Brad and Esteban were awesome—friendly, upbeat, and super knowledgeable. We stopped at three snorkel spots, with a generous amount of time at Molokini Crater. The visibility was incredible, and they even walked us through the geology of the crater, which made the experience feel extra special. We spotted green sea turtles up close and saw a pod of spinner dolphins from the boat—such a bonus!
The vibe on board was great, with plenty of snacks and drinks to keep everyone happy between swims. Overall, a well-paced, memorable adventure that balances fun, learning, and lots of time in the water. Highly recommend this Molokini Crater Zodiac Adventure—Brad and Esteban made it a standout day.

This was SO fun!! I accidentally lost my snorkel in the water the first time I jumped in 🥲 My bad 😭 but the tour guides were fantastic & the trip was incredible!! I was managing my expectations because we went the day after the hurricane passed, but the reefs were so lively and the water was so clear. Highly recommend!!

The crew was great and very knowledgeable. Very respectable they are good people. they actually did three stops in the crater and then around the backside where it drops down 400 feet that was pretty amazing and I’ve never seen such blue water.

This experience was stellar. The crew was very insightful, felt more like being shown around by family than anything. They had fresh home made scones, plenty of sodas and water. Great lunch after two hours of snorkeling. We had our parents, kids grandparents (both mid 70s) and they had the time of their lives. They even had corrective goggles for my daughter in law. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Overall, an average experience with some clear positives but also some disappointing aspects.
The boat is probably one of the smallest operating out of the harbor. While that can make for a more intimate experience, it also feels quite crowded once everyone is onboard, and the ride can be fairly bumpy. Because this boat leaves later than many of the larger operators and generally stays close to the shoreline, the trip to Molokini takes longer. By the time we arrived, the wind had picked up enough that we couldn’t snorkel inside the crater and were instead taken to the back side. While the back wall is great for scuba diving, it isn’t nearly as enjoyable for snorkeling, so we missed out on the classic Molokini experience.
The highlight of the trip was Turtle Town. The crew did an excellent job spotting turtles and directing everyone toward them, and we had an amazing time in the water there.
Unfortunately, the food and drinks were a letdown. The drinks were only lukewarm, and the lunch was disappointing—stale bread with bland, tasteless turkey.
The crew was friendly and helpful, especially at Turtle Town, but between the slower itinerary, missing the main Molokini snorkeling site, and the poor food, the overall experience ended up being average rather than memorable.

We had the best crew with captain Este and his team. We saw a ton of turtles both from the boat and while snorkeling. We were also lucky enough to come up on a pod of 20 dolphins which was epic! The crater snorkeling was the icing on the cake. Clearest water we have ever seen.

This was a near perfect excursion. Both stops were fantastic. The sandwiches provided were a nice surprise. We did hit a few whitecaps on the way back. The captain tried minimizing them. Other than that it was an awesome trip.

If I could give this snorkeling adventure more than five stars, I absolutely would! From the moment we entered the water, it felt like we had won the lottery and been dropped into a real-life aquarium. Everywhere we looked, there were vibrant tropical fish, stunning sea turtles, and crystal-clear water that made every second feel magical.
I’ll admit, I was more than a little trepidatious about snorkeling. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but within minutes, any fear I had completely disappeared. I was absolutely enchanted by the beauty beneath the surface. It was peaceful, awe-inspiring, and an experience I’ll never forget.
Then came the moment of panic—I accidentally dropped my phone, and it sank all the way to the ocean floor. I was convinced it was gone forever. But one absolutely badass diver didn’t hesitate for a second. She dove straight down, retrieved it from the bottom, and had it back in my hands almost immediately. Talk about going above and beyond! That act of kindness and skill turned what could have been a disaster into an unforgettable story.
The entire crew was phenomenal— (shout out to Will) professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone had an incredible experience. If you’re even thinking about snorkeling, stop thinking and book this adventure. Whether you’re a seasoned snorkeler or a nervous first-timer like I was, you’ll leave with amazing memories and a huge smile on your face.

Amazing experience. Escobar and the others were fantastic. The experience at the Crater was wonderful. So many different types of fish. Lastly, food and drink options were great. They even went out of their way to provide a GF option at our request.

What a unique and exciting experience! Naomi and Captain Redbeard were incredible guides who interspersed humor with safety along with kindness and patience. The best part is you don't need to know how to swim or snorkel to be able to participate: there are life vests for every person and they explain the snorkel gear clearly. The boat was smaller than other tours but for good reason: they got us close to a cove known to have sea turtles that larger boats couldn't access. We were not disappointed! We saw so many turtles and the beautiful reef too. On the ride over to the crater we even saw multiple flipper dolphins! The Molokini crater was much more crowded but it didn't matter; we were able to see hundreds of different fish species and even more coral reef. The water was super clear and we were given ample time to explore or just float in the water looking at God's masterpiece. Naomi and Captain Redbeard were happy to take photos and videos and help with any issues that arose. Make sure to wear reef safe sunscreen and be prepared for possible rain and cold water. Overall, this was a great experience and I'd highly recommend!

It was fantastic. The boat was smooth the staff were extremely friendly. As we were taking the boat over to molokini they took us to an area where there were turtles and when they were driving the boat they noticed a couple of dolphins they took us over to where they were and we must have had at least $50 come up to the boat it was an amazing experience the dolphin do a jumping on spinning. Very unexpected and that does not happen very often they said. But they were all great

The captain and deck hands were amazing. The captain said if I wouldn’t swim here neither will we, he brought us to four different spots to see turtles. Each spot we saw turtles on the surface, the fourth spot we saw turtles under water. We were lucky and got a bonus spot on the backside of the crater with the 400 foot drop off. All the crew were attentive to the people in the water ready to jump in at a moments notice. They always had at least one crew member in the water with floatation gear at the ready.

Amazing excursion! The staff were super knowledgeable of the area and kept driving around until we found the best spot to snorkel. We were fortunate enough to be able to snorkel the back of Molokini crater where we saw a whitetip reef shark. We also saw turtles and loads of amazing fish! The captain was very funny and the food provided was a great bonus!

We had three main stops. The first was for the turtles and we saw sooo many. The second was for both fish and potential turtles. They also spotted dolphins, so we detoured to view them. Lastly, we went to the crater. The water was so clear and it was amazing to watch the fish.

We had a wonderful experience. Our lucky day there 18 of us and we left a few minutes early.Another plus, we were able to have 4 snorkeling spots - one where we enjoyed seeing turtles, another near a lava rocks and two sites at the Molokoni Crater one inside and one where the depth is over 300 feet straight down. We had plenty of time at each. Breakfast snacks, sandwich and chips with plenty of drinks - water, soda, juice. Captain Esteban and Will were a wonderful crew. Highly recommend this tour.
