What are people saying about San Francisco

Quaint stops, yummy eats
This was the cutest little tour ever. Our guide was super friendly at making our group of strangers feel like family for a day. She was great at setting expectations at what our next step would entail. The food stops were delicious and ambience was cozy. We had margarita pizza, pasta, fried rice balls stuff with ground beef, chicken pesto sandwiches, smoothies or coffee, cannolis, and a stop at a fudge /candy store. My ten year old loved the tour too!

This wasn't your typical tourist walk around the city — it felt like being shown San Francisco by a knowledgeable local
Britt was absolutely fantastic. This wasn't your typical tourist walk around the city — it felt like being shown San Francisco by a knowledgeable local friend. We spent the day exploring downtown San Francisco and discovering hidden alleys, historic buildings, unique landmarks, and fascinating little spots that I would have walked straight past without ever noticing.
What really stood out was Britt's knowledge of the city's history. He didn't just point things out; he told the stories behind them, helping us understand how San Francisco developed into the city it is today. By the end of the tour, I felt like I had gained a genuine appreciation for the city's culture, architecture, and character.
The pace was great, the information was engaging, and there was a perfect balance between history, local insights, and interesting anecdotes.
If you want a deeper understanding of San Francisco beyond the usual tourist attractions, I highly recommend taking this tour with Britt.

A Must-Do
A fantastic day trip to Yosemite. Calder was knowledgeable and informative throughout the journey, and I especially appreciated the extra free time in Yosemite Valley to explore and enjoy the scenery at my own pace. Everything was well organized, and the experience exceeded my expectations.

Isabella = Community
Isabella immediately won us over with her care and understanding for our specific tour needs, and she went above and beyond by ensuring we were even provided extra food while having to leave early. Absolute gem of a human and a discerning soul.
The tour was immersive and magnificent at inculcating someone with the heart of asan Francisco’s Chinatown community—whether watching the checkers players from the courtyard or sampling an onion roll—Isabella delivered an incredibly special tour.

Thom Is the Bomb
My wife and I go on many ghost tours—not necessarily due to a belief in the paranormal but because it’s usually a great pairing with a more traditional city tour at learning a city’s more complete history. Thom demonstrated a masterclass performance and due diligence at inculcating us all with his dark tales of San Francisco alongside the spirit of renewal and resurgence the city itself lives as a credo. Brilliant orator with a fine set of approaches to all of these stories—this is THE guy to share this local history!

You will be doing a lot...
You will be doing a lot of walking. I mean ALOT. Wear comfortable shoes & layer your clothing. Andre, our tour guide was gracious & highly knowledgeable of the culture, customs & the areas we were passing through. Highly enjoyable & you will eat numerous items throughout the tour! Our favorite being this little shop called Elena's Bread on Columbus Ave! Amazing baklava & sweet bread! We ended up going back & purchasing more items after the tour ended. Over all it is a fun experience!

Don’t miss this!
Wow! What a great way to experience the Mission District. Mark was an amazing guide, full of information and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed this itinerary, the history and of course the food. Don’t hesitate to book this if you are looking for a great overview of history, culture and delicious food tastings!

Best Tour Guide Ever
Alcatraz was surreal, educational, and incredibly interesting. The audio tour, narrated by former guards and inmates, really brought the prison’s history to life. Learning about the Indian occupation was powerful, and the views and gardens were beautiful.
Muir Woods was peaceful and breathtaking, with majestic redwoods and calming trails, while Sausalito was a charming seaside town. Our tour guide was informative, friendly, funny, and made the entire experience unforgettable. 10/10!

An Unforgetable Memory
If you want to learn the hidden secrets of SF, this is the tour for you. The groups are small and the VW buses are a fun way to experience the sights. Clay, our guide was super. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He claimed he once worked for the U.S. State dept but we were convinced he was a free-lance stand up comic. We are suggesting to our families and friends visiting SF that they take this tour and request Clay.

Excellent San Fransisco Adventure
Excellent city tour. Had a little trouble finding the guide at the start (not her fault) as exact directions were not given, but guide immediately let her boss know to have location for start of tour clarified (good customer service). The tour took us throughout San Fransisco to places I had always wanted to see but could never see on my own. Guide was extremely knowledgeable with local history. Trip included travel on all forms of city transportation (cable cars, trolleys, buses, subway) and she even included a Waymo taxi ride. Guide made several restaurant recommendations during tour which we bookmarked for future reference. (ate at two of the recommended restaurants and food was fantastic). Would definitely recommend the tour for anyone looking for a full day experience with helpful tips for future exploring of the city. Great job.

Marcus is awesome!
The trip started a little rocky with our guide calling after 10 ( trip started at 10) to say they would be at the shop in 20 minutes. Marcus showed up for his 11:00 city tour trip and saved the day. I was able to go on his tour instead- and I'm so glad the first trip didn't pan out!! Marcus knew a lot of San Francisco history, and had a great book on the ride to share even more! If I were to do it all again I wouldn't hesitate to book the city tour with Marcus- worth the 4 hours if you want to bike through all parts of the city. I had plenty of time to bike to Crissy park, onto the Golden Gate bridge, into Sausalito with a quick bite to eat and back to the shop before time to turn in the bike. Thank you Marcus for showing me around the amazing San Francisco!

Muir woods
Wow! Does Buddy have a lot of knowledge about San Francisco and the area around. I learned so much. Very comfortable in the van. Could hear him well with his speaker. Easy to understand his instructions when to get back to the bus after walks through Muir Woods and Sausalito

Move over cable cars—San Francisco is a town best explored on foot. The compact city is 7 square miles (18 square kilometers) of dense neighborhoods, historic alleyways, hilltop viewpoints, and urban green spaces. While San Francisco walking tours are great for experiencing the unique character of city neighborhoods—and even a certain world-renowned bridge—they can venture beyond the beaten trails that bus tours rarely tread. They're also often organized around themes such as architecture, hiking, street art, cuisine, history, and even ghosts.
