Book this experience! We done this on our first full day in Lisbon and we loved it! Our guide Jonathan (Jonny) was incredible! So friendly, great with the kids (6 and 9), funny and so knowledgeable! We were skeptical doing 2 hours with a 6 year old but it was the perfect amount of time. We saw places that would have been difficult to get to otherwise! And gave us ideas of where we want to go back to for more time! Jonny gave us recommendations for food and dropped us off at Time out market for lunch at the end of our tour! The children are still looking for Jonny when we are out and about 2 days later! If in doubt, just book!

Highlight of our Lisbon visits

The tuk-tuk tour was without a doubt one of the most beautiful experiences of our trip for us. Instead of a classic city tour, we got to know Lisbon in a personal, relaxed, and at the same time very interesting way. We would like to give special praise to our driver João Coelho. With his warm manner, his humor, and his knowledge of the city, he made the tour something very special. We felt welcome and in the best of hands from the very first moment. The route was varied, the organization perfect, and the atmosphere simply magnificent. Thanks to João, we were able to discover corners and views that we probably would never have seen otherwise. Anyone visiting Lisbon should treat themselves to this experience. For us, an absolute recommendation and worth booking again anytime.

Our Lisbon to Porto Private drive was absolutely wonderful! Ana was wonderful! She was so nice, professional and courteous. She was very informative and went completely out of her way to ensure that we had everything that we needed and to visit certain places, at our stop that were a must. Our first stop was Obidos, and it was amazing. The Ginja was so good! There is fabulous little Chocolate shop called The Chocolate House-AMAZING! If you go, you have to go by the Chocolate House. Our second stop was Fatima. I have been dreaming of visiting Fatima for many years. Ana was so gracious, respectful and understanding of my faith. I am a very faithful Catholic and being able to visit Fatima, was an overwhelming spiritual experience for me. She explained each building in detail, when we arrived and then she let us go, and spend as much time as we needed. I am very grateful to her for that. She set up a place for lunch, and after that we continued on to Porto. The drive was very smooth and comfortable. Once we arrived in Porto she recommended places that we should definitely visit, and even sent links on places to eat and go. It was just so nice of her and she did not need to go out of her way, the way she did. I highly recommend this experience, and highly recommend Ana! You will not be disappointed! Jennie & Greg

All Around Lisbon in Half a Day (and not feeling rushed!)

Call it a "Taste of Lisboa" tour. Seems we covered a lot of (varied) ground in a short period without being out of breath. Our guide, Diogo, was really excellent. I don't know if I was more impressed by his knowledge of history or his driving skills on Lisboa's impossibly narrow streets.

Skip the line Peña palace with Paulo

We had a delightful time exploring Sintra specifically Peña Palace with Paulo. We had skip the line passes which made the whole experience more enjoyable as he knew every short cut and bypassed many lines. Paulo has extensive local knowledge which added a lot of flavor to the experience. He knew right where to park and gave great tips so we could save some steps and find the best pastries. Because it was very foggy for the western most point, not his fault, and very busy in Caiscais, iron man race on our day, also not his fault, Paulo showed us little Versailles. Beautiful and very thoughtful on his part. We will definitely be back. Thanks for an amazing day.

Four hour tour with Rafael

The 4 hour private tour exceeded expectations. The van was large and clean and Rafael was a fantastic host. He took us to Sintra and made suggestions as to what to see and do. He then suggested a tour of Lisbon and he took us to all of the different areas of the city so that we could see how different they were from one another. We stopped for pictures at different times whenever we desired. Rafael was wonderful providing insight and history into whatever we visited. He was friendly and warm and his English was excellent. He ended the day by taking us to a wonderful park high in the hills overlooking Lisbon that allowed us to view the entire city from afar and showing all of the areas throughout that we visited. Great tour- definitely recommended!!!!

Raphael was our guide, and he was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The tour was great, and you get to see a lot in just one day! It covers Fátima, Batalha, Nazaré, and Óbidos. My only suggestion would be to either make the tour two hours longer—which might be a bit much for most people—or eliminate one stop so there’s more time to explore Óbidos or Nazaré. We were a group of four, including my 72-year-old mother, who has hip issues, so it took us a little longer to walk around and explore each place. Raphael was very understanding and accommodating throughout the entire tour, though, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Lisbon highlights

This half day personalized tour met our needs very well. We wanted to see major sights in Lisbon that were outside of walking range and to get a general perspective of the city. Claudia our driver/guide picked us up in a Mercedes van at our apartment and she was extremely polite, personable and provided history and commentary along the way. She adjusted our route based upon our interests and also navigated to avoid road closures and traffic due to a marathon being run.

Great informative and entertaining tour with Chiara

We have visited Lisbon several times over the last 35 years and this is the first time we booked a tour. It was well worth it. One misses out a lot by wandering around a city, which used to be our previous preferred option. Chiara was very knowledgeable and an excellent and entertaining raconteur. She seemed to enjoy imparting her knowledge. The tour was nicely structured from early days to more recent times. The pace was just perfect. Thank you.
