Great tour and tour guide

I cannot say enough great things about this tour and our tour guide. Christina was both delightful and incredibly knowledgeable. She made the history come alive and shared so many details. The tour moved at a perfect pace and she was engaging with everyone. I would highly recommend this tour for any group and any age as she was great at making everything understandable regardless of your age. It was a great first tour for our 2 week trip through Italy.

Hot but worth every penny!

We went in the dead of summer! It was hot. Our tour guide took all of this into consideration and gave us all of the history while in the shade. Regardless of the heat it was incredible! A very good tour! I do wish we had a little more time during the tour to move around a bit more and take time to venture and take pictures in some areas. But other than that it was wonderful!

Alex was great but we were baited and switched by Viator.

Several weeks before We booked a different tour which was canceled four hours before we were to be picked up. Viator would refund our money but they couldn’t manage to get us on a same priced tour. Of course the new tour was a good bit more and it didn’t meet at our hotel. That said, this tour was great. Golf carts are super nice. Our guide Alex is new to this job but was so knowledgeable and fun. It ended up just being us as the other couple didn’t show. Would highly recommend booking and asking for Alex!

I highly suggest seeing the Colosseum with a knowledgeable tour guide like ours! The detailed history adds SO MUCH to being there! Kopal was so knowledgeable about the history and she included visuals of what the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Forum were actually like in their original state. It's well worth the time & expense--get up early and take the tour early, then go enjoy a well deserved Rome lunch & nap!! Ciao!

Our guide Ken was amazing he walked us through everything as well as explained the history and even showed us the before and the after of the sights we saw. One of the most iconic moment was when walking to the arena floor and hearing Ken tell us a story to help us imagine. Let me tell you that when he did this I was able to imagine myself as an actual gladiator. I felt like I needed to raise my hands to get the full effect. That’s a tour guide that can tell you a story.

Fantastic day out

A must do! This was so much fun 🤩

We were collected on time, instantly made to feel relaxed and taken on our tour. Our driver Simone (I hope that's spelt correctly) was knowledgeable, professional and fun! We were taken to some fab spots around Rome where Simone took plenty of photos of myself and my friend. We also had a bottle of Prosecco, lots of laughs and memories were made! The driver was at the pick up point ahead of time but waited until we approached after our cuppa. He was a very safe driver and happy to mind my small carry bag whilst we went and took photos at our various stops. Plenty of time was allocated at each stop for us to enjoy the location and take photos. He made sure we didn’t miss the 12 o’clock gun, which was great to see. He also dropped us a little closer to our hotel as we’d been so punctual at every stop.

it sucks that you have to pay such a crazy amount for something that the colosseum sells for much less. but for what is worth, this works, we were able to have our underground tour. This company plans the forum tour, then they leave you on your own to go to the colosseum and meet with the colosseum tour lead (not part of this company). Our spanish Forum tour with Tricia was very good.
