Amazing experience! Margarita, our guide, was absolutely amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history, and delivered it in a fun and interesting way! 10/10 would recommend. You get to see the sights without all of the laborious trekking to each location. We did a tour with the same company earlier in the day and we liked it so much that we booked this tour to the catacombs!

This was such a great tour. It was fun to ride in the golf carts and our tour guide Sicily knew so many fascinating facts about Rome and Christian history there. We were a family of 7 with kids ranging 8-16 years old. They really liked the catacombs

Guide Federico was great! Very personable and wanted to make sure you had a great time in the tour. Very knowledgeable with nice history of the city and the history on the catacombs

This was a very informative and welcoming tour. I appreciated the detail to the information given during the golf cart tour. The head sets worked great and they ensured we could hear what was being said. Both tour guides were respectful and went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent tour! Thank you!

We were genuinely surprised at how great this tour was. Booked it for our last day in Rome having done all the major sites already and didn’t know what to expect. It was a great way to see a different side of the city without the crushing crowds. The guide himself was what made it. So knowledgeable and energetic - he really engaged the group in the history of the place, especially the kids. 100% recommend.

It was a great tour . Especially the catacombs . It was my first visit and it was beyond my expectations.

Fantastic guide. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice to the children and knowledgeable for the area get to see a different side of Rome.

This is my second time on this tour; I took my mother last year, and my teenaged son this year. Both tours were quite good, although we had different guides who took different approaches.
My only warning is that the catacombs are not for the faint of heart. They are an important aspect of early Christianity and Roman history, and there are no visible bodies. But, it is the type of place that many might find uncomfortable.

Full of information and great attitude!!! Our guide was very personal!! A must do for everyone!!!!!!

Our guide Nick was great, very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. We all thought the tour was good value and would recommend

Extremely bumpy ride and guide kept cutting out but that's probably because we were in the other cart. Guide was very knowledgeable but it was very difficult to see out of the sides of the cart and then when we had to sit in the very back facing the other way we had no idea what he was speaking about. Good tour if all you want is a history lesson but if you are wanting to see the places along the route and take pictures not so much.

We booked this at the last minute after being so tired and hot from our summer day...the grouchy family did not want to go. But, afterwards, we were so glad we did!! Sylvia was a great guide and gave us so much information and insights that we wouldn't have known or seen otherwise. Seeing the catacombs is really an opportunity you don't want to miss.

The leader (think it was Fredrico) was a very knowledgeable, friendly tour guide. He clearly described the Roman times and was very friendly to my 8 year old daughter. I highly recommend the tour!

Nick was fabulous and very informative. A great tour (3 hours) of Rome neighborhoods, major sites and Catacombs. A great way to see the best of Rome with very little walking. Highly recommend.

Federico was amazing. He has such knowledge and passion for ancient Roman architecture and the early Christian church. It was a true pleasure and totally would recommend any tour with him!

Arvin was a charming and enjoyable tour guide. I learned things I never knew about Rome, spas, and Italian history. The tour of the catacombs was exceptional and my family enjoyed how much we were able to see in an afternoon. We all felt like these were things many people never know about in Rome and that made it cool.
Rebecca_B, Jun 2026
A great way to see these sites! The ride was comfortable, and the guide was professor-level knowledgeable as well as entertaining.

After just arriving on a long trip from the states, being able to sit down and be whisked around central Rome by friendly knowledgable tour leaders was the perfect plan.
Sylvia our guide really knows the history well and shares it in the perfect way: just enough and with personality.
My wife and I had been before and we were introducing our teen sons. We all had a great time.
Your on a golf cart which makes it so much easier to navigate traffic and ride was comfortable. There are 2 seats facing back wards and you might want to consider if car sickness.

Our guide made this tour something I'll never forget. We explored the Appian Way and the Catacombs by golf cart, which was the perfect way to take it all in without feeling rushed or exhausted. But honestly, the real star of this experience was our guide — she was so energetic and knowledgeable, and had this incredible gift for presenting history in a way that actually stuck. Walking (or rather, riding!) through ancient Rome felt vivid and real, not like a history lecture.
And for those of us who are a little nervous about traffic in Rome — don't worry. She drove with total confidence, navigating the roads smoothly the whole time. We never once felt unsafe. If you want to experience one of Rome's most historic corridors in the most enjoyable, memorable way possible, do not skip this tour.

Guide was amazing. Saw so much in a short trip with a very knowledgeable guide. I would not have been able to walk to all of the sites on my own. Wonderful!
Roberto_T, Jun 2026
The tour guide is very knowledgeable and passionate when teaching about the historical events and helping you getting into context.
Caroline_D, Jun 2026
Our tour was led by Antonella. She was incredibly knowledgable about Tome and its history and her enthusiasm and stories kept us entertained the whole time. The tour of the catacombs was not led by Antonella but it was very interesting. The catacombs are cool which is a nice break from the summer heat but they are very dusty so be careful if this will affect your breathing.
Kevin_T, Jun 2026
Golf cart was comfortable and our guide was funny and interactive. We saw all the advertised sites as well as some other ones from the cart along the way. Highly recommend!
Constantine_T, Jun 2026
Our guide, Nick, was excellent. He was well-informed, articulate, concise and friendly. The tour was time and money well-spent.
Joanne_A, Jun 2026
Fabulous tour. Frederico our guide was knowledgeable, passionate and simply great. The tour was well organised, it was a small friendly group and not many tourists where we went so was quiet, relaxing, interesting, and thoroughly enjoyable.
Elizabeth_S, Jun 2026
I found this to be a fascinating tour, especially of the catacombs. Remarkable preservation and restorations. Fascinating history. Amazing to walk the same streets of 2000 years ago. The Vatican guide for the catacombs was very informative and articulate.
Shelley_M, Jun 2026
This was cancelled at the last minute stating " we thought we could get last minute tickets". They charged me, but never refunded my money, when THEY were the ones that cancelled. Now I have to try to get my money back.
Robert_P, Jun 2026
Not a difficult tour, some stairs involved, easy pace when walking. All guides were excellent
A lot of history in this place, it was also nice to drive by some of the more famous places, like the colosseum.
Dawn_N, Jun 2026
Fun way to see a bit of the city. Catacombs were a very interesting bit of history. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.
Geoff_B, Jun 2026
This is a great way to get out of the crowds and see another side of the eternal city. Our guide (Nick) was terrific, very knowledgeable and friendly and adapted the itinerary to our specific interests while still showing us everything that was planned... even dropped us off close to our hotel to save the walk back. Don't miss the Quo Vadis Church!
Peter_L, Jun 2026
This tour is a very good way of seeing a lot of sights in a short time, with good information provided by the guide en route.
