The meeting point is located on the second floor of the Colosseo metro station. It is situated in front of the entrance to the primary school. Our staff will be wearing a dark blue uniform with the City Walkers logo. Please arrive 20 minutes earlier and have an ID with you

At the end of the tour, you have free time inside the Colosseum. The guide shows to you the entrance to Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, where you can enter with the tickets provided.

Really enjoyable - great for bypassing queues
Picked express colosseum tour as had our 7 year old with us and thought it would suit her better and she was fine.

⛔️Avoid!!!⛔️
Began rushed, with first person we met, practically running us to the entrance meeting point. Even though we were early. Our tour guide seemed nice but unfortunately we could not understand her accent, so we didn’t really benefit from hearing her quiet, muffled voice on the super low quality headphone.
We did this same trip 4 years ago, it was amazing, the tour guide was a lovely Italian man who was very knowledgeable, and passionate. This time it seemed very poor in comparison.
We complained to Viator, with no joy, what a waste of money.
If you are English, don’t book, or you will be disappointed.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice. It was a very crowded day but he was able to maneuver through the crowds with ease.

Arrived 20-30 minutes early as asked. Took about 1.5 from that time to actually enter colosseum. Tour organizers clearly identified and great to work with. Security lines cannot be avoided. Could barely hear the tour guide from one ear headphones. Strong accent and execessive background noise. We booked an express tour but got put in the full tour including the Roman forum (which we separated from before entering). Didn’t even make a circle around the inside of colosseum. Kids completely bored and exhausted from heat and lines. Wasted time for a single picture inside. Skip this and see frm outside.

Though we always strive to make the best tour possible for all our guests; there is unfortunately no way around the summer heat, security lines and crowd flows that are controlled by the Colosseum Authorities.

Our guide was David and he told amazing stories in ways is actually remember. He broke things down and was so thorough and interesting. Even my teenager enjoyed it! We came out having learned so much and we enjoyed David's humor and wit.

Easy to find Meeting Point, Our Tour Guide Ben was very informative and Patient as we had an Infant with us in a Travel Stroller, Express Tour suites with a Baby in Tow and glad we Booked the Express

The express tour was anything but express. Couldn't understand guide over the radio headsets they give you- we had to leave 2 hours in because guide was fumbling around. Did not get the experience we paid for.

Thanks Victor for letting us join another group after we had gotten lost getting there..our tour guide was absolutely amazing and was able to add some comedy into our tour which was great considering that the history of the Colosseum is very morbid
My husband and I learned so much and we're able to get some amazing pictures. I would definitely try this tour to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Colosseum and time period.

Even with the purchase a slip the line ticket, the line was still long (an hour). Place of meeting wasn’t clear, I had to ask the person in the colloseum who directed me to the specific location. Guide was friendly but hard to understand. I texted and called to find the exact meeting place but no one answered. So communication wasn’t good. There’s lots n lots of people in the tour and they didn’t start on time.

They call this tour FAST TRACK it’s a real joke. It took over 1 hour to get in. You are better on your own. It does not speed the process.

Great tour and great way to skip the line! Finding the tour was a bit confusing but it was very organized, the group we were in was maybe 15 people and our tour guide Alessandra was the best! She was so nice and knowledgeable, and it was so sweet how she included kids on the tour and checked up on everyone. I’d recommend this tour for sure!
