This whale watching excursion was on a smaller catamaran which led to a more intimate experience than the larger catamarans I’ve been on.. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were very accommodating to make sure I had a good experience since I have some limited mobility issues. Snacks were restocked quickly and there were multiple choices of beverages. The captain is very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. I highly recommend this company for whale watching excursion before.

All in all good experience. Timely departure, small group so easy to enjoy as a family. We travelled with two small kids, and enjoyed it truly.

This is probably the fourth or fifth whale watching tour we’ve taken on Maui and by far the best. The catamaran was the perfect size with under 40 other passengers. We saw more whales in the first half hour than in all our other tours combined. Excellent captain and a super friendly crew made it a great to spend a Thursday morning. The floating tiki bar is a nice touch. Just an overall fun time.

We loved the laid back catamaran experience. The crew was so friendly. We would have liked a few more whale facts. The pina coladas were delicious! The whales and calf’s were amazing!

We were on the Whale Watching tour and the crew of three were very knowledgeable, professional, and fun! We saw so many whales: moms with their babies, groups of mom, baby, and escort(s), males fighting for a mate, and one that came underneath and up the front of the catamaran without rocking anyone….a complete an exhilarating experience.

Great, smaller boat experience. Only 9 of us on the tour. Lots of space to spread out and get clear views of the whales. Very personalized service by the crew.

This is a smaller boat with a smaller group which I liked. It was more intimate with plenty of space. The boat is a smaller catamaran which was lower to the water giving an up close feeling. The boat was clean and comfortable. The crew was very friendly and informative. They were very proactive in communicating and sent a great video of where to find them. Definitely would have been hard without the video.

There is no bad whale watching on Maui. There are better than this, but these people are new to the business and still finding their way. They do have respect for the whales and knowledge but are still figuring out how to communicate it smoothly. The spotter would say, "There's a whale," but forget to add the clock position so we could look in the correct direction. She also missed education chances, while becoming excited herself regarding what she was seeing or hearing. Plus, regardless of what the owner says, morning whale watching is better than mid-day.

A bit hard to find the boat- could use better signage....
No need for music, but good song list - they turned down some when whales were close so we could hear them.

Excellent fun adventure reasonably priced compared to others. We were right up near the Whales. The captian turned off the engines and we drifted then the whales came to us so close. Great crew very knowable and attentive.

The whole crew was very nice and very knowledgeable about whales. They were diligent about getting everyone location info in advance so they could show up on time in the right place. Definitely would use them again.

We barely even left the marina, and saw two whales almost immediately. From there we probably saw 20 more including mamas, babies, and escorts. We went at the end of January, and it was the most perfect weather.
Staff was wonderful, informative, and friendly. Captain has a great ship, well maintained and the open bar and the tiki bar is a nice touch.

Things we liked:
+The number of whales we came across! - we really lucked out that day and even caught a few jumps and fin slaps from off in the distance
+The microphone they lower into the ocean -Listening to the whales singing was amazing!
+The option to sit out front on the catamaran nets -you get splashed but the front row view is worth it!
+The bag of chips and the drinks they provide -The mai tais were actually really good.
+The registration team we spoke to prior to the trip - they were very personable and easy to get a hold of, and they sent over very thorough info on what our group would need
Things we didn't like as much:
-while the registration team was wonderful, the actual crew on the boat seemed just a little cranky and unwelcoming at first. You almost felt like a school kid that was already in trouble as you entered ;)
Once past all of that, it was overall a great experience that we'd recommend taking!

Wonderful trip to see whales! Crew was very friendly and helpful. When grandson started getting a little seasick. The captain had him come have a seat up top by him since it was calmer up there. Crew fixed him an ice pack and gave him Sprite to make him feel better. It all helped him feel better and enjoy the whales..

The crew is outstanding! They provided a really good whale watching experience, we saw a mom whale and a calf, a well as several large male whales. They are respectful of the whale's space and safety, the same time as providing an exciting whale watching experience. The whale came close to the vessel while the engines were off. There were just the right amount of guests, making it not crowded and providing a private charter atmosphere. The crew is very knowledgeable about whales and have a great sense of humor. Love the no shoe policy on deck. Snacks and drinks were provided. This is the perfect whale watching tour. Highly recommend!!!
