Overview of Rome
Driving in Rome is crazy! Great to leave the driving to these competent people. This was a great intro into Rome in general. Tour guide was very friendly and pleasant. She helped with picture taking. The stop for gelato was very yummy! Disappointing that the road to access Vatican City was closed off during our tour.

Ilaria’s A STAR - Fantastic Tour to Enjoy & Remember
This tour is exceptional! Small group, went everywhere promised & more!! Our guide was a wealth of information & she even made suggestions after answering our numerous questions. Would highly recommend to everyone, so much nicer getting a personalized tour rather than off & on a large bus tour. A # of places were closed due to being Monday but she still took us to the different locations & provided the history of the area & buildings. Ilaria was fantastic, 10*** - please request her as your guide you won’t be making a mistake & will have a great time!!!

Great tour
Our tour guide Luca was absolutely excellent. He did a great job of explaining the history of Rome and all of the sites we were seeing. He easily navigated us through the crowds and through the streets to manage the tour well. This tour included the tickets to the pantheon, which was nice as we were able to walk right in. The tour also included a break for a tour provided gelato and a restroom. That was much appreciated. I highly recommend this tour to get to know Rome and Luca is a great tour guide.

Dan walking tour was great!!!
Dan was a wonderful tour guy. We went above and beyond what I expected in this 2 hour walking tour. He told us how to avoid lines in Italy, and took us to the tomb of the Apostle Saint Philip which has his feet visible to the public in a glass case. The area had also the femur of Saint James (not showed thankfully). The place is called the Basilica dei Santi Apostoli. What I found interesting is that people makes a line in that basilica to take a picture in front of a mirror that points to the ceiling and there is no line to see the tomb of the apostles. Looks like for them is more important to take a selfie of them and the ceiling, instead of being in front of the feet of Saint Philip. Maybe they are unaware that the feet of Saint Philip is there. Dan also took us to the Capella Della Madonna del’Archetto, smallest church in Rome, it only had seats for like 10 people, and is only open for 1 hour a day and Dan was so kind to take us there during the only hour it was open. Again, no lines to enter the smallest church, Dan told us people pass by and doesn’t even realize what that place is. Great experience with Dan as our tour guide.
