights in a day coming from the cruise port in Civitavecchia, this is the way to go. A private car took us into the city and showed the sights with nearby parking. We pre-arranged a timed entry to see inside of the Colosseum and had a great experience there. We also got to see the Forum from several angles even though we did not go inside. We saw a bit of everything including St. Peter’s Square and the Trevi Fountain. One highlight might have been the beautiful Christ the Redeemer statue by Michelangelo in the Church of Santa Maria Soprano Minerva. The only negative was that they tried to steer us to a more tourist lunch but we begged off and enjoyed slow food at a Michelin recognized spot near the flower market.

Absolutely amazing. Was well worth it.

Roberto was fantastic. We had such an amazing day. Roberto picked us up and drove us out to mazzano Romano where we stopped at the local shops. We even had samples of meats at the butchers where all the meat came from their farm. The cooking location was amazing and Roberto was such an amazing teacher and chef. We can’t thank him enough for such an amazing day. Can’t wait to come back and do it again.
