Must have tour one in Rome

We prepared to get a whirlwind tour of all the important sites in Rome. Besides the famous sites, there’s also a running narrative of the history and importance of that particular monument, statue, or building. We thoroughly enjoyed it and that it was well worth taking a time on the first day to explore all the sites before deciding on where we want to spend more time. Our tour guide.Shima was fantastic changing things around expertly as it started raining and she was able to bring us through the traffic and the rain and we still had an enjoyable time

Great tour

The earphones were wonderful. Patricia did a really good job of explaining things to us. Saint Peter’s Basilica was closed so we got to go into some special rooms that were very interesting, with important portraits. We didn’t bring water and we were very thirsty. Like I said, the earphones are a must to hear anything because it is so crowded. Great tour

Excellent visit to Roman catacombs. The whole experience was first class and I would highly recommend it. As well as the catacombs, we visited several interesting sights along the via Appia. Our guide, Federico, was great. He was very knowledgeable, very friendly and a great driver. The golf cart was an ideal way to see parts of Rome beyond the city centre.

Great tour!

It was a good experience and the guide was very knowledgeable. Be prepared that weather can dampen the plans for Mt. Vesuvius. We were looking forward to visiting but were unable to go; not tour’s issue as this was something beyond their control but something to be aware of. The tour did accommodate and even though the cancellation was not their fault, they compensated that part of the tour by taking us to Herculaneum in addition to Pompeii which is also a very sobering site.

Fabulous Learning Experience for All!

A fabulous tour with Valeria! We were a mixed group--one of us had been to the Colosseum and Forum many times, one never, and the rest once or twice. We ALL learned a lot and had a great time. Three hours absolutely flew by, which is always a sign of an excellent tour. Valeria is very knowledgeable and friendly and fun. She was also really flexible and made sure to end the tour close to where we were meeting friends. I would highly recommend this tour, and ask for Valeria!

A Frascati Faiytale to Remember

We arrived in Frascati by train from Rome in 20 min, met our friendly driver and were taken to a local winery who had been growing grapes and producing Frascati wines for generations. We learned the history of both the wine and this beautiful family who have succeeded to continue a tradition of superior wine makers. During every phase of this tour we could could feel the love of wine, love of family and love of Italy. Simply a superb tour if you want to learn about Frascati, enjoy some wine and olive oil and be present in a location that the elite Roman Soldiers relished for years and years. The owner and host, Paola, was informative about why they make Frascati here, told fun and interesting stories about her family and we explored the incredibly ancient wine caves (see pic). To finish our tour we were introduced to the cute town of Frascati, which featured a healthy amount of fine jewelry stores and even more flavorful baked goods, markets and restaurants! Dominique, our vivacious and knowledgeable local guide escorted us to her fav local restaurant where the owner and staff could not be more inviting and generous! So good we'll be back again!

Amazingly Priced, Can’t Miss Tour!

Paola was an exceptional tour guide with a wealth of knowledge and a fantastic attitude. Paola went at a pace that was manageable for all ages while making sure every pause a guest might need was turned into a knowledgeable moment for all of us! Paola was extremely friendly, happily answered all of our questions, and taught us more than we imagined was possible in a tour of this length. I would definitely book this again if I were to come back, and I recommend that you do the same! If all of their guides are like Paola I promise you won’t be sorry and that it was well worth the money.

Great your guide and interesting locations.

Toured three different sites. A piece of the Apian road, a section of the Claudia Aqueduct, and the San Sebastián Catacombs. The tour started at the Piramid train station where we boarded a small bus to the tour sites. The tour guide was knowledgeable and kept us informed the whole time. Overall, great experience.
