I would choose another tour operater. I’ve done many tours in the past and this one was bland and while I took an English tour, and am proficient in English and Italian, I couldn’t understand the broken Chinese/italian/english ally of the time. I could hear what other tour operators were saying to their groups, giving wonderful tips and interesting information. While ours said things like - this is an animal statue room. Super bland. Absolutely not worth €135 for such a big group.

where did you have paid for the st peter basilica ? please first read well what you are buying and do not ask anyone what you have not paid and where its written that st peter entrance included how we misrepresented you ?

The building you meet at felt odd, like I thought it was a currency exchange place with the ATM out front. Then for the tour, we just had a bleh time. He took us to the museum but then left before the sistene chapel. He did tell us where to go for the basilica, but I think next time I’ll look for a tour guide for that experience as well, as I saw others in the basilica with their tour guides. Maybe it’s personal preference but I prefer when a tour guide gives us a ton of facts, especially during the waiting times. Other than that, the tour guide was very nice and very knowledgeable when telling stories. He was also very kind to everyone in the group and was easy to understand.

we are just few steps away from the vatican museum's & sistine chapel entrance and the most close one i really did not understood what the atm sign did to you ? is this really matter ? and our guide silvio who has done this tour working as guide from last 30 years very professional he nit suppose to give you time in case you arrived half hour before the starting time

Very slow tour guide

We were brought to the Vatican by someone who was not our tour guide and handed off to an elderly man on crutches. He said he uses them to skip the long line but he in fact needed them. We explained to him that we only had 1 afternoon in Rome, so after an hour of our tour and seeing almost nothing we parted ways to continue the tour ourselves. We still tipped the man for his time and he was just rude. I paid over $300 for this experience. It may have been a fantastic tour if we had a different guide.

hello there your tour guide name was giuseppe and he had a surgery in leg normally the vatican tour takes 2.30 hours and he complete that in two hours he is able to walk with a normal pace suppose to be in a museum tour and use his sticks due to surgery support if you had short time its not really fault of an experienced guide as he is working here since 1996 almost 30 years i am sorry i can not appreciate the way you reviewed him its not respectful and instead of 20 pax group you attended only 4 pax group which is kind a private tour suppose to cost you 300 per person not for two .

Great tour with a great tour guide! I missed her name. (she uses a Minnie Mouse cloth as a flag) She was so knowledgable of all of the history here and she kept us entertained with her anecdotes. The tour had so much information and there was so much to see.

The ticket got us in very quickly. We spent maybe 10 minutes waiting to get in. The Museum, Chapel, and Basilica are incredible. Amazing. This is a long guided trip. My family laughed that you needed a phd in Christian history to appreciate the tour through the museum. It was two hours of history that most on the tour did not appreciate.

The guided tour was fair, at best. Although our guide spoke English I found her hard to understand with the headset provided. The crowds were unbelievable. We were kept moving in the museum and had NO time to enjoy the artifacts. The Sistine Chapel was JAMMED with tourists. Although there is the ability to sit along the perimeter, to look up at the ceiling, the seats were fought for, when someone got up. Therefore, you were left standing in a mob scene and not enjoy the peace and serenity that would go along with such a treasure. A highlight was climbing the spiral stairway to the top of the dome but had to wait 2 hours to get tickets for the climb! Your tour ticket gets you into the Basilica but the climb is 10 Euros extra. Overall I would not recommend it...paid $316 for 3 people.

best for you next time to save money get in with normal lines and try to come in deep winter low season to enjoy as you dream lining up can save more than half you have paid to save your day and we never include dome climbing activity as it is written in tour details too you have no idea even about this what you have bought i believe

More focus on keeping group together then the reason for the tour

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice, however, she was rushing through so quickly that we were helping to corral the group to try and keep up. It was hard to hear her if you were not right next to her. For a group of this size, it is impossible for most to hear her. We were able to keep up as she weaved through other tour groups. This is not a good tour for someone who can’t speed walk. We didn’t get much time at any one item. It was so crowded and hotter inside than outside (and it was hot outside). A smaller group tour or at your own pace is best.

a smaller group is better for sure also cost much more than you have paid or willing to pay you were in s group of 25 pax also we provide headphones to all our groups as a must i dont know why all other could hear and you were not hearing as its an walking tour travellers must be willing to walk or not book a vatican tour if can not walk well we never walk fast as its a museum and tour is 2.30 hours we are disagreeing this review content strongly and suspecting its an intentional writing

Helpful Tour

This tour helped us get past the long lines outside of the Vatican Museums. We had a group of 21 people. Once inside, we were mixed in with many other tour groups, but the provided headsets helped us follow our guide as he told us about some of the amazing exhibits. The Gallery of Map was fantastic. The tour ended at the Sistine Chapel, and our guide explained how we could go to St. Peter's Basilica on our own afterwards.

No início, para pegarmos os ingressos, foi um pouco confuso, importante chegar cedo. Durante a excursão foi tudo ótimo. A guia foi bem educada e divertida. Nos guiou bem por todos os ambientes e, inclusive, nos deixou próximos a Basílica de São Pedro. Praticamente não pegamos fila na excursão, quando ocorreu (devido a outras excursões), foi bem rápido. Recomendo o passeio.
