Max was the epitome of “surf is life.” From start to finish, he was professional, patient, passionate, and genuinely invested in making the experience special. Most importantly, he was amazing with my 6-year-old daughter, Paisley. He knew exactly how to make her feel comfortable, encouraged her every step of the way, and turned her first surfing experience into something she’ll never forget. This ended up being one of the best memories of our daddy-daughter trip, and Max deserves a huge amount of credit for that. We came for a surf lesson and left with an experience we’ll talk about for years. P.S. — Do yourself a favor and add the drone video with his partner OG. The footage is absolutely incredible and captured moments we otherwise never would have had. Totally worth it! Thank you, Max and OG, for an unforgettable experience!

Amazing Surfing Experience

So much fun!! It was my first time surfing ever and I was scared but my instructors made it very comfortable and took care of us! Our instructor was super funny and hyped us up to ride the waves. He kept us safe as well since the spot we were surfing at was kinda shallow. It was a very fun experience and felt taken care of the whole time.

AMAZING Surfing Experience!!

I can’t say enough good things about our surfing experience with Jon and Suzy! They had me and my two daughters, 11 and 9, up and catching waves after three tries. Super fun private surf lesson at stoke drift surf school. Instructor Kiai was awesome super fun dude to spend the morning with learning to surf. Made learning easy and fun and we both caught a ton of waves. The photos taken were great too. Awesome experience, totally worth it and highly recommended.

Amazing!

This was amazing. The instructors are so patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Me and my sons had an amazing time. The photo package is also super reasonable compared to many other businesses. We had a wonderful and memorable time. We went at noon on a Monday and the area they took us wasn’t crowded at all. I’m not in the best shape of my life and did get tired at points. For sure load up on water, some stretching and a solid meal before going.

Surfs up!

As a solo traveler trying surfing for the very first time, my private lesson with Marco and the Ohana Surf Project was an experience I’ll never forget. Marco took care of me every step of the way. He was incredibly patient, kind, supportive, and encouraging, especially when I was one of the last people to finally stand up on the board. Not once did I feel discouraged. The entire team and even the other participants cheered me on and celebrated my success like it was their own. To top it all off, they captured the experience with amazing photos and videos that I’ll treasure forever. Both my husband and I were standing up and riding waves by the end of the lesson, our instructor was very knowledgeable and helped us to feel comfortable and confident on the boards! Absolutely amazing day!

We had an absolutely amazing experience. We have been dreaming of surfing at Waikiki for many years and the experience with the help of our instructors. Kevin and Harry was better than we could’ve imagined. We had two beginner surfers as well and both of them had an absolute blast and caught a whole bunch of waves. Wonderful surfing experience

The entire team was absolutely awesome. We got plenty of time out on the water, even though the waves weren’t quite hitting. My seven-year-old rode tandem with an instructor and he had a wonderful time. My 10-year-old, my wife, and I all got to catch plenty of waves and had a great time. The team was organized, friendly and amazing they took GoPro video of all of us surfing, and the footage was exceptional. Nice long rides, and they provided trash guards and water shoes. I can’t recommend them enough.
