Your Maui horseback tour begins at the Mendes Ranch Corral, where you meet the paniolos and your horse before embarking on your ride. Choose from a morning or afternoon departure.
Canter across rolling green pastures and down towards Waihee Valley, where you ride along the wave-battered coast with the Pacific Ocean as your backdrop and see panoramic vistas of the valley. Snap photos of the central valley and get photos of you up in the saddle. Then, gradually ascend your way up the mountain, passing taro patches and plantation homes, on the return trip back to Mendes Ranch corral.

This was one of the most beautiful trail rides I have ever been on. The trail is on the island coast with ocean view. Chase was able to squeeze my husband onto the trail ride despite not having him pre-booked. Wranglers/guides are very knowledgeable and we had a fun yet relaxing ride. I highly recommend this experience!

Absolutely wonderful. Even got a little rain. Ranch hands are so kind and helpful. They took care of my 8yo making sure she was safe and having fun. Horses were fun and silly. Views were beautiful. Absolutely worth every moment. Also they have cats and a Mr. Pig and lots of peacocks!

Wonderful scenery with pleasant guides. Terrain has incline leading down to some really cool scenes where the guides tell a bit about the history of the surrounding ranches. Really cool experience regardless of skill level

This was such an incredible experience. Not only did you get to ride some of the most beautiful horses on the planet. You learn an incredible lesson about the island and the ranches, and how they came to be. If I ever come back to maori, I will definitely go back to mendez.Ranch and ride the horses.I was lucky enough to ride kenny rogers.He was an angel.

Highly recommended. Had a great time with my teen daughter on our ride. The guides were very helpful and made us feel comfortable, especially being beginner riders. The views were breathtaking. The ride was a decently slow pace allowing time to take in the scenery and enjoy connecting with the horse. We were the first tour after a storm forced closure of the trail for a few days. Circle M staff provided great communication and easily rescheduled our trip to ensure safety. Precious memories were made for sure. Very happy and it was the highlight of our time on Maui. My daughter rode Kenny Rodgers and Chief was my horse. :) We appreciated the great photo spot and learning about the history. Mahalo!!

My experience was amazing. Before I went I was really nervous to ride horses, but after all of the thorough instructions, and a few minutes into the ride, I was super at ease and having a great time. The views are amazing and the tour guides even take pictures of you and your family/friends. 10/10 would recommend
