An amazing evening! THe best Cooking Class we have had. Menu was amazing and the host is not only a professional Chet but so gracious hosting in her home. Great conversation and all the food was absolutely delicious. Cant say enough wonderful things!

A most fantastic Roman evening

What an absolute delight! Aria made it seem doable and worth the effort to make your own pasta. The dishes were delicious. The whole event was superb. Aria and her family welcomed us into their home (with a most amazing kitchen and garden) and were part of the magic of the evening I love to get a glimpse into the lives of people living where I travel and this was the highest achievement of that goal. Go hungry!!

This was one of the best things I participated in while visiting Italy. Iliana is wonderful. She welcomed us into her home and taught us how to make 3 different pastas, 3 sauces, along with bruschetta, tiramisu, and pastella. It was fun learning to make pasta and share a meal while learning about our lives and culture. It was my birthday and unbeknownst to me she came out with a special tiramisu containing a lit candle and sang happy birthday. It was a memorable evening I won't soon forget. If you have the time book Iliana's class. Her home is lovely and you'll have recipes to share for a lifetime. Plus she provides her contact information in case you have questions. She will be there for you even after the class is over. Highly recommend

Wonderful small group cooking class with pasta, tiramisu, and an appetizer. Three kinds of pasta were made so we really got some experience with rolling, cutting, and shaping. It was really good and seems like the skills we learned can be replicated at home! And we learned some ideas for sauces that were unexpected! The food was yummy!!!

The Most Authentic Cooking Experience in Rome

This cooking class in Trastevere was easily one of the best experiences of our entire trip to Rome. The moment we walked into Aria’s beautiful home, it didn’t feel like a tourist activity at all. It felt like being welcomed into a real Roman family home. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and incredibly authentic. Aria and her husband were wonderful hosts. They made everyone feel comfortable immediately. Her husband had a fantastic sense of humor and such a positive attitude that the whole class felt fun and relaxed from the beginning. Aria was an excellent teacher. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow, and she patiently showed us every step of the cooking process. During the class we learned how to prepare several traditional Italian dishes, including Cacio e Pepe, Pasta alla Norma, fresh ravioli with ricotta and spinach filling, homemade tomato sauce, vegetable batter, and an incredible Tiramisu. Everything felt authentic and hands-on. We laughed, cooked together, shared stories, and enjoyed the food we made in a beautiful Roman home. I was enjoying myself so much that time flew by. If you want something genuine, personal, and memorable in Rome, this is an experience I highly recommend. Aria is an incredible host and this class feels more like spending an evening with friends than attending a cooking class. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BEST part of the Honeymoon

Ahh life has been busy post honeymoon but we still think about this experience at least weekly… truly the best part of our honeymoon! They are the ABSOLUTE best! True gems. It felt like we were with long lost family/friends. We also still use her recipes today when cooking from scratch back here in the U.S. Without a doubt if we can visit again we will be reaching out to see if we can do another class. We promise this is worth booking - we encourage it!!! If you truly want an authentic experience and learn Italian recipes/cooking… this is it… not the large class style. And don’t worry, if you’re wanting to drink, wine is provided :)

We booked this pasta class for its intimate cooking experience and was beyond blown away. We were welcomed into their beautiful home and family. Ilaria was so kind and informative. She let us ask so many questions and took the time to share even more. Pasta making was so fun, but tasting homemade sun-dried tomatoes and olive oil from their farm was so special. This was THE most wholesome experience of our 5 day trip to Rome. Ilaria is charming, patient, welcoming and above all else the most magnificent chef. Ilaria and her family welcomed me and my two sons into their home with warmth. The whole evening felt like we were cooking/chatting with friends, never feeling rushed. The pasta was the best we had during our visit to Rome. Everything was fresh and plentiful, we had full belly's so make sure you go with plenty of room. We had an amazing cooking experience with Ilaria - one of the best excursions we have ever had. We enjoyed tasting 3 different appetizers, 3 different sauces, made 3 types of pasta, in addition to tiramisù. We enjoyed wine through the evening as well. We loved the hands on experience of making pasta. Ilaria was a great teacher, providing guidance and positive feedback along the way. We also enjoyed meeting Ilaria’s husband and children.
