Pompeii Amalfi/ Sorrento FastTrack!

Overall I would say this is a wonderful tour. The tour is a fast paced tour over a span of 12 hours; and we got to see everything that was advertised. It was fantastic to go to all the locations in this short period. However I wish we spent a bit more time in Pompeii, lunch could or should have been a pre fix menu and that may assist with making it faster or easier. Sorrento was very short; we barely had time for a Gelato and souvenir shop. Overall Desiree did a great job making sure everything went smooth and well.

Good tour guide but Sorento experience disappointing

Pompeii- great. We added a tour guide for an extra $20 euros per person. Bring cash if you have not booked a guide. Amalfi coast drive- was fine, highlight was the driver playing the trumpet. Finally- tour company has lunch planned at a busy restaurant. By the time we finished our food and received our bill, we only had 17 minutes to explore. That was the most disappointing part of the trip. I would’ve preferred to skip the coordinated lunch to do lunch on our own so that we could explore Sorrento. Tour guide is really nice and tries to find creative ways to keep everyone entertained.

Very nice full day excursion from Rome. Tour coordinator Desiree was very sweet and informative. Nice small size group. Pompeii was fascinating with more to explore. Māori in Amalfi is beautiful. Kudos to the drivers navigating the narrow roads through the hills. Hope to return again to explore of Pompeii and rest of the Amalfi coast.

Our guide, Desiree, was fantastic. Her communication both before the tour and throughout our day was absolutely fantastic. Our only bump in the road was a tad more traffic due to a country wide shutdown at the time. So we were a bit late and rushed through our Pompeii tour. That said, Francesca, our Pompeii tour guide was great! She was extremely knowledgeable and did her best to ensure we hit all of the highlights and enjoyed our time. Our next stop was Maiori a tiny town on the Amalfi coast with the longest continuous beach in all of Amalfi. The town itself was adorable with many little shops, restaurants, and cafes. We had lunch as arranged with help from our guide and were able to try the memorable Amalfi Spritz while there. After we had ample free time to do some shopping, have espresso overlooking the beach and then wander the beach itself. This was the only tour I found that had beach access & had time allowed if you wanted to go swimming! It was a bit chilly today but we had a fantastic time walking the beach and looking at all the beautiful smooth pebbles in the soft black sands. We traveled back to Rome in 9 passenger vans enjoying some fantastic views along the way. I’m so happy we found this tour and got to spend the day with some great people!

Exploring Pompeii and lunch/swimming at Amalfi was great. Could have used more time at Pompeii. Drive from Pompeii to Amalfi was extremely windy and many of the passengers got motion sickness. Most of the time was spent driving.

Great Day Trip to Pompeii!

Overall, it was an amazing experience. We were picked up in Rome and driven to Pompeii, where we met our guide. The two-hour tour was incredibly informative, covering the rich history of Pompeii and what happened to the town and its 20,000 inhabitants during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. After the tour, we had some free time to grab lunch and explore the site at our own pace, which was a nice touch. The bus picked us up around 4 pm for the return journey to Rome. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to experience the history of Pompeii firsthand. It’s definitely worth the time!
