This was the perfect tour to celebrate my birthday in Rome! Our fabulous guide Fabrizia was full of interesting facts and stories. It felt like walking through the streets of Rome with a good friend by your side. We had plenty of opportunity to sample Rome's excellent cuisine - my favourites were the Tiramisu and the gelato, simply to die for!

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun too. Didn't shy away from some of the "darker" side of history as, I've noticed some other guides do on Italy tours. Food and wine were excellent, I tried some new things. Also, this particular group was lively and social, which made it more fun! Highly recommend.

We did several different food tours during our vacation and this one was the best! Well worth it! Our guide, Maria, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She shared information about each food offered but also parts of the city where we stopped to eat. The amount of food and types of food was fantastic! We tried foods we never would have otherwise tried which made our experience even better! I highly recommend this tour! It’s a must!

This was a fantastic tour. There was some walking, not much, and LOTS of food and history. Maria, our tour guide, was personable, knowledgeable and welcoming of additional questions. Some food tours you end up trying the same variety of foods but from different places, this was not at all like this. Different stages of a meal from appetizers, starters, main course, coffee and dessert. Would highly recommend this tour!

This was a fabulous tour! We ate and ate and ate! We also learned about the Jewish ghetto in Rome. Out tour guide, Fabrizia, was a gem; she even let us tag along with her to get the bus to our hotel! Visit the synagogue prior to the tour.

Well worth it

This was a great way to experience some genuine Italian food. The company had contacted us a few days before that some of their suppliers would not be available and asked us if we could rebook. I rearranged some of our other activities and we were able to do this. So glad we did. I know many foodies like Testavere, but this one was so convenient to our hotel. Maria was great.

I have been on food tours all over the world in my travels. This was one of the best food tours. We sampled so many foods in seven stops. Our tour guide Maria was warm, knowledgeable and organized. In the busiest restaurants we never waited for our food. We used Maria’s restaurant recommendations during the balance of our stay. All great!!! Highly recommend at the beginning our your visit to Rome.

Marco took good care of us. He's a very knowledgeable guide and friendly. All the dishes were delicious (except for the anchovies, which my teenagers didn't like, but I did ) and we were so full after the tour. The sit down dinner, we had soooo many pasta dishes that we tried. I'd recommend this food tour if it's your first time in Rome. Do it at the beginning of your trip. Were planning to come back to our other stops later. Grazie, Marco!

I think the name is deceiving. This tour is a culinary tour because it visits different restaurants. No history or story is told of the Jewish Guetto. We spent 4 minutes in front of some archeological sites, but it needed more historical content. If you enjoy food, it is an excellent tour for you.
