We had an amazing snorkeling experience with Robbie! He was a fantastic host—friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure our whole family felt comfortable and safe in the water.
We were lucky to see so much marine life, including sea turtles, lots of colorful fish, and even an octopus! Robbie knew exactly where to go and made the whole trip fun and memorable for everyone.
Highly recommend snorkeling with Robbie if you're visiting Maui. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

We want to give a huge thank you to Zephyr Adventures Maui for giving our family of four such an unforgettable snorkeling experience!
As non-swimmers, we were honestly very scared and confused about whether we should even attempt a snorkeling tour — especially with our 4-year-old. Our 10-year-old daughter, who is a good swimmer, really wanted to experience snorkeling, so we were trying to decide between Molokini and other options. choosing Zephyr Adventures Maui turned out to be the best decision we made.
We shared all our fears and concerns with our instructor, Joe, and he was absolutely amazing. He gave us so much confidence and made us feel completely comfortable from the start. I was extremely nervous, but with Joe’s support, I was able to enjoy the experience and came out of the water so happy and proud of myself.
Joe also helped our daughter during her very first ocean swim. He guided her underwater so she could safely experience the reef — something she will never forget. It was such a special moment for our family.
If you are a non-swimmer and hesitant about snorkeling, I highly recommend going with Zephyr Adventures Maui — especially with Joe. He is patient, kind, and truly cares about making sure everyone feels safe and enjoys the experience.
Plus, he helped us capture beautiful photos that we will cherish as lifetime memories.

Robbie lead an excellent snorkel tour for both non swimmers and swimmers alike. My husband, a non swimmer, cannot stop talking about the great time he had!

We had a great time and the staff was so helpful! We saw turtles and got to hold some sea critters as well! I will say that if you are not a great swimmer or a bit older it is difficult to swim out to the area and back in. I would rent the power jets they offer, that helped my family a lot. The two staff were so helpful and patience with me and others who were not great swimmers, would recommend them again!

Saw so many sea turtles! Robbie was very patient with my husband who was not comfortable in the water. I completely messed up and went to the WRONG mtg point (one in app rather than text) and was very grateful that Robbie called and waited for us. Wish I’d had water socks for walking on rocks when getting in/out of water.

This was a great excursion for a first timer like me but also for someone who has snorkeled a handful of times like my boyfriend. We both really enjoyed it and got to see turtles, fish, and other sea life! Payson was a great guide and very accommodating.

Very nice guide but the pick up was changed less than 12 hours before the event, resulting in expensive Ubers. The promotion also offered free video and photo, the guide did not expect this and expected $70 for photos (I printed out the receipt, so he did ultimately share the photos). Otherwise beautiful location and a nice guide, maybe i caught the company on a bad day. They said they were having trouble keeping their website updated.

Interesting review. This guest messaged after the tour and asked to be reimbursed for the uber fair since we moved the location, which was about 2 miles away from our original location. I live here, so I’m familiar with the uber prices; the quote he mentioned seemed high, but we decided to let him know we could reimburse him for the uber (I don’t think many companies would pay for guests transportation.) after less than 24 hours without a reply back via email, he messages again threatening to call and complain to his booking agent about us, the entirety of the situation seemed strange. Anyway, take this review how you see fit.

With that out of the way , and us being total non swimmers, we had a great great time with our instructor Joe. He was phenomenal. Took the time to explain the details. Helped a lot , he was patient.
Tip: if you are not a swimmer GET the scooter they rent. That will be the difference between enjoying this and it being a pain to keep going. Just get it. You can actually enjoy snorkeling with the scooter. Also get the floaters. My 9y old loved it.. highlight of the trip

Alex was a fantastic guide. He was friendly and helpful. He made the non-swimmers feel comfortable in the water. He found the turtles for us, which was the highlight of the adventure. He also took fabulous pictures of everyone.

