While aboard the double-decker bus, listen to interesting information about the history and culture of popular places. Drive through many of the city’s main districts, including Embarcadero, Union Square, Chinatown, the Financial District, North Beach, the Marina District, and Haight-Ashbury.

Some sights you can see along the way include Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Lombard Street, Golden Gate Park, the Ferry Building, the Presidio, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Japanese Tea Garden, the de Young Museum, the War Memorial Opera House, and San Francisco City Hall. Check the bus route out & book your hotel close to a pickup spot. Otherwise you’ll have to pay for Uber shuttling you to & from a pickup spot. Gets expensive ~

Brilliant trip around San Francisco. If you choose to go across the Golden Gate, wear something warm as it’s very windy and cold.

Nice collection of stops for the Big Bus

The Big Bus red route seemed to cover a nice collection of sights around the SF area with stops at the Wharf, Pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge among many others. The favorite was crossing over the bridge on the other side to take scenic pictures of the bridge and the skyline along with Alcatraz. We rode the first trip all the way through, with only one hop off after we got over the bridge, which took about 2.5 hours. The app allows you to see where you are and where all the buses are located so you can estimate how long you'll wait for the next bus if you hop off. Another favorite was the blue route bus which is a non-stop one from the starting point to Treasure Island via Bay Bridge which had some great scenic picture opportunities on the other side of where you were on the red route after crossing Golden Gate. However, this side had the sunset added to your pics. Highly recommend stops at Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge and the park, and Treasure Island (Blue route).

This was a waste of our time and money. We used it for maybe an hour the first day never used it the second day. When we got off the cruise ship, we had to walk over three blocks to turn in our tickets even thought there was a stop right where the cruise ship docked. We ended up using Uber which took us right to where we wanted to go

Everything was great. Staff very friendly. In the sum better than expected. Good value for money. The only downside is that they run only one circuit so you cannot really make changes to the order you visit the city. The last bus ran at 17:30, later than advertised. That saved our day, thank you.

Excellent! Fantastic way to see the city and get a sense of its history. Great experience, I highly recommend the two day-all- day tour. It allows time to take in highlights and return to those locations you would like to spend more time at. The drivers are courteous, highly skilled and professional. It was great to leave the driving to Big Bus! They know the city’ terrain. Looking forward to other tour with Big Bus. Randolph

One guy can destroy all the efforts by others

Ever staff member was helpful and polite except one. Bus Stop 5 at 1030 on June 18 was unprofessional and unhelpful. We missed two buses because he said no empty places available even if 9 people left the bus in front of us. Finally, one helpful driver allowed us to enter even if this guy tried to stop us. Really a bad experience that destroy all the good job by many others.

If I can give this a no star I would. You have to wait over an hour sometimes to get on the bus again. You are better off walking and enjoying the views or take a Lyft.

I would recommend the 2 day tour. We were able to see all the sites, enjoyed a night tour and tour to Sausalito as well. Greg was an especially good guide. His voice was clear & easy to understand by my husband who has hearing aids. Greg had lots of information about the sites.
