Fun and practical Italian cooking

What a FUN experience! Our group of eight friends, ranging in age from 55 to 80, chose this cooking class as our self-proclaimed birthday party for two of us—and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our time in Rome! Our instructor, Mattia, was fantastic—funny, patient, engaging and great at keeping all of us involved. We laughed our way through making our own fettuccine, ravioli and tiramisu from scratch, and our Birthday Squad’s creations actually tasted pretty darn good too! Yum yum! This was truly hands-on, but completely doable for everyone in our group regardless of cooking experience. After all our hard work, sitting down together to enjoy what we had made—with wine, of course!—was the perfect ending. If you’re traveling with friends or family and looking for something different from another day of sightseeing, DO THIS! It was interactive, delicious and just plain FUN. Ramona is incredible

Ramona's choices of food were superb. She interspersed her remarks about food with the most fascinating historical facts. She took us to the Jewish "ghetto" and gave us a chance to try their cuisine. Her warmth and love for Rome was overflowing. I can't recommend her tour enough!

A wonderful experience

We had a wonderful, easy to follow, great Pizza and Tiramisu cooking class with Vittorio. Vittorio showed great approach to students, shared with us a lot of knowledge and answered all our questions with great patience. We highly recommend this class and our great chef. The cooking class is a special and unique experience in Rome.

What a fun night! Ana our cooking instructor was fun and helpful. She taught us the basics of making pasta and ravioli. The wine flowed freely during the class. And we made new friends. There were a total of nine people in our small group and that was perfect.

This Food Tour Felt Like Hanging Out With My Cool Zia in Rome

I went in with pretty low expectations for a food tour and left genuinely surprised. The food at every stop was excellent, much better than I anticipated, and the portions were generous, not the tiny "tour bite" you sometimes get. Wine was poured generously at each stop too, which was a nice touch. The real highlight was our guide, Toni. She had this warm, relatable "cool aunty" energy that made the whole thing feel like hanging out with a friend rather than a formal tour. She was knowledgeable about the food and the neighborhood, and great at keeping the group moving and organized through Trastevere. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Rome. Well worth the time and money.

Delicious, but wish we did earlier in trip

Marta was fabulous - she was our guide for the tour! We had a chance to experience a lot of great food - from trying beef tongue (don’t worry, you don’t have to pick that option), to 30 year aged balsamic vinegar (might me my favorite thing I’ve ever had), to delicious handmade pasta and delightful homemade ice cream. I think of doing our trip again, I’d have tried to do it earlier so I had some ideas of how I want to navigate all the food options in room

Fun and filling walking food tour.

Frederica (sp?) was outstanding. The stops we made we're wonderful and provided a wide variety sampling of Rome eats. The treks between the stops was filled with her extensive experiences of living in Rome her whole life and not just about the food. By the end of the night we were all completely stuffed (and a little tipsy)! Well done!

Daniel (I hope I spelled your name right!) was an AMAZING host. Very knowledgeable, energetic, funny, and a great guy! We had a marvelous time. The pizza was delicious, the suppli I could kill for someday, gelato fantastic, but my favorite food was the fried artichoke! Delicioso!! Thank you so much Daniel! The history was amazing as well. I admit I shed a couple tears in the Jewish district. Daniel is the greatest tour guide of all time. I know you want to live in Rome forever, but someday, may you also live in Power! Most memorable night of the trip

This experience far exceeded our expectations. It was a very personal experience as we were put in groups of 5-6 with all the wine we wanted, and samples of local cheese and sauces with no pressure to buy. Our table of 5 came in 3 pairs and a single, ages 79 to 27, but really felt like family by the end of the night. Can't recommend highly enough!!!!
