Easily the best tour I took in Rome. The company was excellent. The tour guide was incredibly passionate about showing everyone his home city of Rome. We learned things and saw sites that we had not seen yet, which was awesome. The history of Rome is amazing and this tour absolutely expanded on it. Well worth it and I highly recommended the tour operator.

Federico is possibly the best tour guide of any guide—ever! He makes the people of the past come alive so that you see their perspectives on life. And since so much of Rome is about history, this was better than I could have hoped. While the catacombs and the Appian way are interesting, and the golf cart was fun, the best memories will be in better understanding of the history of how Christianity developed as it did in the Roman Empire.

Excellent visit to Roman catacombs. The whole experience was first class and I would highly recommend it. As well as the catacombs, we visited several interesting sights along the via Appia. Our guide, Federico, was great. He was very knowledgeable, very friendly and a great driver. The golf cart was an ideal way to see parts of Rome beyond the city centre.

The golf cart experience was very comfortable. We could not have done the bike tour. We not only saw the Appian Way and Catacombs, but also many sites of Rome on the Way to the Appian Way. The guide. Federico, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic in sharing. We appreciate his sincerity and respect for the Christian experience.

This tour was the highlight of our visit to Rome. It certainly was a "small group"-- just us and one other couple! The golf cart was a novel way to get around, and enabled us to get great views of all the sights as we drove about. The catacombs and the Appian Way provided us with new insights into some fascinating Roman history. Nick was an exceptional guide-- very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended.

We loved our guide and this tour so much. Don’t save it until your last day as the guide gives great recommendations and key information on sites around the Colosseum. It’s relaxing as you ride on the golf cart, guide was great and from the US and we really enjoyed the whole experience and learned so much and saw so many additional ruins. Highly recommend.

Wonderful golf cart tour experience with Silvia. She arrived at the tour company’s soon to be new location (which isn’t marked in any way) 15-minutes before the start of the tour. The golf cart was clean and ready for the forecasted occasional rain and cooler temperature. Silvia was friendly and extremely knowledgeable on the history and sights we saw. She did a fabulous job of navigating extremely busy traffic, keeping us on time for scheduled sites at the catacombs, and keeping us safe at the same time. We covered a lot of ground and saw many things. We even got a rainbow while passing Circo di Massenzio. The catacomb was amazing. The churches were beautiful and fascinating. A tour that is well worth the time and the price. Highly recommended.

This is a great trip to get an understanding of both the city, the Appian Way and the Catacombs of St Sebastian. Being a small group in a golf buggy the trip goes at a nice pace with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Our guide Antonella was absolutely great, with a degree in history and love for the coty and its history she is a fountain of knowledge. Can’t recommend it enough.

This was a very intimate tour with only 7 people. Nick was very approachable and knowledgeable. He kept the conversation lively. Exchanging historical facts with interpersonal information. We viewed incredible sites throughout the city with opportunities to ask questions and take pictures. The catacombs were an incredible experience. A perspective from a different angle. Frederico was so warm, funny, and knowledgeable about the history of Rome. I’ve been to Rome before but his story telling really brought the city to life. He asked what the group was interested in seeing and he delivered on all our expectations. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning about the history of the architecture, Roman ingenuity, and how religion was ever changing during the Roman Empire. So much packed into this tour.
