Lot of walking but worth it. Tour guide, James, was very knowledgeable and personable. He kept us to schedule but never made us feel rushed. The only negative was he was not clear on transportation from the pier back to the hotel. That was the one part of tour where we were on our own but I would still recommend taking this excursion

We apologize but transportation after Alcatraz is not provided. This allows guests to stay as long as they wish on Alcatraz on their own schedule.
We did advise guests to take the streetcar down to our initial hotel or to walk the few blocks to pick up their car.

There is little time to walk on the bridge during this tour.
Alcatraz was interesting. I’d go back and do the “behind the scenes tour”.

The Alcatraz tour was nice. The views were amazing from above. I enjoyed the audible tour learning the history and guiding us through the prison. I wish the group sizes were smaller so you can get a better experience. Everyone was trying to record and take pictures and stumbling over one another. The Golden Gate Bridge was better since everyone was spread out and not on top of one another.

Golden Gate + Alcatraz island were great but the tour guide was rude and dismissive from the start which ruined the vibe. The tour consisted literally of picking us up and dropping us off at the Golden Gate welcome Center then the Alcatraz tour Center. We might as well have booked an Uber.

The driver arrived and you started complaining about the price in front of other guests before he could even say hello to his other guests. You then asked if you would be given a ride home after Alcatraz to which these answers were well stated in the ad prior as not included. You then wanted to know what this tour was going to do and where it was going to go. All this before the driver could ever say his name to everyone!
You then kept talking over the driver while he was simply trying to check everyone in and get everyone situated. Then when you boarded you were confused about the order of operations and asked questions that the driver was going to answer on the journey. All you had to do it let us run our show and every question would have been answered for you!
There is a time and place to talk about price we charge and that is before you buy it. Read what we do; read our awesome reviews; and simply enjoy our show!
We provide a quality affordable tour with lots of information for one of the lowest prices in town for both Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Your walk the bridge package also included a breakfast voucher to which you enjoyed.
We make visiting the bridge simple without having to worry about parking at Golden Gate and Alcatraz. We provide historical information and entertain through documentaries. It is a quality tour that we (along with many others) find one of the best ways to see San Francisco.
If you simply wanted a ride to the bridge you could have just booked Uber yourself and let us save the seats for guests who wanted to be with us.

Driver James was awesome! Golden Gare Bridge was awesome! Alcatraz was cancelled, no power. Wasn't your fault, however we weren't able to rebook tickets on another day because we booked them through you. Had to pay again if we wanted to go.
AND, your emails are very annoying!! They all say get your tickets here, then we try to do that & it's not our tickets. TOO MANY EMAILS WITH JUST JUNK!!

No problem at all! We refunded this order as soon as we heard about the power outage at Alcatraz. They were unable to continue operations. Enjoy the Golden Gate portion with James on us.

Another negative review from someone who did not read our sales program nor was present for this tour. You can not rate this one star when you did not even show up.
We tell our customers well in advance that we will schedule you an Alcatraz time slot and a matching coordinated van time slot. It is not a surprise.
You were sent a morning tour and a morning van. Hardly an inconvenience when you booked the day prior and very lucky that someone cancelled so you could attend.
