We took the night golf cart tour. Our guide, Simon, was very friendly and showed us some wonderful spots around town. Our favorite was a beautiful church I didn't know about before and we were able to go inside and view. Simon was also patient with us at stops that we took time for pictures. Thank you for a great evening, Simon!

We should’ve done this tour on our first night in Rome instead of the last! Our tour guide, Dan Red, was fun and knowledgeable! He brought us to the best “secret” spots near each stop so we could take the best pictures! He even recommended a few restaurants and dropped us off there after the tour.

Hi lights at night

I have used Viator before and did not hesitate to book with them. Having said that, our guide, David, was very nice and knowledgeable but..his microphone did not work so he was shouting to be heard over traffic and was constantly turning to face us instead of road. We also missed seeing colosseum at night. Trevi and the Pantheon at night are super crowded. It gets chilly at night so you need a jacket ot sweater

We booked this last minute while at dinner in Rome. So happy we did! The 11pm tour was amazing with no traffic and quiet streets so we saw a lot in an hour and a half. Everything was so beautifully lit, no lines and great photo ops. Mano our driver was excellent, very fun and attentive and really personalized the tour to make it special. My 17 year olds loved it too!

Experience fell short from the description. As a result, it is definitely overpriced.

Easy booking and info provided. Clear and easy to find meeting point. Cart arrived on time. I was 1 of 6. Our guide "Sa" was friendly and cheerful. In the seat next to him was someone who he talked with (in Italian) when he was not speaking to us. Very early in the ride, he opted to not use the microphone. If I sat in the rear, I would have asked that he use the microphone. At the end, my friend and I left disappointed. I believe that Sa could have spent more time talking to us about Rome and less time with the person next to him. I understand that traffic and roadways limit access, but several sites, particularly the Colosseum, we arrived at a location with a very limited view. While on the cart, the pace was fast. I wasnt able to take a decent picture unless we were stopped. This experience could have been better. As is, its overpriced. Incidentally, days before, I took a golf cart tour from another company in Florence. That was better but fell short with the meeting point and guide didn't have a microphone. The 2 persons in the back did not hear much of what the guide was saying to us.

Robin was great, I could have listened to him talk all night! You can tell he loves his city and is full of knowledge!!! Rome is beautiful at night…definitely book the tour! Unfortunately we had to hop off unexpectedly due to a medical issue but Robin was very kind and understanding. Thanks Robin!

The major issue that I have with this tour is that it was shorter than the promised 90 minutes. Our guide picked us up 15 minutes late. In addition, we only went to 3 of the 7 places that we were supposed to go to. Our guide included the third place because he overheard our conversation questioning the places that were supposed to be included in this spot. The guide was nice. He answered questions but it would have been nice if he added stories as part of the tour. Do not book the brief tour. There is another that is 3 hours. Perhaps then you will see all 7 places promised on this tour.

Matt was a fabulous guide!! He took us to all the scheduled stops as well as some hidden gems. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and accomodating. He told us about the history and traditions of the spots and also kept it very entertaining. He took his time and we felt very comfortable! Definitely recommend!!!

Refunds don’t come easy they cancel your tour.

Original tour cancelled a few hours before scheduled. It happens, I understand. Rebooked, our baby causes us to miss rebook in early evening (7:30pm) of our last nite in Rome. See, it happens. Tour company provides seats on the 9:30 tour. The driver shows up 20 mins late then proceeds to inform us he’s booked for 9 people and only has 7 seats. We are booted off the tour. Multiple requests for refund, tour operator dragging their heels even when they promised to provide refund confirmation by end of day. Viator refuses to support your refund unless you have irrefutable evidence (texts, emails) and even then it’s a struggle for them to refund your money. Everything is great when it works well, but when it does not Viator and tour companies will do everything NOT to refund your money. Be warned.

Golf cart night tour with Robin!

Robin was our guide and he was extremely personable, knowledgeable and was an absolutely outstanding guide! He provided excellent details and historical information as well as making it fun. A golf carts through pebble stone streets and alleys of Rome is a great way to be close to all the happenings! You feel like you are immersed in Rome and its nighttime atmosphere. I highly recommend this tour, but even more, recommend Robin, he made it great!
