The tour guide was not engaging and took over 90 minutes before entering the galleries. She spent way too much time near the gift shop and people were already leaving the tour. She was giving explanations about the sistine chapel from a poster in the courtyard. We left the tour because we spent so long listening to her talk without even going inside the galleries. We went inside and found a great audio tour on my phone which was much more informative and engaging. When we left, more than half the tour group left as well.

Could not understand guide. He talked about nothing Very disappointing. Missed the Sistine chapel Because our guide talked about bathrooms and timing and then lost us. It was stupid Need a refund

The details a place on this ad were horrible. They specified to meet at the meeting spot 10 minutes before we arrive to the Google Maps pin drop location that was provided 10 minutes before we then later found out that this location was a 20 minute walk from the actual meeting location.
As I was there early, I began messaging the company through the Viator app with no response. Going through the app advertisement one more time I saw that your emergency contact number. Once I spoke to this person on WhatsApp they were not helpful and just stated that we missed the tour and no refund to be provided. No alternate options were provided they wouldn’t even let us join our Tour that had already started even though we were gonna be late and miss half of what we paid for.
I’ve gone through the app again, and it does not say anywhere the actual meeting spot of where they wanted us to meet. All I know this Tour doesn’t even exist. It’s just an advertisement with a WhatsApp number.
Please do not make the same mistake I did. Book another tour or just book it Tour when you get here.

We'd like to clarify that the meeting point is clearly indicated both on the tour page and in the Viator confirmation email/voucher, along with a Google Maps link.
Also, all other clients arrived on time without issues, and the tour departed as scheduled. We always recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to avoid situations like this, as we cannot delay the group once the tour has started.

Today I did a group tour of the Vatican Museums, and it was an amazing amazing experience! The tour had an easy to find meeting point, we got warmly welcomed and presented to the guide Lorena, who made the 3-hour tour absolutely fly by due to her clear and charismatic storytelling
The Vatican Museums are obviously a must-visit in Rome, and the tour also included the breathtaking Sistine Chapel. (Though photos aren’t allowed inside the Chapel, experiencing Michelangelo’s masterpiece in person is unforgettable).

Could tell she loved retelling the history of The Vatican City, its art and the drama that surrounded the influencers of the time. Crazy how crowded the exhibits were, but obviously many want to see such incredible artifacts and art- so understandable.

Tour of Vatican Museum was excellent and very informative. Well organized. Simona was an excellent and engaging guide. The tour was very well organized and really focused on the important exhibits. The only drawback was the audio quality was poor.

We were on time at the designated meeting place and received our briefing . We proceeded to walk up to the Vatican City. As we approached the area where we crossed the street, the police stoped about 20% of our group. The guide was not interested in keeping our group together and proceeded to leave parts or the group. She proceeded on into the entrance of the Vatican without part of the group. We got left out and the guards would not allow us to enter. We had to spend all day finding tickets!!!! DISASTER GUIDE!! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!! If there are worse, I don't know where you could find them!!!! HORRIBLE GUIDE!!

Left our hotel with plenty of time to get to the experience (2 hours for a 50 minute journey), however the trains, buses and Ubers were all either full (these are so full you cannot push on) or 30mins + away therefore we were going to be late, I tried to call the experience to which they didn’t answer, also I messaged them on their chat to say I’ll be late. Once we got there (8:40) a lady told us we are on the next tour at 9:20 then 10 mins later she told us “oh no, you’ve obviously missed it” appreciate yes we were slightly late, however the lack of compromise from this tour operator in regards to either rebooking or a partial refund was really disappointing based on it being neither us nor the tour operators fault. Word of advice- do not book morning slots, they do not advise you of how busy these will be and then are exceptionally sarcastic when you are trying to request another experience or a refund, with no compromise at all. It does not make any sense that they wouldn’t keep the ticket money for themselves and simply return the service money.

Our tour guide was amazing!! Her English was very good, she was very knowledgeable and personable!!! we learned so much and it was very interesting! When we went into the Sistine chapel, she had taught us everything to look for, and it was absolutely amazing!!! we highly recommend this tour!!!!

İt is almost just a sistine shapel tour, it took 2 hours from meeting point to end of the tour but most of time spent with walking. I think problem is not guide, problem is the time and route(and firm who plan th tour). İf we cut spare time we just had 25-30 min with guide and give the firm 110€ for it.

The art. The guide talked a lot and was very informative but did not tell me when we entered the Sistine chapel.
He had told us, no talking and everyone including him were talking so I didn’t realize we were standing in the chapel. I failed to look up. My loss but I was thinking we were in a holding area about to enter the chapel.

There’s nothing against the tour operator or our wonderful guide, my gripe is with the fact that they simply let too many people in at the same time! This was not a tour but felt more like cattle being led to slaughter. Shoulder to shoulder, belly to back, fighting your way through when someone decides to stop to actually see something! This is a poor excuse for a museum tour and the blame lies square with the fact that there seems to be no regulation on the quantity of visitors. Our guide was wonderful from the LoveRoma tours through Viator and was extremely knowledgeable about all sorts of things about the Vatican and its history and the Sistine chapel but was very apologetic about the crowds. I’m glad I saw what I could see but I would not recommend this tour to anyone until there is regulation.

Rome traffic caused our commute time to be twice the length estimated (5 miles took an hour). We missed the tour, no credit given though I feel like the entry ticket price should be returned. We attempted to stand in line to gain entry and the wait was unbearable, bought tix through another agency to gain access the same day, cost was $60 per person.

Although our tour guide Samantha did the best she could for us not to stand in line under the hot sun to get in and was very knowledgeable about the history of the Vatican. It was not a very enjoyable tour due to the big crowd and hot weather. With that being said, it is a necessary tour bc it would have been so frustrating just to navigate the whole scene by ourselves.
