Unfortunately, as consistent Viator users…. We were disappointed with this DC tour. We booked this particular tour over others strictly because it gave us more time at each stop…. So we sacrificed stops for the time. First of all, our driver (who also happened to be the owner), was 15 minutes late picking us up at the pick-up spot. Then, the 20 minutes stops were consistently changed to 10 minute stops…. (Very difficult when you have to walk 5 minutes each way to the actual monument). Then, we didn’t even stop at all the stops listed on the tour itinerary. . We wish we would have done a longer tour with another company. We are hoping this was a one off thing for Viator, as we are typically thrilled with their tour’s & excursions.

We strive to make customers experience worthwhile.However with all the renovations going on at some of the memorials,in preparation for the 250th anniversary of our Nation we are limited to how long we can stay at each memorial..Thanks for your support.

Ali was so knowledgeable & engaged his guests throughout the tour with an empathetic approach (I got most of the questions wrong!). The bus was lovely & cool in between bursts of walking in 100+ heat.

Absolutely wonderful. The driver covered the important stops on the list and added another one, the Jefferson memorial, that was requested. It was very cold and he made a stop for us for hot chocolate and coffee at Starbucks.

Our drivers knowledge of all things DC was amazing and the way he shared it was perfect for my son who was visiting DC for the first time . Awestruck by the beauty of the monuments and the significance of the sacrifice at the war memorials . It was certainly a great cliff notes version of a taste of the city as we were limited on time

Charles, our tour guide was excellent! Very knowledgeable and obviously loves his hometown. He was extremely kind and thoughtful in helping my husband, a disabled Vietnam Veteran, getting his walker on and off the tour bus. We saw all the major sights in air conditioned comfort and Charles pointed out other lesser known buildings and sites as well as interesting stories and background on so many things. We were extremely pleased beginning with the ease of finding the start off point with plenty of parking areas.

I booked the tour online and Viator send me the address of 400 New Jersey Avenue SW. We found a suitable parking near by and went to the meeting place. We waited from 930am to 11 am. We called the number listed in the instructions and confirmed the pickup place was correct. We were informed by other tour buss operators the your big buss tour did not come to that area of town. We walked about oneile to the front of the capital in DC and followed the Big Buss tour to a stop. We wasted all morning

Previously at the end of the tour I ask if we can get down the bus in at Smithsonian Museums, and the driver accepted so we continuing visiting the tour the rest of the day.

Wait timings were good to explore and come back. But not all stops were covered. Management was really bad, they overbooked the buses and it was difficult to get seats if you didn’t come early. Seats were not guaranteed.

This tour was the worst I’ve ever been on. The guide was smart however it was hard to understand him. We didn’t see much of what we were supposed to see due to being stuck in traffic. My question is: if the guide is seasoned and have been doing this for years…how do you not anticipate that there will be traffic? Why not adjust the entire tour due to the possibility of heavy traffic. The tour was cut short and I felt cheated out of my money. I will never tour nor recommend it again

Would not recommend for kids- while the tour goes to a number of popular WC DC monuments, our guide rattled off information as fast as he possibly could, as though he could not wait to be done. We understand very little of what he said. The sound system was also extremely loud, hurting my son’s ears. We got off and bailed halfway through.

I would have liked to make a few more stops and had more time at them. The first thing listed on the included was a water bottle we never received and couldn't have drank on the bus. I brought my kids first time in DC. We came because of the cherry blossom festival. I'm glad we were on the bus through crowds and traffic.

This was a great opportunity for us to take in all the sights of DC and learn important facts and history from our host driver. Highly recommend. We would have liked a bit more time at the monuments and memorials, but happy non the less that we got to see so much.

Our tour guy was simply brilliant, great knowledge and funny! We had enough time to visit and take pictures of all the majoy landmarks having had a thourough debrief just before we came out of the bus for each one. It kept my 11 year old very much interested all along the 3 hours!

Dr. Ali Zohery did an amazing job of narrating the tour. He also gave us ample time to see the MLK monument, the north side of the White House, and the Lincoln Memorial. He did a great job of controlling and managing the group.

Excellent trip and totally worth the money! The best way to explore DC, especially for your first time visiting. This trip was the perfect amount of time to see so many of the amazing buildings, monuments, and memorials. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and let us know what to look for and it's historical or current important. The bus was clean, comfortable and had WiFi and a bathroom. My husband, my 10 year old son and I had a wonderful day!
