Top Maui Surfing Lessons

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Ricardo & Kingston helped our 3 kids so well, ages 8, 11 & 13. Nick was so easy to work with & really impressed us. It was such a personalized experience tailored on the spot to our kids, who are all so different. One of our kids would need a little extra TLC & we were unsure how they’d like surfing. Every single kid was ALL SMILES & raving about when can we go again. It felt very safe, which was importantly to us. 100% ABSOLUTELY book this experience. The kids liked this better than snorkeling, ziplining or swimming in the pool! THANK YOU NICK, KINGSTON & RICARDO for making the trip so special.

We had the best time at our surf lesson today! The instructors were incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. They put a big emphasis on safety, which we really appreciated, especially as beginners. They were so patient and encouraging, and made sure every single person in our group got up on a board (which felt amazing!). You could tell they genuinely cared about us having a great experience, not just getting through the lesson. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip We were all smiling the entire time. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about trying surfing!

First time surfing for my son and me. My daughter’s second. We absolutely loved it!!! I didn’t think I’d be able to stand, but we all did! Scott and Braden didn’t waste any time teaching and gave us all as many times to catch a wave as possible in 90 mins.

10/10 experience. Sadly, we had the start time wrong, thankful Ramon gave us a quick call and we were able to still come 20min in. He gave a super helpful introduction to surfing prior to going into the water and went over safety precautions as well. Once we were able to properly get up on the board we got into the water. We had perfect weather and a bunch of waves. We got up almost every time and he made sure to give advice when needed. Honestly coolest guy and worth trying. We got some sick photos as well that we did end up getting. That is a separate charge but worth for almost 100photos. If you’re considering doing a private lesson or group lesson, do private. We had a couple groups next to us as well that didn’t have as much success as us but they had 2 instructors to 8 people. Can’t stress enough how worth this experiences was.

We booked a private surf lesson for myself, our 2 sons and our 8 and 10 year old grand son and daughter. Z our instructor was patient, positive and had us riding the waves just like the locals (well, sort of) within our first 30 minutes. There's a photographer there who took a ton of great photos which we happily purchased. Highly recommend if you want to have an epic time on your vacation

This was easily one of our favorite experiences on Maui. We have a family of 6 so it was nice to have a lesson all together. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our instructor “Wave Daddy” was a fantastic teacher and our kids had a blast learning to surf. The cove was a perfect spot for beginners. The pictures from the experience turned out awesome too. I would highly recommend this company anyone looking for some fun on your vacation.

Sophie and Jessica were fabulous. They were friendly and encouraging and made learning to surf easy. My 11 year old had a permanent smile on his face. They taught us how to get up on land and then took us out in the water. They maneuvered the boards into place for us and told us when to paddle and to get up so we could focus on technique rather than timing at first. As we improved they let us figure out the timing a bit more independently while still helping my 11 year old to paddle back out rather than exhausting himself with paddling. It was a great way to spend a morning.

This was my first time surfing and to my surprise I caught several waves! Javier was great at teaching and breaking down how to do every step to make sure I succeeded. Even when I wiped out he was still very encouraging. If it’s your first time or not, I definitely recommend.