Me and my son had a wonderful time snorkeling with Robbie. He guided us ever step of the way and took us to spots where we could swim along slide turtles and schools of fishes. We were lucky to even spot a manta ray.

Robbie was such a great guide and this experience was amazing! Robbie deep dives to help us newbies take wonderfil photos and videos with starfish, turtles, and an octopus. I was so scared to put my face underwater (but still wanted to experience snorkling) and Robbie assisted me with the “panic board” (aka your friendly boogie board) which made me feel so safe. Thankful to have checked this off the bucket list!

It was a spectacular snorkelling experience with our professional guide Joe this morning! He was well prepared and arrived right on time. He took us to a nearby hotpot. Within minutes, we were swimming with Turtles. His underwater photography skills were insane! Sea scooters were a must! My kids were jetting around us like dolphins! Will definitely do it again!

Do you like adventures? Then do this! This was for beginners and it appeared we may have an issue with younger guests, but Joseph was able to handle it like a pro. I'm an older adult, 65, and he made sure I felt comfortable and safe. Though we only saw a couple of turtles, Joseph worked hard to find them and other sea creatures we were able to hold and get photos. He worked us hard, but it was well worth it! At the end, we were pooped out, but, our small group was all smiles and happiness! Thanks Joseph, great job!! DO IT!!!!!

We had a phenomenal time snorkeling with our fabulous guide, Joe! It was such fun especially with the sea scooter!! It was a blast scooting around the ocean following beautiful sea creatures. Great adventure!

We had a great time with Robbie, who helped my anxious family enjoy snorkeling for their first time. He knew exactly where to go, and kept track of everyone. He was attentive when my daughters needed a bit of help, and somehow still had us in the right spot when the turtles swam by. We had our own cameras but didn't need them because his pictures were way better! I would definitely recommend this tour!

Robbie did a excellent job of handling some of the non swimmers in the group. I had a bit of panic at the beginning as this is the first time for me and I am not an expert swimmer but he helped me ease into the activity.

This was our first time snorkeling and Robbie, who was our guide, made us feel comfortable. He showed how to use our snorkeling gear, what to expect when snorkeling, and how far we’ll go from shore. We saw multiple turtles, a spotted eagle ray, held a sea urchin and spongy starfish, as well as an octopus! Robbie took great pictures for us and we will have a memorable time to look back on.

Our guide Alec was great, gave us a rundown of what the journey would entail and safety expectations.
He made sure we all felt comfortable when getting in the water and made sure everyone was good before starting our journey. He pointed out different marine life and we saw so many sea turtles on the trip!
The only thing I didn’t like was when it was over! I could’ve stayed there for hours. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to snorkel in Maui

Robbie the guide was great. Ended up being just me, my 8YO, and Robbie. He was very comfortable in the area we were in and was flexible in making sure we had a good time. Spent around and hour in the water which was the right amount of time. Was a good way to be introduced to snorkeling and get more comfortable so next time we could go unguided.

This is a great deal especially for beginners like myself. Me and my husband were the only ones in our tour and had a blast with Joe and Stefany or Stephanie I am unsure of the spelling but she was amazing as well. She made me feel safe and gave me a great deal of confidence I needed thank you beautiful lady. Very cool vibes and even better service. If you are on the fence about the jet scooters DO IT!!! I am not the best swimmer but felt a lot more comfortable with this for support. Easy to operate when you follow directions. We saw turtles, an octopus, fish and a sting ray. Bring ear and nose plugs that sea water almost took me out!!! Joe is a fast swimmer so tighten up!!! Thank you so much Joe for taking awesome pictures and videos for us to remember this amazing experience for years to come. Bottom line yea you could try this on your own but NEXT TIME!!! Let the pros show you how it’s done!!

We had an amazing time. Our guide Joe was awesome. He joined us on our tour. Took us to a private area, showed us some amazing things, took photos and videos. That's all included in the price which I could not find with any other companies.
Eveyone was super friendly and I highly recommend using them for your adventure!
