Hi this is Alyssa!
As a solo traveler, my tour guide he made me feel very welcomed and included. I would 100 percent do this again! He was amazing! Everyone from the captain of the boat to locals were so nice!

I loved the island but I wish it was shared ahead of time that “ shared “ boat meant sharing with 50 other people that are not on the tour as well . I booked this thinking sharing a boat with 15 of people on my tour or realizing we were going to packed like sardines into one boat with others . The guide was also a poor communicator and not organized . I would do this with a smaller private boat not a small boat with no room to enjoy I would also bring snacks.

On the boat: while we do not advertise an upper limit of 15, your date was also a national holiday, the single busiest week of the Italian summer, when every shared boat on the island sails full. We'll look at making the capacity expectation more prominent for holiday dates.
I do take the note on the guide and snacks seriously and am following up.

This was the highlight of our Rome trip. We wanted to take a break from the heat, and so glad we took a chance to visit Ponza Island! Our ten, eleven, and thirteen year old sons enjoyed swimming and snorkeling. Mara was a fun, well organized guide also! Just a truly fun, memorable trip. Thank you!!!

This experience was one of the biggest highlights of our Italy trip. We were feeling a little overwhelmed by the summer heat in Rome and needed a break from sightseeing, so this tour was exactly what we needed.
The day starts early with a bus ride to Anzio, followed by a ferry to Ponza. Once you arrive, you join your group and board a smaller boat for a tour around the island. Throughout the day, you stop several times in beautiful blue waters where you can swim and relax. Ponza is incredibly scenic, with views that feel like they belong in a movie.
This tour is ideal for anyone looking to spend plenty of time on the water. It is not really designed for exploring the island on foot or spending much time shopping, so keep that in mind when booking.
Mara was our host, and she was amazing. She kept track of everyone in the group, shared interesting local history and information about the areas we visited, and was simply a great person to experience the island with.
Be sure to bring your own towel, plenty of sunscreen, and motion-sickness medication if you tend to feel unwell after spending extended time on a boat.
Overall, this was a great experience and a much-needed escape from the heat and crowds of Rome. We would absolutely recommend it.

This is Italy’s best kept secret, spectacular boat tour with swimming in some of the most beautiful places on earth! Tour guide Mara was amazing and personable, she is a rockstar! I need to share this part because it was perfect, we stopped alongside a beautiful cliff where they served a pasta lunch with cold vino, brava! Then…. I’m thinking to myself how good would an espresso be right now?! The captain walks out with a fresh brew of the best espresso I’ve ever had! Perfecto!!! 5⭐️

What a wonderful day with a terrific guide named Mara. Everything was just perfect. One of the most beautiful islands with incredible deep blue clear water. From the ride over to the boat tour and back, nothing but a pleasant and positive experience, start to finish.

Bring some water with you. Though lunch was fantastic and water and wine was available at that point but not offered beforehand. Make sure you have a towel and sunscreen.

It was a great experience! The island is beautiful and we made 5 stops of about 20 minutes for diving. Worth every penny. Lunch is simple, but tasty! We left Rome in a minibus and soon arrived in Anzio to catch the ferry. The ferry ride is 1 hour and 30 minutes, which is a bit tiring, but it's worth it in the end! Tip for programming: stay on the island for at least 2 days, a shame we couldn't.
